There’s so much potential for Lukadrien angst in the next season.
Adrien just experienced so much and I’m sure he’d love to talk to someone about his problems in relation to being a Miraculous holder and who’s better to talk to about these problems other than Paris’s best therapist and guitarist, Luka Couffaine

I think the thing I'm most upset about from the season 5 finale is the fact that even with all the power and opportunities of reality right in his hands, Gabriel Agreste still chose SUICIDE and to leave Adrien fatherless in the world.
Gabriel didn't had to kill himself. He could have chosen anything else to actually make them a happy and complete family again. To undo all the grief and pain that plagued their little family ever since Emilie fell ill.
Gabriel could have taken all that away, but no...
Now Emilie is the one grieving her spouse and Adrien is once again grieving a parent. Just this time around it's even worse because he will most likely blame himself for his father's death because Gabriel's cover story in the new reality is that he heroically died fighting by Ladybug's side because Chat Noir wasn't there and Gabriel as the only adult member of the Resistance - and most importantly kidnapped Adrien Agreste's FATHER - stepped in to help Ladybug when no one else did/could
I have.. I can't - I...
He committed suicide. Gabriel Agreste committed suicide and left a grieving wife and child behind, of whom his SON will now think his father died trying to save him and stop Monarque. Which will 100% have been in vain.
I just don't know what to say. I think this is one of the most selfish suicides I've ever seen in media. He could have done ANYTHING. He could have even changed something about HIMSELF if Gabriel was so unhappy with himself.
He had all the options here. All the power to change anything he desired about their entire reality to make them a happy family again. And he used it to commit suicide to become a martyr his grieving child can for the rest of Adrien's life wither away looking up to, trying to 'measure up' to the hero Gabriel Agreste never was but forced his son to believe to be true anyway...

Re-creation Rewrite for The Lost Miraculous:
SPOILERS FOR THE S5 FINALE!
1. Gabriel will not redeem, Adrien will find out the truth, and vows to never be like his dad. He also gets disowned by Adrien and is put in jail where he belongs.
2. Félix will also not redeem, and Adrien calls him out and disowns him for all the pain and misery he has cause to not only him but his friends as well. Oh and Kagami will tell him to fuck off because getting them together was stupid and pointless.
3. Chloé will be the temporary Guardian of the Australian Miracle Box because Don Undra will be going on "vacation" for a while (i.e. Africa and Brazil) and he needs someone to run the shop while he's gone. Chloé does know what he means by vacation, but she doesn't say anything.
4. Aurore, Mireille, and Wayhem will become members of the team with their Australian Miraculouses, but under Chloé's guidance. The other Australian Miraculouses will be used by the French Miraculous team, but only for emergencies or when necessary.
5. Nathalie adopts Adrien and tells him that she does feel remorse for what she has done with Gabriel and only wanted him to be happy for her sake. Adrien believes her, but also tells her he doesn't forgive her. Which she understands.
Adrien: "My mother may have want me to forgive you, but I can't right now, Nathalie. I'm truly sorry."
Nathalie: "It’s gonna take a while for me to atone for this sin. I understand. It’s no one's fault, but mine and your father's."
6. Félix does meet Lila (Yeah no, she's not Cerise or whatever bullshit they came up with, she will always be Lila) and seeing how he failed to get what he wanted, Lila with the Butterfly Miraculous teams with him as Argos and her as (depending on what her name will, but for now, Imma just use my fan name for her) Lady Falena.
Lila: "And together, we'll stop not just Ladybug and her allies, but also all the miraculous holders in the world. New York, Shanghai, you name it. All the Miraculouses and its other sources of power will be ours and ours forever!"
Félix: (smiles evilly) "I like that very much, partner."
(Both reach out their hands and shake them)

wait so are Luka, Jagged, Penny, Fang, and Su-han in two places at once now? bc it takes time to gain the skills Luka, Jagged, and Penny were displaying, and what a coincidence, they were fetched from—Rio, I hear?—by the superhero of time travel

In defense of Mlb’s season 5 final
I’ve seen a lot of discourse over how this season ended and while I understand and respect that people didn't like it, I vehemently disagree with the arguments made against these episodes.
Argument 1: ‘They redeemed Gabriel/ let Gabriel win’
While I do get why people see it that way, this is just flat-out wrong in my opinion. The whole scene with him being celebrated as a hero was meant to be unsettling and is setting up for future conflict in season 6. Having Adrien struggle with the conflicting feelings of knowing that Gabriel was an awful and abusive father while simultaneously being told that his abuser ‘was a hero who helped defeat monarch’ is massive story potential in my eyes.
As for the second half of the argument, Gabriel didn't win either, Gabriel’s entire goal was to bring Emilie back so that their family could be whole again. Instead he ended up realizing that Emilie not only did not want to be brought back but that he also ruined the chance of fulfilling her dying wish (for him to move on and take care of Adrien), and how did he react to this? He killed himself. He DID NOT nobly sacrifice himself as many are claiming.
He couldn’t bear living in a world without Emilie and he was too much of a deadbeat to care for his son, so SELFISHLY he killed himself.
Now, I’m a firm believer the woman in the final scene was Amelie, not Emilie. Instead of bringing Emilie back, he simply transferred Nathalie’s illness to himself so that he could join Emilie in the afterlife. He was a selfish coward who very nearly ruined his son’s life and then left his assistant to pick up the pieces. That is NOT a redemption.
Argument 2: ‘Marinette was shocked by Gabriel being Monarch, thus nullifying the events of Representation’
Marinette did in fact know Gabriel was Hawkmoth and was simply shocked at seeing it in real life. I would have reacted the exact same way tbh. I’m seriously surprised nobody else seems to have experienced the phenomenon of being shocked by information they already knew. Let me tell you right now, it happens, and considering the nature of knowing her boyfriend’s dad is a terrorist, I don’t blame her.
Argument 3: ‘Marinette was not taking the reveal in representation seriously and instead focused on her problems with Adrien being in London’
Keep in mind that this episode takes place a singular day after representation. Marinette was most likely still in shock due to this information. It’s also possible she didn’t completely believe it considering Felix has proved time and time again, to be an unreliable source and someone who couldn’t be trusted.
In terms of her focusing on her problems regarding Adrien, this was ENTIRELY due to the effects of the nightmare created by akuma Gabe (I forgot what he was called lmao), that is shown to cause people to act illogically.
Argument 4: ‘The citizens were dumbed down’
I’ve seen a lot of people complaining about the citizens reactions to Adrien and Kagami being kidnapped by Ladybug and Chat Noir. This goes back to the effects of Gabriel’s nightmare, I personally believe that the nightmare wasn’t as similar to sandboy as people seem to think it is. It shown to affects a person’s mental and emotional state, causing them to act irrationally towards anything that even slightly upsets them. Despite the fact that a few seconds of thinking would have led them to the conclusion that the kidnapping was not real considering the AI tech this universe has, it’s clear people did not take the few seconds to reach that conclusion. They were in a state of fear and panic, they were being soothed by their alliances and then that was harshly ripped away from them. Due to the shock and fear, the general population acted on impulse, leaving only people like Alya who have a personal connection to Ladybug and Chat Noir, with the ability to resist.
Argument 5: ‘Adrien was sidelined’
This is probably the only area where I kind of agree with the feelings of the argument. I wish Adrien had been more involved in this final. However, I feel it was necessary for the sake of the story arch set up for season six, that he wasn’t.
If we look at the way the show has set up Marinette and Adrien’s narratives, it’s clear that Marinette’s fight is a Man vs. Man physical fight against a terrorist. This is exactly what we received from her in the final.
On the other hand, Adrien’s narrative is less about fighting the forces of evil and more about advocating for himself, gaining his freedom, working towards self acceptance, and healing from his past traumas. The show does not want you to look at Adrien as a fierce fighter, and that’s okay.
What’s different about Adrien’s narrative, is that unlike Ladybug’s his was left unresolved.
Adrien’a story is about fighting for his freedom, and yet all of the people around him have been keeping him in the dark (something the show has never once framed in a positive light), inhibiting his ability to be free. Adrien’s story is about self acceptance and yet at the end of the episode he says he’s unsure if he’ll ever live up to his father. Adrien’s story is about healing from past trauma and yet the lie of Gabriel’s heroism is inhibiting him from doing just that.
As much as I wish that we had seen Adrien doing something out there, even if it wasn’t fighting Monarch, I believe that by having him not, the show as set up for a fascinating follow up season, and I have never been more excited.
Disclaimer: I’m not trying to claim people who disliked the episodes are wrong for doing so, nor do I think my opinion is the “correct” opinion to have. I’m simply sharing my take on the episode

Why Bunnyx did not intervene?
The entire point of Bunnyx is to be the Last Line of Defense towards World-ending/Universe-ending threats, right?
So she intervened against Cat Blanc (Infinite Destruction, so it makes sense - although she left the majority of the fight to Ladybug) and against Timetagger (a timeline-changing akuma, it makes sense too)... but why she did not intervene when Felix gave the Miraculi to Gabriel or when Gabriel was about the make his Wish???
Even if one is to argue that the Strikeback Event needed to happen so Bunnyx could exist, the entire destruction/re-creation of the Universe through Gabriel's Wish should the very thing that Bunnyx should have intervened to prevent...

Im starting to wonder if it was the SUPREME that Lila/Cerise/Iris saw…
I thought about the same thing !! Maybe what Lila saw at the end of Re-creation that scared her so much was the version of the Supreme from Chat Noir and Ladybug world and not the one from the Re verse
Unless the Supreme in the Reverse world is a corrupted Master Fu, but then Hesperia called the supreme an "evil entity" in the french dubbage.
I thought that even if Cerise is in possession of a secret that could damage the relationship between Adrichat and Maribug, or even if she had really discovered Ladybug's true identity during Bug Noir final fight against Monarch, the presence of Bunnix in Ladybug's ranks could easily foil Cerise's future plans.
Also, Cerise/Lila/Iris doesn't seem to have the same financial and material resources as Gabriel, and without allies at her side, Lila/Cerise/Iris would have a hard time gaining the ascendancy of the miraclous team if she's all on her own. Even if she were to manage to create tensions and divide the team, Ladybug would still at least have Argos, Viperion, Ryuko and Bunnix on her side.
things would also be way more difficult for Chrysallis's akuma against Ladybug and Cat Noir since they can use the lucky charm and the cataclysm as many times as they want and without detransforming.
But if Lila came to have ally like the Supreme to support her, the scales would tip.

What refusing to take the L does to a Marinette or Ladybug.
Proceeding evolving into betraying:
Everyone who stood by her
Who's been loyal to her and put their trust in her
The many inspired or encouraged by her
What she represents
And especially Adrien/Cat Noir

I can't stop thinking about how Garbiel most definitely pulled the biggest fuck everyone when making that wish. There is no possible way he brought back Emilie for Adrien. I just don't believe it. He has don't nothing but manipulate everyone with no remorse.
Why wouldn't he do it one last time. We know for a fact he has lost his mind because of using all ther miraculous so why would we think a crazy man would do something for the greater good.
He 10000% selfish in his wish and that will come back to haunt us all.

So anyone is going to talk about how Adrien probably thinks his father used the cat miraculous to help LB and in Adrien's head Gabe died as a middle-aged dude in a leather catsuit? No? ok then

So I have been seeing the occasional post about whether or not Marinette keeping the "your dad is Hawkmoth/Shadowmoth/monarch" Secret from Adrien was the right thing or not but I feel like we're all sort of glossing over the one secret that could be the difference between life and death or even worse for Adrien.
out of everything being withheld from him, he desperately needs to know that he is a sentimonster and that his free will, and his life can be taken away at a moment's notice if anything happens to his parents' wedding rings.
Till he knows the truth about that, he's basically unknowingly playing a game of Russian Roulette.

I don't think I will ever get over the fact that Adrinette's Disney Sleeping Beauty romance was in actuality an adaptation of the Maleficent remake where the prince is basically useless and Maleficent saves and wakes Aurora up by the power of parental love herself (although, A+ subversion. I didn't see that one coming lol)
Marinette did not save Adrien. She never did. All she did was giving Gabriel the motivation to use the wish for Adrien for which Gabriel had to trick and betray Marinette and straight up win, and during the wish process GABRIEL made the decision to take of the rings and leave them with Marinette instead of just making it a part of the wish that Adrien gets them immediately, Nathalie, Emilie/Amilie or for Adrien to not be a Sentihuman at all anymore.
Gabriel was the one who brought the peacock miraculous into their lives which put enslavement device into Adrien's existence and he also chose to not remove it.
Gabriel merely was the one who decided to let Adrien go. Marinette didn't do any saving here. Unless you wanna tell me that her not withholding Adrien's amoks from him and abusing and controlling him through them herself somehow counts as "saving him".
All Marinette did was kissing Adrien awake after Gabriel already saved him and brought him back into a save home. Gabriel basically did all the work but let Marinette have the credit. That's it.
I don't know what you want to hear but in my opinion Marinette and feminism deserve more than demanding worshipping for gender subversion when Marinette basically didn't do any actual saving in these 5 seasons and therefore everything amouts to lip-service.
Sorry that I don't think lip-service is enough, your low standards are your problem. I'm gonna watch the next 3 seasons to hopefully see Marinette actually be allowed to save Adrien (and the other Sentihumans and Kwamis) from their magical enslavement, same as I'm not going to celebrate Marinette as the sole savior and most amazing hero of all time based of the lip-service lie of her having defeated Monarque when she in fact fucking lost and Gabriel got his wish but decided to play nice enough for now.
I'm woman enough to request that my female empowerment characters actually win and do the deed to be celebrated for it. The villain doing the heros work like this isn't a win for the hero, it's plain stupid luck.
I always wanted to call Marinette Adrien's savior and the greatest heroine ever too but for that she actually has to do it and not being given it by the villain based on lies.
Marinette has the potential to be called those two things and that's what I hope will happen by the end of the last 3 seasons. Marinette actually defeating Lila as the new butterfly villain and saving not only her prince from enslavement but the Kwamis and other Sentihumans/ Sentibeings too.
Doing more than glorifying lip-service shouldn't be too much to ask for right?
