My fearless MLB predictions
We all need a little fun right now. So here are my fearless predictions for the upcoming baseball season.
It’s time for everyone to make their predictions for the upcoming Major League Baseball season. I can be like everyone else and just predict the winners. But where’s the fun in that, especially predicting the NL Central? (Cardinals again. Yawn.) I have specific questions about the upcoming season, along with my predictions for them. Will the Angels keep Ohtani? God, I hope so. But we know Shohei…

Cursed thought:
Early in season 6, someone asks Adrien why he's wearing his dead parents' wedding rings, and he goes, "my girlfriend told me to, off screen. It's because they're magic and can be used to control or destroy me. Are you familiar with sentimonsters? I'm one of them. No, it's not a big deal, it's just like how Rose always has to carry her medication everywhere she goes."
And that's it. The sentimonster stuff is never brought up again.
To be clear, I don't expect it to happen. 45% chance at most. But I'd absolutely love to see the fandom reaction if it did happen.

Now i know the movie is still a thing but what are people going to shipp now that gabe is dead? Eminath or Amenath?
Ooh I like this question.
Honestly, I can see quite the variety of both Amenath and Eminath shippers arising, but I’ve got to say I predict Eminath will probably take the cake as the preferred ship. It’s definitely more popular (in my opinion) compared to Amenath and has gained a lot of traction since the season 5 final.
Now as for me personally I can see the likes of both ships, though I think Amelie is a total queen and I lowkey ship her and Nathalie myself, though my thoughts may change when we finally get to meet and learn more about Emilie in season 6.
Regardless all I really want is for Nathalie to have a happy ending. She deserves it.

Clone Colony pt 1
× Not mlb seasons 4-5 or special compliant. × Lore will be sprinkled throught the series, there will be a few things similar to other fics I'm working on (like Marinette and Adrien being trained by some heroes that I'm not gonna outright tell you just yet)
It had taken some time, but two years after Hawkmoth appeared, he was defeated. Adrien and Marinette had never gotten together, after so long pining they had moved on. Adrien was moving to somewhere in the US with his new guardians. Marinette's days now consisted of commissions, occasional patrols and making up for lost time with her friends. It was difficult to have spontaneous friend outings or last minute commissions with her hectic schedule, but she made it work.
Despite this, Marinette did have some free time. It was rare, short and occasionally used to catastrophize, but she did have some. That being said, using her free time over the past couple of months checking on and spending time with a girl a year younger than her was not the plan.
Slowly making more and more time for her was also not part of the plan, neither was starting to mentally call her 'lil sis'.
She had shiny black hair, and wide wonder-filled ocean-blue eyes. She was missing a tooth, but she smiled brightly and unashamedly. She always wore a blue hoodie that dwarfed her, as well as a red beanie. She was just a little too skinny, almost like she was barely having enough food every day. Her name was Ellie.
Ellie loved exploring and Marinette learned that she had moved around a lot. Marinette would patiently listen to Ellie ramble about the cultures, architecture, and people she'd seen. In turn Ellie listened to Marinette talk about fashion for hours on end. Hearing Ellie's stories inspired Marinette, and her rambles gave Ellie a new appreciation for different cultures' clothing.
That being said, finding her park buddy crying by their usual bench really worried Marinette...
Marinette carefully approached the shaking form of Ellie. She crouched in front of the crying girl.
"Ellie, it's me, Marinette." Her voice was quiet and soft, but Marinette saw Ellie stiffen. Marinette looked around the park, and noticed a few kids staring at them. "El, do you want to go somewhere private?"
Ellie peeked up at her. Her head bobbed up and down weakly. Marinette helped Ellie stand, and sent a reassuring smile at the worried kids. (And maybe a tiny glare at the ones laughing.) Marinette wrapped an arm around Ellie slowly, making sure she had plenty of time to pull away. Ellie tensed when she saw the arm; Marinette almost pulled away, until Ellie relaxed against Marinette.
"Do you want to go to Danny's Icecream Parlor, or my house?" Ellie flinched. She hugged Marinette tighter, and Marinette thanked the kwami that she spent so much time as Ladybug comforting people. (And so many akumas slowly having her lungs crushed)
"Your place please." Ellie whispered. They slowly made their way in through the back entrance of the bakery. Marinette led her to the living room. They sat in silence on the white couch for a minute. The sobbing lightened slowly.
"Did you want to talk about it or do you just want hugs?"
Ellie slowly shifted so she could see Marinette's face. After some time she began to talk again.
"I miss them."
"Miss who?" Marinette asked as she rubbed Ellie's shoulder.
"My brother and sister.....thei- our friends." She shut her eyes tightly. A few more tears leaked through her closed eyes. "-and, and I wish...."
Marinette sat patiently. Marinette calmly held Ellie as Ellie sorted through her thoughts. Ellie opened her eyes.
"I wish I had parents o-or a home to return to." The desperation in her voice and longing in her eyes broke Marinette. Ellie didn't stop, couldn't stop once she started. "I- I love traveling, but I hear these peoples' stories and so many of them include family and friends....I can't be near my siblings or friends because it's dangerous....and honestly? There are too many bad memories there."
Ellie took in a deep, shaky breath.
"And there are so many things I don't know or understand and I don't know who to go to. I don't know what to do." She cried in anguish and hugged Marinette harder.
🐞👻🐞👻🐞👻🐞👻🐞👻🐞👻🐞👻🐞👻🐞👻
Thats where Sabine found them several hours later, Marinette tightly hugging a girl she'd never seen before. They slept soundly other than the occasional strained sound or snore from their sleeping bodies. Sabine carefully shook Marinette awake.
"Băobăo¹ who is this?" Sabine asked her sleepy daughter. Weakly, Marinette rose her head and blinked the sleep from her eyes. She looked around the room wearily before understanding lit up her eyes.
"Ellie, the girl from the park...." Marinette's eyes became misty and panicked as she looked up at Sabine. "She- she's homeless maman². She's so scared- and she has nobody! I- I didn't realize, why didn't I realize?"
Sabine placed a hand on Marinette's shoulder.
"Băobăo, breathe. Sometimes these things aren't obvious." Sabine soothed as she kneeled in front of Marinette and the still sleeping Ellie.
"But I'm-" Marinette started before trailing off.
'I'm Ladybug. I'm supposed to help people.' She thought forlornly.
"Just because you're her friend, doesn't mean you'll know everything." Sabine gently reminded her. Marinette sighed and swallowed thickly.
"I know, but how do I help? Do you think the Happyfeets will take in Ellie after they already took in Adrien?" Marinette asked. Sabine sighed.
"Marinette, I don't think the 'Happyfeets', as you put it, can take in every stray person you emotionally adopt as your own." Sabine lifted an eyebrow at Marinette. Sabine saw her daughter deflate and her heart broke. "We'll do everything we can to help her."
".....Can't we take her in?" Marinette asked hopefully. She sent pleading eyes towards Sabine. Sabine gave Marinette a sympathetic look.
"We don't have enough room, and you know it....we can let her stay on the couch for now, but she needs her own space and stability."
Sabine thought she'd gotten through to her daughter until a familiar determined spark lit up her bluebell eyes.
"We could share my room!" She declared. Sabine was baffled.
"You'd have to give up some of your space and privacy."
"Helping Ellie is more important." Marinette insisted, though there was a slight hesitation. Sabine huffed in exasperation. She turned towards Tom as he came up the stairs. She waved for him to come over.
"Tom, talk some sense into our daughter." After catching Tom up to speed, he couldn't help but agree with Marinette.
"YES!" Marinette shouted, wincing when Ellie shifted. Tom chuckled.
"Tom, are you sure this is best?" Sabine asked sternly. Tom's chuckles turned more awkward.
"We're always telling her to help others!" He defended. Sabine shook her head. Her mouth ticked upwards despite her slight displeasure.
"IF Ellie wants to, we can try." Marinette fist pumped and smiled gratefully at her maman. Tom cheered and picked Sabine up to twirl her around. Tom went silent when it began to look like Ellie was going to wake up. Gently, Tom pried Marinette away from Ellie.
"Thanks, papá³." Marinette whispered. Everyone turned back to Ellie when she whimpered and curled into a tight ball. An idea struck Marinette and she dashed upstairs. Tom and Sabine exchanged looks. When she returned she held a Ladybug doll that she placed between Ellie's arms.
"We should all go to sleep." Sabine suggested, before she turned to Marinette, "which means you aren't working on any commissions or anything else."
Marinette huffed. She reluctantly headed to bed after giving Tom and Sabine hugs goodnight.
"She sure is a load of trouble." Tom said with a grin as he wrapped an arm around Sabine.
"A load of trouble I'm proud of," Sabine said as she turned to her husband, "but she'd be a lot less trouble if you stopped siding with her..."
"I'm not taking anyone's side!" Sabine shook her head fondly. Husband and wife headed to bed, each mulling over the day's events.
¹Băobăo: baby in Mandarin can be used for one's children or romantic partner
²Maman: French for mom/mother.
³Papá: Italian for father
^(based on multiple sites, if wrong please correct me, this is going to be the case for all translations)
I just think Marinette knows random words/phrases/habits/customs from all the cultures she's been exposed to and researches her heritage when she actively thinks about it or how little she knows (which is rare because she is so busy and chaotic).

fyi this ask game is unfair b/c you've done a full psychoanalysis of every mlb character so technically ur the expert on all of them also you might secretly be a writer and/or the ability to see the future
*insert enneagram typing for characters rant here*
this is why i became obsessed with this show after season 3, i genuinely love the whole cast of mlb, especially their flaws! there's nothing that makes a character more appealing to me than predicting their downward spiral 💛
ask game: tell me what fictional character you consider me an expert on

Sorry if it feels like I'm spam posting... ANYWAYS we have three more kwamis for the third and outer ring of the Miracle Box.
Fluff, Longg, and Sass are another three kwamis that belong to the outer/third ring of the Chinese Miracle Box. For more information on this ring, visit my other post here.
First is Fluff: Fluff is the kwami of time and presents female. She wears an outfit inspired by the Sui dynasty. She only grants one power to her wielder, which is the ability to open portals through time. This is the "burrow" which leads to a multitude of realities and times that only Fluff and the wielder of the rabbit miraculous can safely navigate. Fluff has these powers, and she considers herself omnipresent because of her abilities. Fluff is very chaotic in the show so I really enhanced that for her. She's a spaz, constantly all over the place and speaks so fast that often it is hard to understand her. She's constantly talking, either to herself, or blabbing herr mouth off to anyone in earshot. She also has a bad habit of talking over people/not letting people speak. She's very superstitious, so topics like that are her favorite to talk about, even when they're ridiculous. She has... very big eyes so she always appears to be surprised or in awe with everything around her.
Fun fact: When she picks a wielder, they're always from any timeline but the present.
Next we have Longg: Longg is the kwami of perfection and presents androgynously. (They use he/she/they pronouns). His attire comes from the Qing dynasty, and yes, it's a feminine outfit. However, her voice is very masculine. They only grant one power to their wielder, which technically sounds like three when described. The wielder can turn into three types of dragons, air, water, and lightning. The dragon varies from dragon designs across many eastern/asian cultures, but dominantly Chinese inspired. Longg has these powers himself, but much more powerfully and can even switch to dragons of other elements such as fire or ice. Longg kinda has a noble dude vibe in the show and I completely obliterated that. Though she does have a very high esteem of her culture, particularly more ancient practices, she's much less noble and more of a trouble maker. Yes, despite being the kwami of perfection, they're often mischievous or punky. Like Tikki, Longg has very strict rules for picking the wielder of the dragon miraculous, though he tends to be biased about it and would rather pick a trans person over a cisgender person, for no other reason than he just wants someone with the same vibe as him. (She's not cisphobic... if that's a thing).
Fun fact: Longg can switch their body type ever so slightly to range from a more masc appearance to a more fem look whenever they please.
Lastly, my beautiful boy Sass: Sass is the kwami of intuition and presents as male. He wears a hanfu from the Tang dynasty. He only grants one power to his wielder, Second Chance, which is the ability to go back to a "check point" in time within certain limits. This is good for fixing errors that may have occurred during a fight, but also may trap the wielder of the snake miraculous in a time loop if they keep having to use it. Sass has this ability of course, though he rarely ever uses it. I kept his personality similar to what's canon in the show. He's very leaderly and big on maintaining order. He likes to have control over things, and he despises chaos. He has a resting bitch face, which makes him look incredibly irritable all the time. Though he's basically the leader of all the other kwamis, he doesn't speak that much and chooses his words carefully when he does.
Fun fact: He loves music and can play a wide variety of instruments.

Talking about Season Six Reveal I think it is at least Half Going to Happen
Major spoilers ahead only proceed if you have seen the finale or do not care about spoilers
So Marinette is going to want to tell Adrien about his father being Hawkmoth and him sacrificing himself and everything. She is going to struggle over telling him this and how to tell him it is still Marinette, but just when she is about to tell him something the fandom has already figured will happen. Marinette hears Emilie humming a familiar tune and her heart stops.
Tumblr media
She has heard that song before nervous and wanting to be wrong she ask Emilie about the song.
Emilie confirms what some have guessed that she sand the song to Adrien when he felt lonely and that the song is unique that she wrote it for him. Cats out of the bag a big problem has emerged for Marinette.
She could tell Adrien the truth that she gave Gabriel a chance and that Gabriel sacrificed himself for Adrien and Emilie and Natilie because he was Hawk Moth and he was dying from the Cataclysm that Adrien/Chat Noir had given him. This will delay the truth and will make life really tough and dramatic for Marinette.
Or Adrien came up with those lyrics himself and it is his own song and I'm just wrong here.

Ok listen. Listen. I have a very unlikely Miraculous Ladybug Season 6 prediction.
What if Gabriel wished for Adrien to be fully human instead of a senti. Due to the whole equivalent exchange thing, Marinette is now a senti and the rings control her. When she gave Adrien the rings, obviously neither of them would have realized this, and they slowly figure it out over the course of s6 as Adrien or Cat Noir give her commands by accident à la Ella Enchanted. Maybe as a cherry on top, Marinette realizes that Adrien and Cat Noir are the same person because they're the only ones whose commands she has to obey. Maybe by the end of the season they've each got one of the rings. ;) (Though I am NOT expecting them to be engaged haha.) No idea if this would even work because with the Wish I'm not sure if it rewrites the world so that the changed this was the case all along (e.g. if it would mean that Marinette's parents in recreated world would have used the Peacock) or if it can change details in a more immediate way. I also think Gabriel said that he only wished for one thing??? iirc. Which might be a strike against my theory.

By Dave Zirin, MSNBC Opinion Columnist
Where are the male athletes standing up for WNBA superstar Brittney Griner? Between Russia’s war on Ukraine and the near-complete breakdown of diplomatic ties between the United States and Russia, Griner has become a Russian pawn. And despite WNBA players showing solidarity with male athletes as they protested racist police violence, as the women’s league works to raise awareness for Griner’s plight, their male counterparts and the male-dominated sports media have been disturbingly quiet.
Griner appeared in a Russian court May 13, but in a development that seemed as predictable as the setting sun, her pretrial detention was extended another month. The U.S. and Russia exchanged prisoners late last month, and experts say Russia still desires the release of notorious Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout, “the Merchant of Death,” who’s serving a 25-year sentence in the United States. Russia is mercilessly allowing Griner to twist in the wind as she awaits a fate that could include a 10-year prison sentence. It is a dire situation, and the WNBA is fighting to get Griner home. The league’s fight follows two months of silence requested by the U.S. State Department and Griner’s wife, Cherelle, as the U.S. attempted to negotiate with Russia. But now that the State Department has declared that Griner has been “wrongfully detained,” the players are speaking out.
Some of the most prominent athletes in the league — for example, Seattle Storm superstar Breanna Stewart — are appearing on news programs, tweeting and speaking to reporters after games about Griner's plight. They are doing exactly what they should be doing: raising the temperature on the State Department and demanding that it use whatever back-channel options still remain with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s regime to “bring Brittney home.” In addition, the WNBA has a decal in tribute to Griner on every court and is donating to Griner’s charitable foundation.
But it looks like the men’s league and most sports media outlets cannot be bothered with what ought to be the biggest story in the sports world. As for sports media outlets, it’s hard not to conclude that just as they give women’s sports short shrift in their programming — less coverage, less debate, fewer highlights — so, too, have they made Griner’s story an afterthought. Do we doubt for a single, solitary second that if Tom Brady were in a Russian prison at such a perilous time that it wouldn’t be a daily story? Can anybody argue that there wouldn’t be a graphic on the screen keeping track of how many days he’s been in detention and separated from his family on the other side of the world?
While the inaction of mainstream sports media has been drearily predictable, the silence from male athletes has been most disheartening. The Phoenix Suns, who’ve been eliminated from the NBA playoffs were, by my count, the lone exception. Coach Monty Williams spoke out. Point guard Chris Paul showed up to a playoff game against the Dallas Mavericks ready to discuss Griner.
“This isn’t just an NBA or WNBA thing,” Paul said. “I think everybody wants her home. She’s a huge part of the community here. We all support her and just want to try to get her home as soon as possible. It was all in support of BG. We miss her.”
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said Tuesday he’s working with WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert to win Griner’s release and that the NBA’s previous silence was advised by experts. But seemingly that’s no longer the advice, and, still, the NBA’s stars have been mostly silent.
Between 2012 and 2020 when male athletes spoke out against racist police violence in unprecedented numbers, WNBA players did more than offer support and solidarity: They were leaders. Colin Kaepernick protested racial injustice during the playing of the national anthem in August 2016, but WNBA players had protested racial injustice earlier that summer. When the sports world was reeling from the pandemic and the police murder of George Floyd, the women of the WNBA campaigned hard for the Rev. Raphael Warnock, who at the time was running against then-WNBA franchise owner and Donald Trump supporter Kelly Loeffler to represent Georgia in the Senate. It is not an exaggeration to say those WNBA activists played a role in tipping the entire balance of power by helping Democrats win a majority in the U.S. Senate.
Over the last few years, male athletes have given props to the athletes of the WNBA and reminded the public that the leadership of those women was indispensable. But true solidarity is a two-way street. Every male athlete who benefited from and praised the WNBA players’ leadership and courage should be showing leadership themselves and speaking up for Griner. Their seemingly blithe disregard is the ultimate disrespect.
There’s still time for the men in the sports world to change course, but if they don’t use their galactic platforms to amplify Griner’s case, they will be making a terrible choice. They may find themselves needing allies in the years ahead and wondering why the typically outspoken activists in the WNBA community are nowhere to be found.

I’ve seen the poster about season finale,… I made a prediction a loooong time ago. I think the title was “A theory that if i’m right will have the fandom cry”, or something like that. It was about why i thought Adrien was a sentibeing (back then it still wasn’t confirmed), i made a comparison with what happened to Mamoru (Darien) in Sailor Moon season 5. The absence of Chat Noir may be explained by many reasons, but i have a hunch i may be right.
