Hello!! Long time no post! I am not dead!!

Just had to put my attention on different projects elsewhere for a while, one of them was this little guy who I finished today :D

Not that bad for my first ever attempt at doll customization, I'm super happy with how he turned out 🪄✨

Went a little mix and match with his design and outfit to make it both work as a doll and doable for my beginner experience haha

finished my drider, Katharine Hunstman. her clothes are made from very sheer fabric. one of my partners suggested making her clothes look like they were made of spider-silk, so i thought the transparency added a delicate look. the skirts are ruched up to accommodate movement, but are long enough to almost cover her legs fully if let down.

my concept of her is as a librarian, skittering along the shelves as she helps people. if i was going to make her as a playable character, it would be a wizard to keep with the literary theme. her size as a doll would be close to her actual size, able to ride on someone’s shoulder if needed.

I made a fish man.

Well, partially. I had a Monster High body that was missing limbs and frankinsteined him some replacements. Plus a few extra fins and a tail. He can't really stand on his fin leg (though I did make the fin articulated), so I made him a simple crutch. I've been watching art doll videos recently (of the stuffed and wire-articulated variety) and got inspired.

I still need to paint some details to make everything more cohesive and repaint the head. All the translucent additions glow in the dark, so I really want that to come through in his eyes. To cover his head to neck transition, I'll probably use some painted fabric.

The fin for his left leg is somewhere, I just forgot to attach it before I took the pictures.

Monster High shoe repaints I did forever ago. After I’d get a doll, I’d usually add a bit more color to their shoes (which were always so detailed, but often just a solid color). I probably could have added more detail to Viperine’s heel’s and top of her boots, Isi’s shoes straps could have maybe been painted brown or black to break up the fringe, and I could have added more color to Marisol’s heels. Aw, well, younger me didn’t think so. My favorite were Clawdia’s and Gigi’s.

and last but not least of the sunny photo shoot is  Crispin Renwick.  Crispin is a deer centaur that I made out of a avea trotter doll, a thrifted draco malfoy body, and a Haruto licca doll. he doesn't have clothes yet but I'm working on getting/ making some eventually.

Hello! I'm happy to share the third doll in my ONEUS series. This doll is inspired by "쉽게 쓰여진 노래 (A Song Written Easily)"

At first I was going after a romantic/flowy/beachy look, but over several attempts to design and see a suitable dress based on the idea, nothing materialized that excited me. Then, I thought more about the sound of the song, and the moombahton, tropical sound led me to Carribean carnival, and how fun a look based on that could be, especially in an ASWE inspired color scheme.
