Kennedy Morton is expecting her 5th child with husband Andrew Morton. They have Mia, Valerie, Naida and Hamish. Again No due date for the 4th Morton grand due this year. The others are Adeline due Most likely in March, Francesca is April and Rachel most likely also due in April

CoS: Thanks for asking. Yes, I am aware that in the current canon of the games, the Koopalings are not considered kids of the Koopa King anymore, but his loyal minions instead. I am aware this change was made around the time of Super Mario Sunshine, along the debut of Bowser Jr., more than 20 years ago. And No, I don't give s**t about it.

(Ofc, I'm talking about my personal Headcanon :P I love the current canon Koopalings and their personality, and I love them in any type of hc, be they Bowser's kids or not x3)

Okay so I was scrolling through my art and I found these designs I did of the koopalings, etc. from probably last summer? They weren't *fully* drawn over BUT simply just edited. Yes the quality is a bit like, uhh, cheap but I didn't wanna draw over the artwork and recolour it in like I usually do for headcanon designs. Yippee, headcanon design swag!! Again, I don't claim the original artwork as my own nor the poses.

Headcanon that Bowser (and eventually Peach) adopted the Koopalings into their family, which made Bowser Jr. the Koopalings' brother! They also adopted Boom Boom and Pom Pom too, so Bowser and Peach got a lot of kids lol. Also technically Peach *is* Bowser Jr.'s mom, but Bowser and her where able to have him by getting Rosalina and her Lumas to help. So they legit wished upon a star and Bowser Jr. came to be, so no, Peach didn't get pregnant with Bowser Jr., but her and (mostly?) Bowser's DNA is within Bowser Jr., but he legit just appeared out of thin air, LMAO. /srs

More notes (I'm gonna tag this as a ramble post too methinks), Larry, Wendy, and Ludwig are biological siblings. Roy and Morton are bio siblings. Iggy and Lemmy are bio siblings. Pom Pom and Boom Boom are bio siblings. But they alllllllllll happened to be adopted by Bowser and Peach over time. Huge family. 🥹

so I begun following recently after learning a lot about morton's toe/foot here, and-

TOE WALKING IS RELATED TO THAT TOO? on solid ground I naturally veer towards a slight toe walk as it's much more comfortable and secure when i have no shoes on?? once again you have blown my mind /pos

anyway, just wanna say thanks for writing so much down like google would have told me NONE of this and I'd have been nonethewiser!!

(quick question actually- I notice all my shoes wear down internally underneath my big toe faster than any other zone, to the point at least one pair has a very noticeable dip there.... would that be related to compensatory behaviours or something? putting more pressure on that side or w/e? and if so, would getting the little inserts help that too? :O)

YES there are multiple ways people compensate, and I'm starting to learn that pretty much any sign of shoe wear (or as we call around here, being "hard on your shoes") does seem to point towards Morton's foot type!!

some compensation patterns I've noticed:

walking on your heels/keep weight off the forefoot

walking on the outside of the foot (usually in response to being told they overpronate, so they manually life the big toe side in response) (tends to make you turn toes inwards)

walking on the inside of the foot/big toe, usually combined with turning the toes outwards (toes should point straight) because this forces weight onto the big toe for push off in walking, but the pinkie toe side cannot reach the ground

toe walking! because the absence of the additional support point on the forefoot makes you fall forward, so rocking up onto the front of the foot recenters your balance

and then some people seem to go middle of the road, where they keep their weight on the middle of the forefoot and heel and may pull up all their toes for a heel-forefoot walking style, usually results in wear in the middle of the sole and a callous in the same spot on the foot

it's difficult to explain with just words, but I've discovered that, over the course of a stride, your weight should start in the heel, move along the outside of the foot to behind the pinkie toe, and then across the front arc of the foot to push off with the big toe

typical path of weight distribution for a foot that is adapted to walking, aka the "normal" foot

Morton's foot however, usually ends up something like this:

all the weight gets shunted from heel to forefoot, which is GREAT for sprinting, not so great for walking or standing, two things that require a stable foot for balance that Morton's foot type lacks

so honestly even if you only suspect you have Morton's foot, it's very easy to get some padding under the big toe metatarsal there and see if it helps. worse case scenario, you just remove it!

i will say tho that sometimes the correction hurts at first, so it's best to give it a solid shot before you decide it's not for you. like i cannot stress enough that Morton's foot is EXTREMELY common. it's not like some rare disorder you never hear about it's literally a thing that as much as 25% of the population has so really truly give it a shot and see if it helps, even if you're feeling unsure about whether you actually have it or not.

Breaking News: Another Morton Grandchild. And Soon!

Rachel Morton is expecting her 8th child and looks to be due soon!. Other Mortons that are currently pregnant right now is Adeline Holloway and Francesca Morton.

Rachel is married to Wesley and they currently have Joey, William, Ariana, Luke, Olivia, Levi and Manuel. Their last Manuel was born in April of 2019.

Rachel is due April of 2024

Larry is not very happy the Summertime is over. Ludwig is sending his last photo of the vacantion to his GF.

Lemmy is probably pretending to be a sky pirate. Lord Bowser is clearly already thinking about the next invasion of the Mushroom Kingdom... or about a new and eccentric way to propose to the Princess.

That's it! That's the end of my first, small Series from my personal SMB HC/AU!

I'm very proud of how this drawing turned out and it was probably the hardest, most complex thing I've ever draw in YEARS (maybe EVER). It took me 4 full days to finish and it's the very first time I play with perspective. Two friends of mine helped me A LOT with the perspective study, so a very big thank you to you!

Bowser headcanons 2

As I already said in the headcanon, Bowser's parents died when he was only 2 years old, but he still remembers their faces, but in order not to forget, he keeps his parents' clothes, jewelry and other things

He and the koopalings' father were great friends, so he promised to take care of his children when he died, that's why Bowser adopted the koopalings

I like to think that he and King boo were childhood friends, then King bob-omb and Tatanga met Bowser

Bowser sometimes wonders if he likes Peach or not throughout the kidnappings, he realized that

After the Koopalings' father died, their mother left them with her lover, so Bowser "adopted" the Koopalings, but he and his wife didn't know how to raise children properly, so King Boo and King Bob-omb helped him raise them.

Bowser's outfits are his father's old outfits, but Kamek updated them
