Haha well I don’t know if that’s what the anon wants because they didn’t specify. Maybe someday I’ll write the heat porn, but if not, I’ve written plenty of other heat porn, so you can always read that and pretend.

But essentially my feeling about this is, I can either write timestamps or whatever it is for stuff I’ve already completed and put behind me, or I can work on a new project, and 100% of the time I’m going to pick the new project, because that’s what’s more interesting for me. I like the part where the characters are navigating their problems and am less interested in the domestic bliss that comes after. I’m sorry if that isn’t what people want to read, but quite frankly I’m writing for myself.

Apparently bears are full grown by age 12 so yes, having a bear as a soul guide most definitely means having a 24/7 incidental bodyguard.

Geno feeds this bear a million treats when he finally meets Sid and unlocks his Tragic Backstory™ (like ‘you must be at least a level 4 friend to unlock my tragic backstory’)

Sidney Crosby and Jack Johnson will once again wear the same sweater, and the Penguins captain is thrilled with the fact that his former Shattuck-St. Mary’s teammate signed a five-year, $16.25-million contract with the club on Sunday.

“I’m happy he chose us,” Crosby wrote in an email to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Crosby, however, said it’s “not fair” to say that he did some sort of sell job to get Johnson here.

In Crosby’s estimation, he was simply talking about how much he loves Pittsburgh, the same as he’s done to countless players over the years.

“I’m doing my job to help the team and represent it,” Crosby wrote. “There is a difference.”

During his introductory press conference, Johnson said Crosby tried to talk to him about the Penguins but that no such pitch was necessary.

Crosby thought that even that was giving their conversation a little too much credence.

“I talked to him about our team, like I did many times with other free agents, and he happened to sign with us, which is great,” Crosby said. “I haven’t ever pushed for anybody, and I’m not going to start now.”

I think it's great that you're branching out! Pre-matching is definitely a good idea if you want to go with an artist and have specific ideas. First step is to contact the artist(s) you'd potentially want to work with.

I think as an artist, it would indeed be better if you prematched, because you'd very likely have a particular visualization in mind that you don't actually want to write down in detail . thank you both for the advice. I agree i think pre-matching with an artist would be the way to go, because, yeah i do have particular visualisations, but i would like another artist because it would be fun to change roles and also see my ideas done in a way i could not achieve in my own style. I may put off approaching artists for a bit because 1. I hate asking for things, it makes me feel all slimy all over and ugh, and 2. I want to get a substantial part of the draft done so that when i do ask an artist, its with the knowledge that the project will definitely be being completed, so they arent wasting time on something i flake out on. and 3. because of point 1. i want to procrastinate doing it.

I will think about looking for betas, but points those points really apply there as well.
