Aksel grew up in Oslo, Norway to a Norwegian father, and American mother

They were raised bilingual English-Norwegian

They lived in Norway until their 10th birthday, their parents had made a pact that they would teach Aksel about both cultures, and to move from Norway to America whenever Aksel was old enough

Aksel is a very extroverted person, often chatting up everyone and everything

Aksel came out as nonbinary at the age of 21, never feeling comfortable enough to do it in school. They had one close friend who they trusted enough to tell, and that friend supported them throughout it all

Aksel's family was confused, but accepting. They all did their best to learn.

After coming out, Aksel would fully embrace themselves and step out of social gender norms, now more than ever embracing both femininity and masculinity

Aksel was pretty popular in high school, they were kind, talkative and they had something special; being born in Norway

On top of that Aksel was also always very active, participating in most things, being in lots of after school clubs (one being theater)

Aksel was never one to be a bully, not wanting people to feel left out they often tried to talk to almost everyone, which is how they met (Betty muse B), however what was supposed to be a lovely friendship turned into more for Aksel, they developed feelings for (Betty muse B), not being able to handle those feelings Aksel decided to ditch (Betty muse B) pushing them away until (Betty muse B) decided to cut all ties.

Even though it's been years, and Aksel has had some partners in between. They were never able to get over their feelings for (Betty muse B), not entirely at least, every so often wondering what could have potentially happened if they had not cast them out of their life

Hostel Jo&Joe ; 12er Zimmer: 31€/Nacht

Melange. Schonmal gehört? Also ich bisher nur als „Schoggi Mélange“, also als heisse Schokolage mit Schlagsahne. Die Wiener Melange ist jedoch eine österreichische Kaffeespezialität, die 1830 erstmals in Wien angeboten wurde. All dies lese ich jedoch erst nach, nachdem ich das ominöse Getränk aus der Kaffeemaschine beim Frühstücksbuffet rausgelassen hatte. Für mich, als normalerweise nicht-Kaffeetrinker, schmeckt es ganz einfach wie leckeren Kaffee. :-)

Gestärkt am 7€-Frühstücksbuffet des Hostels mache ich mich zu Fuss auf zum Schloss Schönbrunn, der Sommerresidenz der Habsburger. Es wurde für Kaiser Joseph I als Residenz gebaut und von Kaiserin Maria Theresia im 18. Jahrhundert zur Sommerresidenz umgebaut.

Das Schloss ist von riesengrossen Gärten sowie einem Aussichtspunkt - der Gloriette - umgeben. Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Örtchen, wo ich verweile, die Aussicht geniesse und mir die Füsse vertrete. Obwohl es noch vor 11 Uhr morgens ist, ist es jedoch schon überlaufen von Touristen. Diese stürmen jedoch mehrheitlich in die Räumlichkeiten hinein, sodass sich die Menschenmasse im grossen Park etwas besser verteilt.

Mein Weg führt mich weiter zum Belvedere-Park, einer weiteren Grünanlage mit zwei Schlössern. Im Gegensatz zu Schönbrunn ist die ganze Anlage ruhiger, weniger touristisch und irgendwie gepflegter. Alles in allem gefällt es mir hier sehr gut und ich lege mich eine Weile in die Sonne auf eine Bank am Brunnen..

Mein Spaziergang führt mich weiter zum Hundertwasserhaus und zum Prater, wo ich mich mit Anja treffe, die ich anfangs Reise in La Spezia in Italien kennengelernt hatte und in Wien wohnt. Was für ein Wiedersehen! Wir fahren mit dem völlig überteuerten Riesenrad (13.80€!) und dem weltweit höchsten Kettenkarrussell und quatschen über alles was seit unserem letzten Treffen geschehen ist. Wir haben insgesamt eine sehr gute Zeit und ich nehme nur mit halbem Auge die schönen Alleen des Praters wahr und die ganzen Fahrgeschäfte und Restaurants, an denen wir vorbeiziehen. Schliesslich setzen wir uns in ein typisch Österreichisches Restaurant und Biergarten, das ironischerweise „Schweizerhof“ heisst. Hier stösst schliesslich nach Feierabend auch Anjas Freund Moritz dazu, den ich auch bereits aus Italien kenne. Wir haben einen wirklich tollen Abend, ich esse ein sehr leckeres grosses Wiener Schnitzel, hell-dunkel Gemischtes Budweiser und zum Schluss teilen wir uns noch einen Teller Mohnnudeln als Nachspeise. Die süssen Nudeln sehen ein bisschen aus wie Schupfnudeln, bestehen ebenfalls aus Kartoffelteig und werden mit Butter sowie reichlich Mohn und Puderzucker bestreut. Einfach köstlich! Zum Abschluss eines sehr tollen Abends geben wir uns noch eine Runde Extasy. Diese gibt mir so richtig den Kick - ich erinnere mich nicht, wann ich zuletzt mit so einer spassigen Achterbahn gefahren bin! Auch wenn mir das Bier kurz hochzukommen droht..

Pokemon Journeys Appreciation Post...

2020 is coming to an end, and has certainly been an eventful year. However it was not in a good way! But it was a good first year of Pokémon Journeys, so I want to give it some appreciation for helping me through these difficult times.

Now how can I not start by giving some appreciation to our boys Ash and Goh and their Pokémon first. I love the dynamic these two have with each other. Ash's has got himself a pretty good Pokémon Journeys Team, and what better way to start it off by giving him some Pokémon fans have waited years for him to catch. And they all have such personality, I can't get enough of our Same as Ever Pikachu Huggable Dragonite, Mischievous Gengar, Cute Riolu-Stoic Lucario, and while we still haven't gotten much personality from Farfetch'd yet. I can't wait to see it grow and show more personality next year.

Though while I like Ash's Lucario, it seems to have taken away some much needed screentime from Ash's other Journeys Team, especially Farfetch'd. So I do hope that next year they give the rest of Ash's Journeys Team some equal attention and screentime instead of keeping them on the sidelines.

And while Goh has already caught almost as many Pokémon as Ash did during his 23 year run in just 1 year. He doesn't have any fixed members aside from Cinderace and Sobble, so not a lot of them have shown much of their personalities. But I do hope we get some more episodes centering some of Goh's Pokémon like JN023 gave them some equal screentime and showed us their individual personalities.

But Cinderace has had different personality traits during it's evolutions, which of course reflects the phases of growing up. I loved Cute and Energetic Scorbunny, and I was shocked that it went to Emo Raboot in such a short time. But I grew to like Raboot's personally as well, cause it's rebellious phase was certainly related to a lot of us as well. Although I'll miss Emo Raboot, I'm glad that we got our Cheerful Fire Bunny back after it evolved into Cinderace. Not only that, it's a lot stronger than Scorbunny since it was able to last longer than Ash's Pikachu against Mewtwo.

And I'm happy that Goh's Sobble also accompanies Goh during his adventures instead of always staying at Cerise Park like Goh's other Pokémon. Besides, Sobble's such an adorable crybaby, and it formed such a cute sibling like bond with Cinderace. And if Goh's the one who catches Grookey, I hope that Cinderace and Sobble form a similar relationship with it as well.

But the one Pokémon I would like give some thanks to is Ash's Dragonite. I will admit that I was like "meh" on Pokémon Journeys during the first 2 months, cause saying goodbye to the Sun and Moon Series was hard. Though I did truly love the first and second episodes, it was kinda hard to move on from the Sun and Moon Series. But just when it seemed that each episode would be just as predictable as the last, the episode where Ash caught the most adorable Dragonite certainly exceeded expectations. So much so that it was Trending on Twitter for a while. After that, it slowly but surely became easier for me to move on and enjoy new Pokémon Journeys episode each week. And now I'm looking forward to what each new episode brings to us and I'm enjoying each and every minute of it.

While Team Rocket's goal will never change! I kinda have some mixed feelings about their New Rocket Vending Suprise Master. I do wish that they would've formed some bonds with the Pokemon the Vending Machine gives them, instead of just using them for battle. On the other hand, I do love the anticipation it always gives us every time it appears as we often don't know what Pokemon Jessie and James are going to get next, so I do like that about it.

But at least we know that this Villainous Idiots will never stop being such loveable goofballs. And Pokeani wouldn't be the same without these guys. I also hope that we get a little bit longer Research Fellows and Team Rocket Trio Truces next year as well than we got in JN040.

I really don't have a lot of complaints about Ash and Goh's goals. Since they completely changed the formula for this series instead of going back to to the usual formula from Generations 1-6. I love that Ash's goal is handled in a different way! After all, Ash has finally won a Game Based Pokémon League in Sun and Moon. So what better way to compete in a completely different league that allows you battle trainers from all over the world while raising your ranks to make it to Master Class. This will be a real test of skill for Ash than any of the other leagues had to offer! The only question I have is if a battle against Ash and The World's Strongest Trainer Leon Top Alolan Father and Son Showdown?!

While Goh's goal of catching one of all kinds of Pokémon took some getting used to, since he doesn't often battle them or forming bonds with them before catching them. I just simply learned to get used to it overtime! Besides, his catching style is based off the Pokémon Go and Let's Go game mechanics. Also when you think about it, Goh is almost like the original version of Ash Ketchum. Who was originally planning to catch a lot of Pokémon (although that was just to try to be better than his rival Gary) until he decided it's better to form bonds with Pokémon than worry about how many he has. While I would be shocked if Goh manages to catch a Legendary Pokémon to keep and it seems a bit strange for a Main Character to catch a Legendary to keep after 23 years. But I love Pokeani so much, so whatever the animators decide, I'll just roll with it. While I do like Goh and wish him the best of luck, just hopefully they won't let him catch Nebby the Solgaleo, or the Lunala Gladion teamed up with.

While Chloe is the First Pokegirl to start off as a recurring character in Pokémon Journeys. She went through some great character development during the first half of Pokémon Journeys. She went from a girl who was "meh" on Pokémon at first to a girl who becomes fascinated with them during her time with Yamper and some adventures with Ash and Goh. And now that she caught herself an Eevee with a similar dilemma as hers, I hope those tweets I saw on Twitter weren't kidding and she'll join Ash and Goh as a Research Fellow sometime next year. (Of course they may not be such reliable sources, so don't get your hopes up) So if she does, I hope she meets some of Ash's previous traveling companions amd recurring characters as well.

Speaking of which, my favorite part of Pokémon Journeys is all of the past characters that have made appearances in just the first year of Pokémon Journeys. It was great to see Lance and Chuck appear in the anime again after all these years, the battle between Ash and Korrina in JN025 was certainly awesome, as well Gurkinn introducing Goh to Mega Evolution, and the Mewtwo from the first movie making an appearance in the main series was not disappointing. Even though Diantha has only made a cameo appearance in JN026, I would like it if she makes a full appearance sometime as well. Perhaps as a Master Class trainer challenging Leon someday?!

But the best one of them all was the Alola Pokémon School Reunion in JN037! It was certainly heartwarming to see Ash reuniting with almost all of his former classmates and catch up with them, as well as reuniting with his Alola Mom and Dad and meeting his new Alolan Little Brother Lei. And although Lillie and her family are still searching for Mohn, I'm so happy that the Aether Siblings made an appearance in this episode as well. I really hope that we'll see even more Aether Siblings soon, and that we'll see them reunite with Mohn. I also really want Chloe to meet Ash's Classmates as well, and Team Rocket reunite with their Alolan Family the next Alola visit as well. I really hope that next year even more of Ash's Past Traveling Companions reappear in Pokémon Journeys as well as other recurring characters and Gym Leaders as well.

I have never seen a more difficult year like 2020, and I can't say whether things will get a little better or even worse in 2021. But Pokémon Journeys is certainly giving me something to look forward to each and every week, as well as the no. 1 reason to see this year through. And even during the unexpected hiatus, it was and is my becon of hope in these dark days cause they bring a lot of Heart, Humor, and Awesome Pokemon Battles as well. So I give this thank you to the Pokeani Community for being there for us during a year like this. And I'm looking forward to what kinds of adventures our Pokemon World Travelers and Team Rocket Trio bring in 2021!

GLADION AND ASH BABYSITTING LEI.......Ash would have no idea how to take care of a baby but he’d try his best, Gladion would be super skilled at it because he practically helped raise Lillie after Mohn disappeared. Gladion schools Ash on how to be a proper big brother and it is soft. Pikachu would also make for an excellent babysitter

how i feel about this character: she’s the most underappreciated main character in the skamverse!! i know a lot of people don’t really care that much about eva but her insecurities, the loneliness she felt as well as the fact that she’s lost and has no idea what kind of person she is and wants to be... i’ve always related to that, especially when i first watched s1 because i was in similar place at that time. also i just really love that her storyline literally tells you the opposite of all teen movies: a relationship alone doesn’t make you happy/friendship is really fucking important, sometimes even more important than romantic love

all the people i ship romantically with this character: i guess noora? i’ve always wanted eva to be single for a while after her journey in s1 but i wouldn’t have minded nooreva

my unpopular opinion about this character: does an opinion about her hair styles count as an unpopular opinion?? her s1 hair is gorgeous but i prefer it when it’s shorter in s2-4 she’s not the most boring main character/her season isn’t the most boring season as many people believe

one thing i wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: so many things, i’ve got so many headcanons for eva... maybe get a season where she actually re-connects with isak? because that moment at the end of s3 felt like the typical “omg we should hang out more”-talk that never happens... also would have loved for eva to come out as bi because she sure isn’t straight and no one can convince me otherwise

how i feel about this character: i watched s2 before i saw s1 so i was rather indifferent towards her for a long time but i really fell in love with her when i watched s1 last summer!! i liked how she was way more forward to viri about alejandros feelings (the clip in the park) and i loved when she opened up about being bullied to eva. i was really excited for her season (i still am) but right now all i can say is that i want to wrap her in a blanket and keep her safe

ʻ   / wow ,   i am so excited  to introduce bailey pyo   to  our current  students at cape  coral . she is  extremely  excited to  join the film club .   coming  in as an  21  year  old freshmen ,  they  shouldn't  worry about  fitting in .   the cis female  taurus   has  always  reminded  me of park sooyoung  , but  some people  don't see it .   trying to keep the  fact that she has dropped out of three different colleges in the past few years and her parents used their connections to obtain the scholarship   from  getting  around this  school is going  to be tough . no  worries , though ,   cape coral will create  a new life for them , i  assure you . ʼ

THINGS TO KNOW

bailey’s a scholarship student! by not so honest means but she’s genuinely doing pretty good since she’s actually putting in effort into making sure her life is in Check. she’s by no means a teachers pet, and just in general doesn’t... bring much attention to herself.

genuinely kind of has a talent for blending into the background and disappearing from situations she doesn’t want to be in - which really has helped as much as it’s damaged her young life. she’s mousy and quiet by default, usually reading or writing a whole bunch.

likes to nap in between classes in quiet and/or strange corners on campus as she progressively finds them. she likes to say she has a talent for sleep, which really it’s impressive how quickly she can sleep and how she can w wake up from naps at the right times

really, she’s trying this time to be more social and make friends. she’s put herself off from it for so long that she figures it’s time you know? it’s not like she has any particular difficulty with it (unless it’s in a large group setting ie: in front of classrooms then... whew) - bailey is genuinely a warm person when talked to albeit maybe a tiny bit blunt. she just happens to be in her own head a lot.

that being said she’s extremely calm - almost too calm that’s it’s really a way she copes to try and not be anxious constantly. it works, for the most part, thankfully and it’s been keeping her stable enough mental health wise. keeps her from any more college-dropping-out-inducing incidents with her anxiety. (that being said she’s Big Anxiety internally)

kind Notices things very easily. she’s an observer and have been since she was younger but since becoming quieter as she’s grown, it’s just become more heightened. it’s not like she voices out these things willynilly, but she likes to keep these things in mind. makes for good inspo when she’s writing tbh. 

her family fits snugly into the upper middle class tbh!  she has two younger sister, one who’s doing pre-medicine in an ivy league school, so a lot of the family funds are going into paying for that sister’s college. also her past of dropping out really has her parents not trusting her anymore - which was why she ended up in parker community college in the first place.

she’s really... like straight edge, completely by choice! she’s genuinely not interested in drinking or drugs it’s just not her thing? (she’s got enough on her plate tbh) she is trying to be more social and is trying to go to parties but she’s just been Struggling tbh it’s not really her scene? also partly why she is not that Experienced compared to her peers in intimate matters? the closest she’s had is a couple of “almosts” from high school that ended up going nowhere

a ho for all kinds of media - she’ll talk your head off about the things she’s watching/reading if ever explicitly given the chance. 

SONGS

i just by red velvet - that smidgen of hope, of (trying to) leave all past troubles and actually try now. the mindset bailey is trying to get into now that she’s in cape coral and moving on with her life! her attempt at being a proper adult now and for her to just leave the past behind. the contrast of the driving edm with the heavy-ish lyrics also feels like it’s very bailey in terms of her mind and thoughts.

busted & blue by gorillaz - the song's feel captures bailey’s vibe overall, it’s chill, slightly downer in tone, but has a hint of hope as well within the words. the lyrics, too, feel like they were written in her voice. kind of similar to how she’d write a poem, for example, especially during her very tumultuous period of life when she was in and out of school and truly starting to understand herself. It’s less a song that relates to her and more a song that emulates her in some ways.

class of 2013 by mitski - really explains her confusion and hesitance to grow into adulthood. it’s something she’s felt that she’s not suited for but life really doesn’t care about how she feels so she’s going to keep growing. so she ends up trying to cling on to years past even if there’s really nothing there for her anymore.  It’s really not helped by her rather poor mental health and the song doubles down on that feeling of progressively feeling more and more inadequate.

WANTED CONNECTIONS

someone who just kinda sees her y’know? probably a person who’s found her weird spots and they’re slowly like beginning to share these spaces and such. which would partly weird her out because she’s been so used to just making herself not be seen and has been very successful doing it for so long. but it’s obvious she likes it and wants this person around more.

pre-scholarship parker community college friend(s)! bailey would’ve definitely started Trying when she got to parker so possibly someone she grew close with then and them getting the scholarships together would’ve been great for bay because she’s not alone again lmao

old friends from when they were younger? maybe family friends? her dad has a pretty large reach tbh so it’s possible she would’ve accidentally known some people from even before this. 

someone to try and get her out more and Live A Little. can be ~corrupting~ her or a bad influence, but mostly just someone to drag her out of her room and be daring and bold! she can at the same time, be a calming presence for them to just chill out with her 

a crush! a few crushes! a flirtation! bailey crushes really easily tbh but she also gets over them just as quick so however you’d want to play it out i’m up for that!

ooOOH someone who’s very forward in flirting with her and bailey actually gets super flustered? like she just wouldn’t know how to deal with it and she’s not sure if she likes it or not (probably likes it a lot). but she’s just not used to this kind of attention that it throws her off big time.

a work out buddy lol she’s been pretty successful with consistently doing weekend jogging/walking so something could be built from there?

honestly any of the above can be combined with each other but either way: all the plots! gimme i would love theeemmmmmmm allll - frienships, romantic ships, antagonistic stuff, ALL OF IT.

CRASHING (Into You)

Isak is late to Jonas’ birthday party because he was so focused on his studying that he didn’t realize how late it was until Magnus called him, asking him where he is. Panicking, Isak leaves the library and runs down the stairs to get out of the building. When he sees his friend’s car parked in front of the building, he gets in in a rush and tells him to hurry up because he forgot the cake at his place, only to realize that the guy behind the wheel isn’t his friend… because that's not Magnus' car at all, even though they're the same model. The guy is laughing, but accepts to give Isak a ride anyway because he seems helpless and wants to help him out.
