This weekend Grisha and I had a fun tacos party. We made our cocktail tacos ourself according to our tastes. It was so much fun. A lazy weekend with drinks, tacos and movies. Being a mommy I spend half of ma time in the kitchen and the days schools are off is a day full of demands. Often I click pictures and share and many a times i don't. So today being a holiday to madams school the day started with I wanna eat puri and halwa. As soon as devoured her breakfast a demand came for chips. So here are the chips totally homemade in less oil and fresh. I prepared some banana chips for her to munch and enjoy her colouring. I avoid pre packed packets of chips now as they are not healthy and filled with ingredients which we avoid. It hardly took me half an hour and they were ready. Why I chose banana chips? Bananas are full of vitamins, minerals, fibers and nutrients. I find them much healthier than potato chips. A heavenly breakfast, which I was craving from last few days. Missi Paratha with some instant karonda and mirchi achar and a glass of lassi ( buttermilk). So karonda was something new to me though i had it many a times in mixed pickle but for the first time I experimented with the one. The instant aachar too hardly 20 to 25 minutes and it was ready to be relished. With such a climate and digging in more homemade food why not just twist it with some flavours and savour every bit of it. I got paratha masala from Amritsar and was waiting to use it so added a bit of it to the dough and paratha turned out so good ma daughter enjoyed every bit of it. The parathas turned out soft and tasty full of flavours.
