As a personal rule to myself, I left out 3 of our beloved polycules from last year because the next poll will be rare polyships, and I believe they fit that category. They will be returning there!

There will be revival rounds because I was unable to narrow the list down to 16, and I didn't want to exclude any other ships. So if a polyship you like loses their first poll, not all hope is lost!!

How To Train Your Owl || Haikyuu!! Tk Fic

A/N: Sister hello!! I have never written for these two lol, but their dynamic is honestly so adorable that I wish I did a fic on them sooner!! I hope you enioy!!

Summary: Bokuto is getting on Akaashi's nerves while his trying to practice, resorting to childish punishments for his childish senior.

The rest of the team had already left, leaving Akaashi and Bokuto in the gym to practice. Bokuto had the keys in his pocket so once they finished, he could lock it up and leave with his teammate.

What people in their team didn't know was their secret relationship. The two had been dating since they were in second camp, which no one had even caught them out on.

As Akaashi went to hit the ball, he took at glance at Bokuto and flushed as he winked at him, causing him to miss the ball, much to Bokuto's amusement. "Bokuto.. you distracted me again." Akaashi bit his tongue once he said that to hide his irritation, and Bokuto laughed, coming to his side of the net and wrapping an arm around him, bringing him close.

"Aww, what's wrong? Did I fluster you?" He teased, making kissy lips before making a yelp as Akaashi lightly shoved the ball at his face, making him pout playfully. "So cruel to your lover boy! I'm hurt!" He feigned sadness, making Akaashi shake his head with an amused smile, kissing his cheek. "There, better?" He asked, Bokuto making a quick mod with a satisfied smile, returning to the other side of the net.

As Akaashi went to set the ball, he glanced at the dual haired, his cheeks flushing and forgetting about the ball as Bokuto made a devious smirk at him. Okay, now he was doing this intentionally.

Akaashi gritted his teeth and let the volleyball roll away, he walked towards Bokuto, who raised his hands and laughed out of pure amusement. "Bokuto! You're doing this on purpose, this isn't practice anymore!" He huffed, Bokuto wiping a stray tear from how hard he was laughing. "Sorry! It's just so adorable seieng you blush over something so simple!"

That reply, however, set Akaashi off, as he backed Bokuto to the back of the cold gym walls, as he continued to laugh. "You wanna laugh? Fine, I'll give you a reason to laugh." And with that, hands descended upon the other, clawing motions towards his underarms, making the other practically howl, arm's clenching downwards defensively. "AH!? Akahahahashi! Please! Ihi'm sohohorry!"

"No, you aren't." Akaashi huffed, iritation spreading over his face, as Bokuto used a hand to quickly shove at him, only to regret it as louder laughter sparked out of him due to the younger speeding up his movement's, growing more strategic. "Akahashi! Okay! Yohour right! I'm nohot sorry! Buhut you are adoraHAHA- OH CHRIHIST!" He threw his head back, his body sliding down the gym wall, exposing himself, as he shivered once the cold walls hit his back, and Akaashi took full advantage of this situation. He darted his hands down and opted to massage his thumbs against his lower ribs towards Bokuto's side's, making him curl inwards, a loud yet adorable snort unsheathing itself from his lungs.

"Wow, you must've grown more ticklish then last time, hm? Ir is it the cold that's doing me a favour?" Akaashi pointed out, tracing his pinky against his side, making goosebumps erupt against Bokuto's skin, as he jerked around, frantically giggling and opting to shove at Akaashi, making a smug smile crawl over his features.

Goosebumps turned to full on belly laughter as Akaashi snuck a hand to reach down, squeezing and kneading deep circles against Bokuto's knee's, making him kick his leg out, his body becoming limp as he hugged himself, joyful tears brinking the corners of his eye's. "GAHAH!? Akaha-KASHI!! DAHAMN YOU!" He cackled, the smug smile turning into a soft one, as he stopped and laid himself ontop of him, resting his head against his shoulder and kissing his cheek, making him blush.

"You're cruel, you know that?" He laughed, wrapping a weak arm around the younger, kissing his forehead in return, making the other smile up at him, squirming and giggling as Bokuto playfully scribbled his side's for a moment, "Okay okahay! I aham!" Akaashi admitted, sighing in proud defeat as Bokuto stopped, the two just cuddling there for the time being until Bokuto recovered.

Well, actually yes.. they do keep me on track, you know sometimes I really get hard mood swings but the guys are nothing but cool about it baby owlet. It's good to still be able to feel like myself at least with my closest people. Other people just seems to notice the pro volleyball player, only a few notice the person and I like that... But I don't like us being apart for so long. I will compensate you these days baby. *he looks at you perplex* shouldn't it be funny, baby owlet? I like all that stuff about poses and different angles... I have quite the fun with it. *then he notices your second flirty remark and smiles, showing a cocky grin* Sure they enjoy muscles here baby owlet. You woke up with immense discomfort. Your eyes shoot open as you groan in pain. You feel the bed shifting as you proceed to curl into a ball on the bed. "Y/n.. is something wrong..?"

He saw the discomfort on your face as you proceed to move around in pain. "Hey.. hey. Are you okay?"

You look at him, trying to compose yourself from the pain. As you expect, you feel some wetness down there. You look at the bed sheet only to see it stained from a red substance.

"Hhh, why did I have to get it nowwww" You whisper, but loud enough for Akaashi to hear.

Hie eyes travel to the bedsheet, and he quickly understood the situtation. "...Are you on your period..?"

You groan and turn to the side "WELL WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE BABE"

He furrowed his eyebrows. He would always take care of you when you were on your period ever since you started dating, but so far, this might have to be the worst one. He didn't like seeing you in pain, in fact, he hates it. He would do anything to make you happy and safe.

He quickly got up and rushed to find where they had hid your pads/tampons (you can choose). Once he did, he went back to you and guided you towards the bathroom. He gave you the pads/tampons and let you have your privacy.

Around 7 minuets later you came out of the door. He hugged you once you went back to the bed for comfort, knowing you'll need it. You looked at the bed to see it clean. "He must've changed the bedsheet already." You thought.

"You need anything else?" He asked. You hummed in response.

"Maybe some food.. f/f I guess? I feel like having stuff from f/r." He reached for his phone and dialed a number. "Hi is this f/r? Hi yes.."

You smiled. You wondered how you could deserve such a perfect boyfriend.

Once he was done ordering, he looked back down to see you a big hug. He buried his face in the crook of your neck. You cuddled for a bit more, until the doorbell rang.

He got up the bed and came back with paper bags filled with food. Your eyes shone with stars as you saw what was inside. You quickly got the food out and started eating. Akaashi sat beside you and started eating as well.

The food finished quickly as you thanked Akaashi for the meal. He kissed your forehead and told you "Anything for you."

The both of you went back to cuddling. Akaashi started singing a song to you. It's something he does when the both of you are cuddling each other.

His soothing voice lulling you to sleep, all pain disappearing.

“And now, I hear

A symphony.”

He brushed your hair and kissed the back of your earlobe.

Izzy/Lucius/Black Pete:

Not Canon. Black Pete and Lucius are canon, though, and it is hinted at that their relationship might be open? At the very least Black Pete doesn't seem to care if Lucius sleeps or flirts with other people. Izzy joins the crew as very bossy trying to be a bit of a tyrant but the façade drops a bit once Lucius finally stands up to him. I like the idea of Lucius slowly breaking this wall Izzy has built, probably with teasing at first that Izzy starts to like more than he would ever admit. Once they fall in love, Black Pete is fully supportive of Lucius and welcomes Izzy as his metamour. I just think they're neat. Again this is based on season 1 stuff since I havent watched season 2.

Kenma/Kuroo/Bokuto/Akaashi:

Not Canon. The way they work for me is Kuroo/Kenma have been close friends since childhood and kinda just started dating around high school without any explicit confession from either of them, I think they just knew. Akaashi and Bokuto also have their own romance going on. If you've watched or read Haikyuu you know the amazing energy/dynamic that Kuroo and Bokuto share, and this is where the polycule would begin. Akaashi and Kenma are just friends/metamours, same goes for Akaashi&Kuroo or Kenma&Bokuto. Meanwhile Kuroo and Bokuto each have 2 boyfriends, including each other! This polycule has been near and dear to my heart for pretty much a decade now which makes me feel old but we won't dwell on that!!

so… I’ve always def thought about what the connection between unknown/SE saeran is in comparison to Ray and Suit… how do you think those are connected?

Like is Unknown just what became of Suit and Ray without MC’s intervention? Or just a different alter that isn’t explored during ray’s route?

Okay. I've explained this a few times but I'm always happy to do it some more. Ray and Suit Saeran are two separate people within the same system. I believe GE Saeran to be an unplanned fusion that is able to form after the events of Ray Route, making him made up of those two and becoming someone entirely new as well.

Unknown and SE Saeran are the same person, just pre-and-post the events of Common/Deep Routes as well as the Secret Ending. So, it means that he's the same person in that situation and it's not quite a similar situation to Another Story. You have to understand that a lot of people do not connect AS and SE.

Some people think they do not connect and exist in different worlds. So, that plays into how people write and look at Unknown, SE Saeran, and the Another Story boys. I'm someone that believes in connecting the two so that plays a lot into how I'm writing with the boys. I read into AS happening before the events of everything, but the difference is that—

Ray doesn’t get saved by finding an MC. 

He winds up working isolated and alone, until he can’t function anymore and it brings Suit Saeran to come out as Ray goes into dormancy and he doesn’t try to come back out at all. Suit Saeran manages to survive for quite a while on his own in Mint Eye because he thinks he’s strong in a way that will keep him alive and sound. 

But, the pressure eats away at him just as it ate away at Ray, and something happens during the two years before MC arrives to the apartment and those other routes have a chance of happening. Suit Saeran can’t function living that way forever, and because of this, a split occurs. He fractures and Unknown is born because of that emotional split. 

I do not see Suit Saeran and Unknown as the same person. Their actions and reactions simply do not correlate for me. Saeran is bound by emotion all of the time and Unknown simply lacks many emotions because Mint Eye drained him for a reason. Unknown comes to exist because neither Ray nor Saeran could let go of their hearts.

My theory is simply that. Unknown is born from a split from Suit Saeran. Now, because of this belief of mine, that’s why in my MC’s personal timeline that is connected to the SE, Ray and Suit Saeran actually resurface in the bunker at different times, revealing themselves to Unknown who had no clue that they were there. 

Meaning that Unknown wouldn’t come to exist if not for the fracture from Suit Saeran. So, Unknown, and by extension, SE Saeran, would not exist within the confines of Another Story where an MC comes in to be the tester for the game that Ray created. I hope this makes sense. I’ve never been able to see Suit Saeran and Unknown as the same person but I feel like they’re connected in this way, at least.
