Mokusei Shrine (木星神社) is a small Shinto shrine dedicated to Mokusei @lorddreameater, a minor god long subdued into a benign state. Known for its connection to dreams and the unseen, the shrine is a quiet sanctuary where the air carries the faint scent of osmanthus. Offerings of gold, poppies, or music are said to catch Mokusei’s fleeting attention. Though whether in blessing or playful mischief remains uncertain. It is said that Mokusei currently takes the form of a tapir.

Leave offerings of gold, poppies, or music in hopes of catching Mokusei’s attention, though the response may be unpredictable.

Sense a mysterious presence watching from the shadows, a fleeting whisper in the wind.

Feel an unusual drowsiness settle in… was it just exhaustion, or did Mokusei stir?

Experience a strange dream or vision after visiting. Perhaps a message, or merely a trick?

Spot a tapir-like figure in the distance. Was it real, or just a trick of the light?

Dare to seek Mokusei’s favour… or risk drawing its mischief upon yourself.

Oh you're gonna love this!

They are not "just" named after elements, they are named after their planets (and the planets are named after elemtents)

With the exception of Aino Minako, with Venus being 金星 kinsei, gold planet, but Love is still very much associated with venus and also makes the Princess switcheroo not as obvious to younger audiences. Also, Hino Rei is also likely named Rei because of 霊 rei, soul/spirit/etc., due to her being a shrine maiden. The Hi in her name is not 日 sun but 火 fire.

But yeah, Mercury is 水星 suisei, water planet, Mars is 火星 kasei, fire planet, Jupiter is 木星 mokusei, wood planet, and finally 土星 dosei, earth planet. The 土 kanji is also present in Sailor Saturn's name 土萠ほたる Tomoe Hotaru.

This continues with Uranus and Neptune being 天王星 tennōsei, heaven king planet, and 海王星 kaiōsei, ocean king planet, and those being Tennō Haruka and Kaiō Michiru's last names respectively (minus 星 sei). Same with finally Pluto, 冥王星 meiōsei, dark king planet, also giving the name to Meiō Setsuna.

They also play with this on One Piece, with the Five Elders being named after planets, and the japanese name of the five elders, 五老星 gorosei, essentially meaning five old planets.

@cat-in-the-isle-of-tea - thinks she's too caring and down to earth, he also thinks she smells like cat piss probably stole something from her once. Reffered to as "Kin-chan" in canon

@agummyshark - didnt talk since the guy got his tongue fixed, Gen'ichirou REALLY wants to talk to him to avoid drifting apart but suprisingly has little to say, calls him "the guy"

I was choked by a guy in a mask at the shrine and now if i as much as take the wrong step i'll end Up on a possible kill list of haruko's STUPID siblings

Had a brick thrown at my head and now i suffer constant headaches

Later I had a brick thrown at my ribcage and almost died blood was everywhere
