Miraculous Ladybug story idea that I’m not confident I could pull off properly, but I know there’s someone out there who can:

Genderfluid!Marinette discovers that when they transform while feeling more masculine and dressing as Marino, their personality has changed enough that it affects their superhero costume. Cue Chat getting jealous of this “Manbug” guy who’s borrowing his lady’s miraculous (because obviously it must be the boy that Ladybug’s in love with), but naturally Chat ends up in love with him too (“Dang it, I can see how Ladybug ended up falling for Manbug, he’s amazing!”)

Oh! How about Edgar the Bug? When he kills & steals Edgar's skin, it isn't long before his Young Male Farmhand Y/N comes along having heard the crash and the scream, "Edgar" tells him everything is fine he just got spooked. As Y/N looks in wonder at the crashed ship, he fails to see his "Boss" Eyeing him up, giving lots of attention to his Cute Face & Ass, Palming "Edgar's" Bulge in his overalls, now Ten Time Longer and Fatter than it was a few moments ago after being given a ManBug Upgrade! ;)

It’s a good thing the bug is able to squeeze himself inside impossibly tight places. :P Is there a name for that kink? If there is, I’ve forgotten it.

starts with wilbur reciting poem to july 2020 lmanburg clip, when wilbur and tommy started manbug, to today finding quackity to say sorry and stuff dude doesnt show, talks to tommy about leaving, tommy gets stabby, reveals that he (wilbur) is american from utah and is sailor boat person. sails off to the ocean poofs and transitions to irl wilbur in a desert then a happy animatic to ghostbur and friend

On the Tale of the Haunted Mansion: Where is the Danger?

Spoilers from the specific stream in question! Also, /roleplay!

This is the benefit of being a Dream SMP!Connor stan I swear—

What I found interesting in today’s Tale is Karl’s disappointment with the way the Nether Star Hunting Game Glatt made went down. He, after all that work, learning that there was no real threat to the people Schlatt made disappear, clearly pissed him off enough to leave the party, remarking how the way everyone acted around him is why Connor, the person whom everyone else is tied to, supposedly has no friends in present-day Dream SMP, or the last time they saw each other. He blamed Connor for why he didn’t have a good time.

The reason why Karl was so pissed, hell, why we the audience felt lacking from the episode was how Karl, our eyes, framed and interpreted everything. He perceieved Glatt’s Mansion Game as a genuinely dangerous situation, despite obvious evidence that everyone was there to have fun. We expected “big lore, big drama” but instead we got scuffed stream where everyone went full bastard.

Restricted to the Tale and the Tale alone, this is a ConnorEatsPants party that actually went right, comparable to the party of the 23rd of January. It had a lot of similarities, namely that it’s a party that Connor arranged to the best of his ability (he took the cheap $5 cabin/built a party house of iron blocks and white wool), had people Connor considered friends even though they barely knew him, and that Glatt crashed in to make things more fun for Connor, with the other guests disgruntled by the ghost. The only difference is that no one blew the place up. (Up in the air is how long into the future this is. Either way, it had to be long enough to correspond to Connor living away from the Greater Dream SMP and making the new friends featured in this tale).

Karl crashed in uninvited, just like Sir Billiam III’s Masquerade, only accepted by both parties’ hosts because the hosts wanted to be hospitable. Both Billiam’s and Connor’s guests were reflections of their respective hosts and it shows. Hell, both parties had Duck, Duck, Goose! Karl played into the role of someone trying to help once people began dying/disappearing. The way the parties went down were very different. The Masquerade ended with a familiar evil genuinely killing Karl. The Haunted Mansion ended with a familiar evil just having a friendly game with his guests.

Karl’s disappointment is reasonable when, in his past few travels, he has been working hard to keep everyone safe only for everyone to not be in any genuine danger the entire time. After bandits that gave a small town some casualities despite defending them, after encountering the Egg and being murdered by their guardian, after being murdered by Dream-obsessed Ranbob, after witnessing the demise of a village from its own mad villagers, after participating the way he did during the Manbug-Pogtopia war? Why wouldn’t he expect Schlatt to be genuinely killing Connor and his guests?

The way Karl kept asking Schlatt about his involvement the whole Manburg-Pogtopia thing evidently tells us how seriously he was taking everything. Schlatt deadass brushed that off, insisting that he changed after being dead for so long. Sleeping in the void must’ve done wonders for Glatt! He clearly seemed to have changed when you take into account that, with all his real estate work, on the sight of his good friend Connor having a party in the cheaper cabins, gives them a good time by upgrading their place and even making them play a fun game that ends in jacuzzi baths with skeletons and alcohol.

If you were in Connor’s shoes throughout all this, you’d end the party concluding that party-crasher Karl Jacobs was a killjoy. Glatt would then tell you to forget about him.

It’s no coincidence that the first time the In-Between becomes explicitly suspicious is when Karl is taken to a time where the possible tale that could be created contains no knowledge to be recorded and remembered. Nothing there in that mansion (besides navigating mazes??? idk) could even help Karl out save his friends. Isn’t that odd? Remember that Karl has no control over his time traveling!

Whoever’s writing against the Castle knows how the In Between works and how it treats its chosen time travelers. We might get new stuff during the next After the Tales stream, which would be after Karl’s break. Who knows? As far as I know, I think the tale was fun and interesting, and I believe so for the conclusions I made above.
