Honestly a big problem with Raya and the Last Dragon is that it constantly brings up "trust" but it never really goes into "earning trust" because yeah, Sisu talks about how you should put your faith in people to do right but that doesn't work when none of the people responsible for everything wrong helped fix the problem. The world was divided not because of paranoia, which would make sense, but a lust for power and I can't imagine anybody just... putting their trust in the power hungry because that never works out. Trust should be earned, nothing about that with this film felt earned.

Namaari betrayed her, Raya has a right not to trust her. I can't imagine her believing Namaari would ever be trustworthy when Namaari's done little to show her that. Namaari's never given any reason to just trust Raya either so I'm not to believe they ever would have like it's that easy, after so many years. They only trust each other at the end because they had nothing else to lose. Nobody beyond the right people Raya encountered by happenstance showed having trust is viable for saving the world. As somebody that's been cheated and lied to enough times, I can't buy the idea of trust when it's apparently a last resort or a dime dealt chance at best.

Raya's hardly blameless for what she does and the only reason the others joined her and Sisu initially was because she either bribed them or in Tong's case, he had nothing else. It feels lucky enough that Raya is nice and selfless enough that they could trust her so easily.

Just saying, this is not a great film for those with genuine trust issues like me. This doesn't do well with exhibiting the virtue of trust when Raya is basically proven right more often than not yet is constantly chewed out because she's overtly not immediately trusting.

I just want a well written Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game with the 3D open world design of Poke Park or Xenoblade.

First time seeing a live concert in a long while. A jolly good one and it’s no doubt a remarkable enough flex for Toby this day for a stage wide orchestra to perform his music. Pretty amazing through and through.

This is somehow reminding me of Priscilla Queen of the Desert. That's in no way bad, it's a hopeful yet out there vibe for this upcoming movie.

Honestly thinking of it, ever thought of how these two share the same energy? Like we never see it but can you not imagine Crash becoming as pissed off as Ed when a pebble was in his shoe?

Honestly Wolfwalkers did Pixar's Brave but better. Both get the relationship between a girl & her parent down just right but Wolfwalkers handles its other external conflicts better where the film isn't as open ended as Brave, especially when it comes to one's fate.

The Lord Protector honestly serves as a more pressuring threat than Mordeu and when Robyn finally transform into a wolf, it never feels like the tone shifted too much like Brave did. Wolfwalkers never feels like it sits on anything or throws too much into the pot.

Honestly I'm not excited for Space Jam 2. Not that I think it'll be a complete flop or something, I don't hate it, I've just been burned one too many times with live-action/animated hybrids and I'm scared. It's like do I deserved to be hyped because it's Space Jam 2?

I have some reason to believe Blue Sky was shut down because productivity wasn't turning out as much as Pixar, Marvel, and Disney itself. They weren't as present in the market pumping out films year after year & wasn't performing as well. This at least explains why you saw other studios like Marvel, Lucasfilm, and Pixar having so many upcoming projects slated. If they didn't, they were gonna be marked for death as well.

Spies in Disguise was two years ago, didn't get much, so they thought it was better to just shut things down than to risk keeping the studio going with Nimona that wouldn't be finished & released until 2022 meanwhile everyone else was dropping something every year. BS was too much the odd one out for Disney to think it was worth keeping.

And it's probably me, but I can't help but believe Disney could keep the studio going for a couple more years but like a horse with one shunt leg, it felt like the easier and safer route since this didn't mean the studio's people was full on out a job. So in their eyes, no harm was really done with this move. The business favors the vision far more than whoever makes them.

So the people behind Rise of the TMNT made this kinda bad film about a boy who transforms into a werepoodle that has a scene where he pees all over the place for 30 seconds straight. Now that film has a series too and I feel confused

Bad soup

The following was my live reaction to this diet based soup making video. Caution for extreme anger.

So it's a cabbage soup. Not a fan of cabbage but let's see where this goes. Side note, there is legit no food you can eat that'll just make you lose weight no matter how much you eat it.

This immediately scares me. First of all, this will smell rancid especially if you plan to use onion soup mix on top of two whole onions. You don't even need onion soup mix if you having stock with whole ass onions. Secondly, this will definitely make you poop.

Okay, do not just throw the tomatoes in first. You gotta mince the garlic and dice the onions. Those go in before anything, especially w/ a light oil so they don't stick. Sauteed them shits before ANYTHING else, I swear to god.

I don't even need to tell you that if you see the video, that is not how you drain canned tomatoes and if you try this exactly, I hope your ass ruptures like a geyser.

Holy shit, this just got worse. You don't even need the soup mix. They have bottles of onion flakes you can put in with the stock.

And I realized. I just realized he ain't even got the heat on! WHAT THE FUCK?!!! YOU CAN'T JUST put stuff in before you heat it. That's like microwaving a chicken to dethaw it.

YOU DON'T PUT THE BOUILLION CUBES IN THE DAMN POT! ESPECIALLY IF THE WATER AIN'T HOT! THAT'S NOT HOW YOU DO STOCK. That's just water with crumbs of the cube in. If I see you do this, I swear to god I'm destroying you.

oh my god, this literally looks like watered down vegetables with dollar store hot sauce to color it red. I feel kinda disgusted. It doesn't look bad but I swear this is not how you do it. I feel like I popped a vessel from this video. This video is genuine cancer, as in you will fuck up your body if you follow these horrendous instructions. You don't even need a ton of cabbage, beans or zucchini does the job better. Seasonings does the job better. This can certainly be a diet meal, but your ass deserves nightmare if you make it like this. This made my brain hurt; this was enough of an insult to my novice ass cooking skills.

There's something beautiful about getting McDonalds and eating it on the roof of the tallest parking lot you know. You truly see the world and while you know of how industrialized it's become, you look at how the trees still cover most of your city. From that, you feel like God. Not in the powerful sense, God as in the all seeing. You just look around and feel at peace that everything lives, even at a time where the look of death is prominent. You just see the world for what it is and feel like nothing's changed and you're okay with that.

It is like they say, a tree is nothing but a seed in its realized state, and the fact that from a high view trees still border the world with the skies far more than the tallest company buildings you probably catch without fail means that there's still good to be had with life.

There's a niche euphoria in being able to cook yourself four hamburgers at once. You barely have anything beyond a couple sauces and pickles, but you truly make that for yourself and it feels great.
