What African Men Really Think About Curvy Women!
In recent years, the conversation around body positivity and curvy women has gained significant traction, especially in Africa. The rise of curvy fashion icons and the embrace of fuller figures have sparked a broader discussion about beauty standards. But what do African men really think about curvy women? Is there a shift in perception, or are traditional views still prevalent? In this post, we’ll delve deep into this intriguing topic, uncovering opinions, breaking stereotypes, and exploring the evolving landscape of beauty in Africa.
Historical and Cultural Context
African culture has long celebrated voluptuousness, often associating curvy figures with prosperity, fertility, and beauty. Historically, many African societies revered fuller figures as symbols of wealth and health. However, with globalization and the influence of Western media, there has been a shift towards slimmer body ideals. Despite this, many African men continue to hold traditional views that embrace curviness.
Modern Perceptions: The Changing Landscape
In today’s world, African men’s perceptions of curvy women are diverse and evolving. While some still cling to traditional ideals, others are increasingly influenced by modern trends. The impact of social media and global fashion has introduced new standards of beauty, which often celebrate curviness as a positive trait. Here’s a closer look at how these perceptions are changing:
Traditional Admiration: In many African cultures, a curvy body is still admired and celebrated. The traditional view holds that a fuller figure signifies a woman’s ability to bear children and her status as a symbol of beauty and wealth.
Influence of Western Media: The influence of Western media has introduced a narrower beauty standard, often favoring slimmer figures. However, African men are increasingly exposed to a variety of body types through international celebrities and influencers, which helps broaden their views.
Social Media Trends: Social media has played a significant role in reshaping beauty standards. Platforms like Instagram and TikTok showcase curvy models and influencers who are celebrated for their body types. This exposure is gradually changing how African men view curviness.
Impact of Influencers and Public Figures
Several African celebrities and influencers have played a crucial role in shifting perceptions about curvy women. Figures like South African model Thickleeyonce, Nigerian actress Eniola Badmus, and Kenyan influencer Joy Kendi have become symbols of body positivity and self-love. Their prominence in the media has helped challenge traditional beauty standards and promote a more inclusive view of attractiveness.
What African Men Say About Curvy Women
The opinions of African men about curvy women are as diverse as the continent itself. Here’s a summary of the most common perspectives:
Admiration and Preference: Many African men express admiration for curvy women, seeing them as more attractive and desirable. They appreciate the natural and voluptuous shapes, which they often view as a sign of health and femininity.
Cultural Pride: For some, curviness is a source of cultural pride. They see curvy women as embodying traditional African beauty ideals and celebrating the heritage of their ancestors.
Changing Views: A growing number of African men are influenced by global trends and social media. They are becoming more accepting of different body types and recognizing that beauty is diverse and not confined to a single standard.
Practical Tips for Embracing Curviness
If you’re a curvy woman navigating these perceptions, here are some practical tips to help you embrace your curves confidently:
Celebrate Your Body: Embrace your curves and wear clothes that highlight your best features. Confidence is key to feeling and looking great.
Find Supportive Communities: Connect with other curvy women and supportive communities online. Sharing experiences and advice can boost your confidence.
Educate Others: Use your platform to educate those around you about body positivity and challenge outdated stereotypes.
Be a Role Model: Show others that curviness is beautiful by leading with confidence and self-love. Your attitude can inspire and influence others’ perceptions.
Conclusion
The perceptions of African men about curvy women are multifaceted and evolving. While traditional views still hold strong in many areas, modern influences and the rise of body positivity are creating a more inclusive and diverse understanding of beauty. Embracing your curves and celebrating your body can be empowering, and it’s essential to continue challenging stereotypes and promoting self-love.

Family!!
You might have the best "ladies" page on Tumblr🏆
Straight Black women (not white, Mexican, mixed, etc)... Mostly from Africa & the Caribbean, super Curvy but not sloppy, not greased up & all tatted up, most of them with no BBL's looking ghetto & raunchy, carrying themselves like hookers & strippers...
Just lovely lady vibes, looking classy & smart. 🤌🏿
Keep up the great work, Family ✊🏿🙏🏿
Thanks!
I make it a point to only show beautiful Black women, and Black women ONLY. My personal motto is "Sexy will always trump Slutty", so I never show naked females, and since I have a personal dislike of tattooed women, I try not to post them. But now a days thats become nearly impossible.. Anyway, thanks for the comment. It's appreciated!

Jessica Biel for Cosmopolitan - July 2007
Cosmo chats with Jessica to get caught up on her funny new flick, how she of that rockin body, and what it's like having the most smokin guys on the planet after her. Hope you're taking notes. By Monica Corcoran
Jessica Biel has been feeling particularly fearless these . "My latest thing is that I want to do everything that scares me," she says after ordering an egg, ham, and cheese sandwich with fries at a chic hotel in Santa Monica, California (a meal, it should be noted, that would induce panic in most other Hollywood starlets). The Colorado–raised 25-year-old recently got up the guts to go skydiving and conquered her fear of singing in public by belting out "Endless Love" at a piano bar in Paris. She is even thinking about traveling to Africa or Vietnam—all by herself. Taking risks has been paying off professionally too. She recently took on dramatic roles in the Iraq war film Home of the Brave and the highly acclaimed turn-of-the-century magician flick The Illusionist opposite Ed Norton and Paul Giamatti, a part she acknowledges she had to fight pretty hard for. "I don't give up easily," she says proudly. "Sometimes, you have to put yourself on the line when you want something and just hope that you don't get laughed at."
This month, getting people to crack up will be a sign of a job well done. In her new movie, the comedy I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, Jessica portrays a gay-rights attorney who ends up falling for her client, played by Adam Sandler, who is pretending to be coupled up with Kevin James's character to receive domestic-partner benefits. "Finally, I get to play the goofy outgoing girl, which is much more my real personality," she says. Case in point: She and her group of girlfriends have a tradition of getting dressed up in crazy '70s clothes and neon wigs and going roller-skating at a Los Angeles rink. The other night, they even donned the wigs to stay in and play board games. "I am just not this aloof and sexy woman," she says. Not sexy? There are maybe, oh, several million men who would disagree with that statement...starting with Derek Jeter (they were photographed frolicking on a beach in Puerto Rico this past winter), Justin Timberlake (they famously flirted at a Golden Globes after-party), and her Blade: Trinity costar Ryan Reynolds (they reportedly took their close friendship to a new level this past spring). Jessica waves off this laundry list of alleged boyfriends. In fact, she's hasn't revealed anything about her love life since splitting from her on-again, off-again boyfriend of five years, actor Chris Evans, last summer. "No matter where I go or who I see, we get linked together. All of a sudden, I'm supposedly dating someone I might have known for 10 years...or even my cousin," she says. "I don't feel the need to settle down right now And if I do meet somebody, I don't feel the need for the paperwork of marriage. A verbal agreement is enough."
Perhaps the only thing more buzzed about than her romantic interludes is her rocking body. Today, dressed in a navy Mayle blouse, True Religion skinny jeans, and a pair of white Roger Vivier pumps (a splurge from that recent trip to Paris), it's easy to see what all the hype is about. She's curvy and superfit at the same time and not the least bit interested in being as bone-thin as some of her famous peers. "There is so much pressure to look a certain way in this town," she explains. "But it's nice to have a little meat on you, and I hope that I inspire women to appreciate their muscular calves." That's not to say Jessica doesn't work hard at looking good. To maintain her buff physique, she does yoga; walks her dog, Tina (a pit-bull-mix breed); hits the gym three or four times a week; and plays volleyball with friends on the weekends dining the summer. But when she's not training for a film, the down-to-earth beauty doesn't restrict her diet. She has a rapidly disappearing pile of french fries to prove it. ■ • She is of Choctaw American Indian, English, French, and German heritage. • Her food weaknesses are dark chocolate and pasta. • She admits that her worst habit is she cannot stop biting her nails. • In 2004, she cofounded the Make the Difference Network (MTDN.com), a Website that hooks people up with nonprofit organizations. • Her first acting job was a Pringles commercial, but she got her big break after being discovered at a modeling competition at age 11. • She doesn't know how to make coffee. • She recently took a photo-graphy class and is getting her shots of Cambodia framed to hang in her house. • She owns a cabin in Colorado and says it's her favorite place in the world

Ruth Sykes
Senior lecturer on graphic design and illustration course at university of hertfordshire.
She founded her own founded design practise with emily wood. she is a researcher of graphic design history.
Graphics UK Women website
Most documented history within design are from men.
Baseline Shift-untold stories of women in graphic design history. Sykes wrote a chapter within this.
Dorrit Dekk (1917-2014)
Why Dekk?
Women had to work extra hard to make a career for herself. A sketch Dekk made is of her running with her portfolio in arms. Her name is a not her actual name.
Dekk got her first job in the uk government, she put it down to how good she looked in her uniform. It was easier for women to get into advertising design during this period (Dekk was rejected for theatre designer position). Dekk would sign her pieces using just 'Dekk'-suggests a more masculine name. Learnt theatre production in Vienna but had to move because of the Nazis.
1951 was her big break. She become a freelance designer and worked for the festival of britain. This was her first time being introduced to the general public. She created a mural that demonstrated party games. Dekk was a great socializer and got this job by lying that she did murals before-created a persona. She did work for Air France.
In the 1960s she created personality panels, such as UK priminiseter Harold Wilson. She got various press cuttings and made a collage.
Enid Marx-another leading pioneer in the field of design (1902-1998). Women had to sell their work. Men didn't have to work as hard-just left portfolio with them. Women were paid less. Marx wasn't allowed to sign her work.
In 2010 she produced a range of t-shirts with Tender Co.
Norma Kitson (1933-2002)
Sierra Leone have her face on her stamp. She took advantage of new technological advances to take control of her own life. She had to move to london from south africa to escape government. Her husband was imprisoned and her sister was murdered by authorities.
1950s/60s She had learnt about printing south african communist party materials. Once in england, she got a clerical job with FHK Henrion.
She set up her own typesetting company in 1973 near Red Lion Square in London. Mechanical typesetting was not a feminised environment but there had been throughout history many attempts to make it suitable for women-Delcambre Type Composer 1843. This was focused on the profitable gain of using women and child labour, but companies saw their involvement as undervaluing the job and as a result, lowering the pay of men.
During the 1970s, type setting was accessible and many women took on these jobs. The Quaderik keyboard was introduced and typing was seen as a womens job. 'If you have a typist, you have an operator'-press ad for Apha Corp advertisement, women empowered.
Kitson was not particularly feminist, she employed women as they were cheaper and unionised. She was however, left leaning and against imperialism.

My question:
Would you say the feminisation of type work is still prevalent today?
Reasons associated with feminisation is unknown but Sykes puts it down to the action of typing as being an elegant task-'nimble fingers'. She also explains how type designs sometimes have curvy features associated with the female anatomy.

Mates, Dates by Cathy Hopkins: feminist empowerment novels or anti-feminist male-gaze novels?
-Part one of this post is in my "Sleepover Secrets, one of the worst books I've ever read" post
-But today I wanted to talk about the series as a whole.
THE GENERAL PREMISE
-This series consists of twelve books and follows four main characters, who are all teenage girls living in North London (The suburban parts of London, not the main city). They navigate friendships, romantic relationships, bullying by other students, general insecurities, growing up, discovering new hobbies, and more. The series starts off with them being fourteen and finished when they are sixteen
-MATES meaning friends, and DATES meaning romance
MAIN CHARACTERS
-Lucy, an artsy blonde girl who's short and skinny and loves fashion. She wants to be a fashion designer when she's older
-Izzie, a redheaded girl who's curvy and loves witchcraft and hiking and rock music. She's in a rock band with some of her guy friends
-Nesta, a mixed black/white girl who's tall and skinny and loves fashion. Guys stare at her EVERYWHERE she goes, she's also the prettiest girl at school. She wants to be an actress when she's older. She's the girliest of the group.
-T.J, a brunette girl with blue eyes who's tall and sporty (She play's soccer, tennis, and karate). She also loves reading and writing. She's the most tomboyish of the group.
STUFF ABOUT THE SERIES I HATED
-How male gazey it could sometimes be. Lucy and TJ sometimes feel like they blend into the background compared to Nesta and Izzie (especially Nesta!). All four main characters love it when they have moments where guys stare at them as if that somehow proves their worth. Lucy and TJ both have makeovers, with Lucy cutting her hair shorter and changing up her style a bit, but overall this makeover wasn't extremely drastic, and she only did it for herself, so she could feel more grown up, so I didn't have any MAJOR problems with it. TJ's makeover, however, was extreme. When TJ joins the group after her only friend Hannah leaves to go to South Africa, Nesta insists she have a makeover. TJ goes from t shirts and jeans and sneakers and zero makeup, to skintight skimpy dresses and sky high heels and tons of makeup. And this is all to get a guy's attention, a guy who initially only sees her as a friend before the makeover. TJ eventually realises that this guy isn't worth her time and realises that there's another new guy friend who likes her just the way she is (and TJ finds her own personal style that works for her) but this makeover storyline in particular REALLY makes me cringe
-Adding onto the last point, there are constant moments in the books where the message seems to be "dress and look ultra girly or guys won't like you!" Has the author ever thought that guys have different tastes and not all of them have the same type? Also some girls don't dress for guys, if that wasn't already glaringly obvious. But then again there seems to be the message of "you have to be pretty and intelligent and charming and flirty, and this, and that, and practically perfect, or guys won't like you!" It really annoys me. Some girls don't live their lives to please guys.
-Most of the love interest characters! We have Scott, who only likes TJ for her looks and that's all he likes her for. Scott constantly objectifies women and sees them as objects to look at and make out with. He only dates girls who look like supermodels and that's it, even if they are airheads. We have another guy (I can't even remember his name, I'll call him Logan). Logan and Izzie date for a bit and Logan pressures Izzie to drink, smoke and party. Then we have Tony, who dates Lucy on and off and is a notorious player who goes through girls as fast as a bus goes through stops. Then we have Luke. Luke dates Nesta but then when TJ is dating Steve (probably the only decent love interest in the whole series) Luke cheats on Nesta with TJ! Then TJ dumps Steve through email! Then we have Daniel who Lucy briefly dates, and he is possessive and controlling. There's probably like two more i forgot, but these are the main guys I hated.
-Nesta. Oh my god, I hated reading her POV. If you didn't know, each book follows one of the girls POV. She was extremely shallow and basically was a clone of Regina George (pretty, smart, charming, an airhead, and sorta bitchy at times). In fact Lucy states "if Nesta could have it her way, every girl in the world would be an ultra girly girl." All I could think was, the world be so boring if that was the case! The beautiful thing about humanity is our uniqueness and differences. Nesta only has a few main interests, makeup, boys, fashion, and, oh yeah, boys. As a FOURTEEN YEAR OLD she has kissed eight boys and when she's sixteen it's something like fifteen boys. The only good things about her arc was when she got braces because she became more humble and not as focused on her appearance, and at the end of the series when she went into charity work, initally to meet boys, but then she really enjoys it after a while.
-The series has such an underwhelming ending, with TJ stuck between two guys, Ollie a rocker guy, and Luke, the guy that two timed (cheated on) her friend with her. Before this book, she breaks up with him, but now she gets back together with him??? WHY??? Literally the worst ending. TJ was (mostly) smart throughout the series, but in this book she acts really stupidly.
STUFF I LIKED
-How (for the most part) the four girls were all there for each other and helped each other through their problems. I felt like it was empowering in that aspect. I liked how throughout the series Izzie/Lucy/TJ got more confident and Nesta got more humble, all arcs I felt were needed.
-Steve! TJ's love interest for around half the series. He was so sweet and down to earth and nice and and smart and wholesome. He wasn't a player or a cheater or rude. I felt SO BAD for him when TJ broke up with him through email, even though they both live in the same town, so she didn't need to resort to that.
-How (most girls) can relate to at least one of the main four characters. Each girl has different hobbies and interests (Lucy: fashion design, Nesta: acting, TJ: sports and writing, Izzie: singing and playing guitar) and personal fashion styles (Lucy: cutesy, Nesta: glam, TJ: sporty/casual, Izzie: emo/goth/rocker)
OVERALL
I can't tell whether I love or hate this series, it's such a weird guilty pleasure for me, like a love-hate relationship, or books I love to hate. I think one of the key reasons I was initally drawn to the series is because it reminded me of a teen version of Sex And The City, four women with vastly different styles, interests, and personalities navigating friendships, family, relationships, growing up, and more. I'm still unsure what to think about the series as a whole, but it did give me insecurites and self esteem issues growing up, especially as a fourteen year old, because I wasn't dating guys and I had a period of time (As a fourteen/fifteen year old) where I felt like I had to wear skimpy clothes and heels to attract guys. Newsflash, didn't work, i'm still single four years later. Let me know what you think of this series in the comments.

Isn't it crazy that white supremacy truly has us thinking that someone like Jennifer Aniston or any white person = beauty? It's crazy to think that sometimes how society makes us truly hate ourselves or question our appearance b/c we are not white?? It's mind-blowing and there needs to be serious decolonization of the black & brown mind.
Thoughts?
It really is. Now I believe that everyone is beautiful but I also believe beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. However, white people have a warped view. I’ve said before they have a massive god complex. As the global majority (Black people and POC) we are the most diverse group of people. This can also be said simply for Black people alone. We have so many looks. Some of us have kinky, curly, or straight hair. Some of us have blue, grey, hazel, or green eyes. Not to mention we’re basically our own rainbow. We have a variety of shades and come with various hair colors. The people that kicked off slavery knew this. Some of them had been to Africa before. It all boils down to jealousy though. Jealousy and them trying to break us down. Look at the Tignon Laws that happened in New Orleans that ordered Black women to cover their hair. All because white women were jealous and insecure and their husbands didn’t know the meaning of the word loyalty. Black women fought back though by wrapping their hair in scarves and decorating them with everything from jewels to feathers. White women even documented their jealousy in journals. After slavery ended they were pissed because Black people were allowed to take things from the main house. Some Black women took dresses and jewelry and they were mad because they looked good lol. As for white men…I can’t say much cuz they the weirdest of them all. It’s hard to read them and often they’re super narcissistic. I’d have to do more reading, but that’s all it boils down to Jealousy.
I’d also like to add that they get jealous of body shape too. They either get jealous or are just plain hateful and mean. We can’t be too curvy, muscular, or anything they deem to be unacceptable. It’s rooted in racism though so it’s not really surprising.

My story is going to place in prehistoric times and I cannot find any information on the existence or status of plus sized people that I believe is neutral and not fat-shaming. Most sources say there weren't any, since better diet and a lot more exercise, but I doubt that, to be honest. Should I just say screw it and add plus sized characters anyway or would you suggest finding scientific sources first?
Mod Miri Note: Hi folks, there’s a lot of talk in this post about body size which I can be triggering for some readers, and with tumblr’s tag system being pretty unreliable, I just wanted to put up a quick warning in case that would be an issue for any of our followers who may want to skip this post.
Feral: Yes. If you want to include plus sized characters, include plus sized characters. First of all, waist size is not actually a great indicator of physical fitness level. Second of all, at some point in prehistory humans evolved and when we did that, we evolved to store fat; this was likely for a reason. And third of all, no one is going to care if you do or do not find "scientific proof". The truth is, people have been people for as long as there have been people.
Tex: I would suggest to first figure out why you are defining things in the term "plus sized" - Google's Ngram Viewer finds that this wasn't in public circulation until almost 1950, which means that the vernacular would be entirely different the further back you go into the past. Wikipedia's article on "Plus-size clothing" indicates that the origins for this size group in fashion had comparatively very recent roots.
"Plus-size", "curvy", "big and tall", "stout"- these are all euphemisms to refer to a body type that is considered larger than the normal range. Human bodies are delicately-organized organic machines, and while they can tolerate a wide variety of stressors, they can only tolerate any given stressor for a certain amount of time before it damages the body - sometimes permanently, and fatally, if it's allowed to go unchecked.
The human body is built to be within a certain weight range for given heights - despite the flaws of the BMI, with its difficulty in telling apart muscle from fat (and which type of fat), it's still a good tool when used in conjunction with other diagnostic tests. To be overweight and to be obese are separated by very thin lines, and is better discussed in @ucsdhealthsciences' post "Fat but Fit: a pleasing myth or something else? ".
Given the comorbidities of being either overweight or one of the three grades of obesity, carrying more fat on your body than your body can safely tolerate is quite literally dangerous for your health. Prehistoric peoples rarely had the luxury of idleness or having someone transport them instead of walking (or even riding a horse/similar animal). Walking  in and of itself is ridiculously good for your health, to the point where exercising in the form of a gym or even manual labor can be a marginal part of one's exercise routine if someone has a choice about it.
I don't know why you doubt that a better diet and more exercise wouldn't reduce the occurrence of overweight/obese individuals - excess weight from specifically white fat has serious detrimental effects on the body and has a tendency to kill people off:

The Archaeology News Network has an article  about prehistoric obesity, and how it relates to fat storage in humans - the mutation of the uricase gene that was originally meant to help ancient humans survive famines and seasonal periods of low food. "Evolutionary history and metabolic insights of ancient mammalian uricases" by James T. Kratzer et al backs this idea up and goes into some further detail. "Archeologia dell’alimentazione umana [PDF]", or "Archaeology of nutrition" in English, by F. Gregorio and M. Sudano (abstract also provided in English) talks about how the human genotype has changed as diet and sedentary levels shifted.
Perhaps you're thinking of the Venus figurines as an example of "plus size"? But that's still not quite right - many of these figurines are meant to display what fertile women look like, especially pregnant ones (peak fertility for a great many cultures, but also a temporary state for women), and real-life steatopygian body types are mostly restricted to either parts of Africa or parts of India, often by tribe.
In China, and I believe parts of Asia with similar cultures, fat under the chin heralds many good things  - possibly because it meant you weren't starving and thus had enough food to be considered wealthy. Your mileage will vary on that, because China and many other cultures frown upon consumption unto excess for a variety of reasons.
People with more weight on them than average for their population, historically, have access to more food - which means ruling families, wealthy people - and once it was invented, (wealthy) farmers. But many cultures that were around in prehistory didn't have those kinds of societal structures, and pre-agricultural societies were inherently on the thin side because they were nomadic (which meant lots of walking), and had a diet primarily of gathered fruits/vegetables and whatever meat they could hunt down. It's usually the carbohydrates and other complex sugars in processed grains, such as breads, noodles, and bread-beers, that incite weight gain which is difficult to slough off, so it's something you need to keep in mind when worldbuilding your prehistoric societies.
If you want these kinds of body types in your worldbuilding, that's fine, but I would recommend that you don't try to view the past through the context of the present - life was very different back then, for very legitimate reasons, in ways that are neither wholly good nor wholly bad.
Saphira: Tex effectively nailed it, but I realize that you are likely writing "Plus-sized" characters into your narrative for representative purposes. You see how people under that title are treated in our current era, and you want to give them a more positive experience through your story. This is benevolently spirited, and so I understand your frustration with the situation. Being that history is not giving you a foothold for your vision, it's time to try another method.
Let's take a look at the Venus Figurines! They were made to represent women with bounty of life within them (as they were pregnant). They were also structures that represent faith. It gives us a fun, and positive, perspective on figures who are plus-sized. If we add a few degrees of separation, we get a foothold! First step: Pregnant people are plus sized. Second Step: Plus-sized means fertility and life. Third step: Anyone representing that plus-size is a bringer of fertility and life.
If Humans didn't have that plus-size due to their lifestyle and resources, then they may have idealized it. Look at how the renaissance models their women. They are plump and wealthy. Would not the people in your era feel similarly? Would they seek out, would they dream of, someone with that stature? Would they have a divine figure with those attributes? "This Venus figure represents a woman who is pregnant." "This Venus figure is not a pregnant woman, for it does not give birth to human children. Instead, it gives birth to vibrant fields, fresh water and honeybees."
If you are using divines or magic itself, you can find ways to representing plus-sizes in more creative ways. If you are working in a natural world, you can represent them with faith, or impressions of other creatures (like the bounty of a fruit, or the strength of a bear). Honestly, if we can worship skinniness through the art of Photoshop, others can worship the equally idealistic forms of the plus-size and all the wealth it represents in a pre-historic era.
Constablewrites: Another thing to remember about the Venus figurines is that recent scholarship has argued that they aren't just pregnant women, but they're self-portraits of pregnant women. That is, what was generally assumed to have been created by someone else *koff* men *koff* as an idealized depiction may have in fact been a way for women to explore and understand their own changing bodies. Perspective is critical when talking about beauty standards.
And Tex's point about the connection between economic status and beauty really needs to be underscored. You can see the point in history where a white person with a suntan went from being someone who worked outdoors (which meant they were poor and therefore undesirable) to being someone who could travel somewhere sunny and lounge around outside (which meant they were rich and therefore desirable). People are inclined to look for a mate whose children will be healthy, well cared for, and prosperous; the outward indicators of that status, whatever they might be in a given society, end up being conflated with an abstract idea of beauty.
Feral: As Tex, Saphira, and Constable pointed out "plus sized" has a wide definition (and can mean as small as an American size 10 depending on the brand), and it's important to also remember that "prehistory" has a wide definition - specifically a 3 million+ year definition. Prehistory covers everything from the first stone tools 3.3 million years ago to maybe somewhere around 5,300 years ago. Kinda. Prehistory means "before written record" and runs through the Stone Age, Bronze Age, and Iron Age, which all end in different places at different times.
So, what this means is that depending on which epoch your civilization falls under, there may absolutely be the necessary agriculture and division of social class that have been brought up.  Narrowing down when and where you are trying to base your worldbuilding in will help you as you develop you characters and do further research on  a variety of issues that may come up.
Another thing to consider is that you're probably not going to be describing your characters as "plus-sized" in your story (and if you did, all your readers would have different concepts about what that actually means), so the clearer your idea of what the characters' body shape (aka "where mass tends to accumulate"), the easier I think it will be for you to describe the character to your reader in a way that expresses what you specifically mean when you're thinking "plus sized." The fashion designer Justine Leconte has a great video to teach people how to recognize different body types using celebrities [Youtube]. It is geared towards fashion and what to wear based on your body type, but the knowledge is still helpful.
You might have seen this post on Tumblr with the body shapes of all the greatest athletes in the world that might also be helpful for you. But ultimately, I stand by my original point. This is a topic that no matter what you choose to do and what evidence you use to back up your choice, some of your audience is going to have a problem with it. So, just create your world and characters as you see them.

Orviax  - Gives More Energy And Power
Tumblr media
This herb is a great testosterone booster. It is known by various names such as Yellow Vine, Puncture Vine, Orviax It is found across various regions in Europe, Asia and Africa. It has been used for hundreds or years in Chine and India to cure erectile and libido problems in men. When trying to develop you muscles, it does take time, but it will work. Well at least it did work for me. Remember have a proper nutrition, do some cardio, take supplements, and workout to get the full affect of your daily routine.
All men love to show off with a good physique and strong curvy muscles. And to gain those enviable muscles you need to do some hard work. Exercises and regular workouts help to build your muscles for sure but when you are getting a muscle building supplement ready at hand, then why not make use of it? The supplements that help to build muscles are simply tools that increase your potentiality to work on the muscles. There are a number of supplements for building muscles. It is a chemical that exists in plants that are under attack from bacteria, fungi or other disease causing pathogens.
Tumblr media
It belongs to a group of compounds known as Orviax , which in plain English, means chemical compounds found in plants. 2) Use compound exercises. To build bigger stronger muscle you must place the specific muscle under a certain degree of strain. If you are doing tricep kick backs and lateral raises all day long your muscles do not come under the necessary strain which is needed to force them to grow. Compound exercises such as your deadlift, squat. bench press, snatch, chin ups, triceps, lunges all incorporate a huge number of muscle fibers and they
stress the muscle and central nervous system. Your body reacts to this strain by releasing growth hormone, Testosterone Booster and also signaling to the body that you need new muscle to cope with the strain. Not using compound exercises will spell the end of muscle gain. Drink More Water Drinking Testosterone Orviax Booster plenty of water and increasing fluid intake can keep your body well hydrated and this has a positive impact on your semen volume. Not just this, you must also avoid drinks that have caffeine in them since they dehydrate your body. You must also avoid alcoholic drinks for the same reason. Vitamins: Orviax garbage type brands.
Tumblr media
I've heard them called "bedpan bullets" because after they don't work, and you're now in the hospital sick, they sound like a bullet when you evacuate them in the bedpan. Buy natural vitamins. A good inexpensive B-complex Sublingual, a decent Multi-vitamin, a multi-mineral. Vitamin C is fantastic. Orviax a day. It's cheap everywhere. For older women, "Natural Progesterone creme" (note the word "NATURAL" - very important. Not synthetic). For older men, testosterone booster creme and saw palmetto. Most everything else you can get from good, fresh food. Orviax Try a salad a day with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The first step that you should take is keep a time aside for daily gym.
Make sure that you are regular in your gym and you really desire to have a great body. You would probably see a lot of people of people working out in the gym without any result. This is because Testosterone Booster they lack enthusiasm. They do it just for the sake of doing. Orviax You should be determined, be your own inspiration if you have committed yourself to something stick with it to the end. I guess we did live by the experience of others, and the first signs that something was up was several friends asking me why I didn't go out so much anymore. In fact I hadn't noticed I was always making an excuse not to go out.
