A, C, F, I, L, O, S, U for fanfic asks 😄

A: How did you come up with the title to Eternal War? >Arro, sadly, thinks that the Sith have a point. Peace is a lie in that it doesn’t last. In the early days he wrestled with this realization, even considering quitting several times during his career. But shortly after the Shadow of Revan incident—and especially Ziost—he decided to pursue a different solution; to try and foster in a peace that would last at least a generation, one which would allow the galaxy to recover and know some regrowth before the next round of Star Wars got started. Eternal War starts with the Eternal Throne conflict, but is supposed to go a lot further. The Alliance, in particular. This is from an IRL reason: I thought that the question of what happens to the Alliance after KOTET deserved some thinking about. Do they just... go back to the Republic or Empire? Have they all gotten hopeful about a real, lasting peace with the other side now that they’ve worked together?  I want to make them a peacekeeping force—peacekeeping in a different sense, they serve as an example of a workable unity. So they don’t necessarily seek out and extinguish the fires of war wherever they spring up; they lay the groundwork for trade and commerce and cooperation between Republic, Empire, and Zakuul. I also have an idea of how long this peace lasts—till Arro and Lana’s Apprentice’s Apprentice, and even how it ends. But I don’t have any plans on writing those stories yet.

C: What member do you identify with most? >Hmmm the answer was Arro in the initial stages... but he became too god-tier. This is also why I don’t write as often from his perspective as the chapters go on.  The one I identify with most right now is Koth; in that he has started questioning his worth, and is trying to find his part in the big world again. He’s a good man and loves his home. He is capable of great loyalty to his comrades so long as they aren’t psychopaths. He loves a woman he knows he can’t be with, but after some initial downward spin he starts moving forward again. He’s reckless, but an everyman hero. As I write him more and more I start to see why an unromanced Lana might possibly end up falling in love with him.

F: Share a snippet from one of your favorite dialogue scenes you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it. >I think it’s the entirety of Chapters 20: Fog and 21: the Mirror from Book II: Mission Scorpion. They show Lana’s guile and skill; she’s sitting right in front of one of the galaxy’s deadliest Sith, impersonating someone he worked with for longer than she has been alive, and he doesn’t even realize it. She gets him to spill his guts. Fog also had my own headcanon of Agent blowing Hunter out of the water in her own game and in his own home territory. I enjoyed writing that scene where Hunter is utterly dumbfounded by how badly the Cabal have been beaten, and I was deeply satisfied with Nine’s final blow: “Keyword: Checkmate!” In 21: the Mirror I wanted Lana to confront her inner self, which has been a little shaken after she spent a little time resurrecting her old and buried life.  This chapter was one I planned out to my complete satisfaction. It has a special place in my heart.

I: Do you have a guilty pleasure in fic (reading or writing)? > Powerful heroes whose conflicts aren’t the enemy in front of them, but their own inner demons. I’m starting to like the idea of heroes who won’t have much character growth in their stories—or at least relatively less growth—because they’re already war vets and know themselves quite well. Now their struggle is how they see and deal with current events with these established characters as their lenses. Not to worry though, they won’t all be ridiculously OP monsters. And I’m also looking at adding in Arro’s missteps and failures through flashbacks and short stories because I’m doing him too much of a disservice ignoring his true growth chapters.

L: How many times do you usually revise your fic/chapter before posting? > Usually review them twice or thrice at best.

O: How do you begin a story–with the plot, or the characters? > Hmmm this is a tough one but I think characters take precedence. As I said, I’m writing a troupe of war veterans and survivors who have been through the works. They won’t be changing *that* much as I write the story, so it’s important I know them well beforehand.

S: Any fandom tropes you can’t resist? >running gags mostly. “Three minutes,” or crashed shuttles. Damn I really wanted to go with the broke Jedi too but can’t believably fit it in since that one mention in Early Book I. White Knights are the class I enjoy best; moral paragons who protect entire civilizations in their shadows, but backed up by comrades and loved ones they trust their souls and dreams with. Writing tropes: I always add descriptors or verbs in twos and threes (like “ And so Baras sweated and paced”,  “ He attempted violently to free himself from the heavy shackles on his wrists, shrieking and roaring like a mad beast.” “ his enemy’s body language hummed a different tune; it was warming up. Toying with him. And relishing in the skewed mismatch.”). A bit embarrassing but I think this little piggy’s here to stay.

U: Share three of your favorite fic writers and why you like them so much. >This is really tough coz there’s so many! I’m going to have to add six instead of three because I cannot decide between these. In no specific order: @kunstpause and @elveny who function as one single writer sometimes but do just as well solo. Their flagship fic—The Precipice of Change—is about their twin Hawkes, Adrienne and Cassia, and the humans behind the title “Champions of Kirkwall”. They deal with themes like addiction, depression, oppressive regimes, and communication failure between two people who love each other to bits (the twins that is) and their effects on both women. @captainderyn, whose characters are so dear to me. She has written them very compellingly. @nusaran whose Skyrim fic has a very fantastic character arc, and whose ‘Marr the Outlander’ fic is equally brilliant. @inyri. She basically inspired me to write, and was kind enough to help my first, shaky steps. Her current story—and the one I read as soon as I see a new update— is about Nine. And finally but not least, @chubbyooo, whose Zandar legacy is full of the most lovable kids I have ever read. Their fic is full of action, laughs, and a very real, strong story-driven plot.

100 Warm Up DnD Character Questions        

1. If your character wasn’t an adventurer, what livelihood would they lead?

Well she’s royalty so I guess she’d go on to be Queen if she stays in her country, but if she forfeits her rule and moves - maybe she’d like to be a politician.

2. Who in the party would your character trust the most with their life?

hmm… to be fair I don’t think she’d willingly trust anyone with her life, a real ‘I’m in charge of me and you’re in charge of you’ type. Though she does on numerous occasions rely on others to save her life one way or another.

3. What are your character’s core moral beliefs?

I would say before her character arc she firmly believes in Good vs. Evil trope, where she believes you’re either good or bad - there’s no moral middle ground. Go big or go home I guess. The only thing I know that over rides this belief is her loyalty, but I’m not sure that’s a moral belief.

4. What relationship does your character have with their parents and siblings?

I think I’ve answered this question before, loves her mother, admires her father, cherishes her older brother, one-sided love with her little sister, and wary but unconditional love for her younger brother.

5. Does your character have any biases for or against certain races?

I would say yes, before her character arc I think she internalises a lot of negativity towards her own people, and others that come from her planet. As well as a select few others that she meets on the new planet. obviously after he character arc, this changes.

6. What is your character’s opinion on nobility? On authority?

As nobility herself I would assume (lol, I say like I didn’t create her tf??), she would firmly believe in being knowledgeable in places of authority or leadership to better the community, country, and/or the people. She’d be very, VERY against corruption in political/authority areas. But otherwise, I think she’d outright assume all people in a position of power are there to do the best they can by the people they serve.

7. Describe your character’s current appearance: clothes, armor, scars they’ve picked up along the journey, etc.

This is actually the hardest thing to me, I have no idea what this bitch wears unless its armour or ceremonial but she’s on a new planet and needs to hide her identity so can’t walk around in clothes more suited to her country and the title she has there. I honestly default her to some type of shorts (probably board shorts for the quick drying) and a t-shirt or singlet with some type of covering garment for when it gets cold. BITCH DOES SHE EVEN WEAR SHOES? idk.

8. What location encountered in the campaign has your character felt the most “at home” in, or just generally liked the most?

… Actually haven’t thought about this… it’s because i’m a shit writer.

9. What deity, if any, does your character worship? What’s their opinion on other people’s worship?

I think, due to her home-planets current political sphere that she doesn’t have or believe in any deity. However, her friends on the new planet have like a million religions. I think broadly speaking she’s accepting as she does know what religion/worship is and its personal importance but doesn’t KNOW know. And then it’s just a lot of confusion having never been taught any religion or worship outside of royal gossip. So confused, but happy about it.

10. If your character had time to pick up any artisan’s tools, game set, instrument, etc., what would it be?

A flute maybe? idky, coz I said so, I guess. 

11. Describe your character’s current relationship with the player character sitting to your right.

Bring peace.

I guess, maybe faaaaaar in the future though.

Ya, the kind of love you don’t realise until the person is gone.

15. What battle in the campaign has been most memorable to your character?

I’m translating this for a book so I’d say maybe the first battle that’s fought on page, just because so much goes wrong and that’s where she finds out who/what she’s really facing. Either that, or whatever ‘battle’ went on off page as she was previously banished and I’m just trying to figure out ‘exactly’ what happened, did I mention i’m a terrible writer yet?

16. If your character wasn’t whatever class they are, what would they be instead?

So like, if they weren’t born into royalty?? Ah, I guess the bitch would be poor then… or a soldier, though I guess still poor.

17. What is your character’s favorite season?

Think I’ve answered this before and said winter, so … Winter!

18. What would your character’s Zodiac sign be, following stereotypical astrology?

Okay, so I just had to read through a list of personality traits for the zodiacs to answer this question and now want to answer for all five mains, so:

Travelling is like a really easy thing to do in my book so... I wouldn’t know... maybe the Pixie Palace (it’s not as cliche as it sounds I just can’t figure out a better name).

20. What is the biggest mistake your character has ever made?

oooooooh, idk fuck, I’M SUCH A BAD WRITER!

21. Does your character have any noticeable scars? If so, what are their stories?

Her eye? fucked up ‘transport’ during escape.

22. What animal best represents your character?

am i allowed to say idk, idc? coz - idk and idc.

23. If your character could go back in time and change one thing about their life, what would it be?

I feel like this is a question I’ve already answered but I can’t remember... Maybe she might change her banishment (so she doesn’t get banished) although I feel like whatever she got banished for would have to have something to do with her immovable morals so?? Man, idk i’m a crappy writer who doesn’t think about the characters enough to know all this. Maybe she’d take back the fact that she screwed up the transport during her escape which got almost a hundred of her allies killed for nothing, or change who she brought to the first battle/how she went about preparing everyone for that moment so even more meaningless death didn’t happen (ooh, did I just answer q.20 on accident???)

24. Which other player character does your character find themselves having the most in common with?

I think she’s very different to the other characters, both in upbringing and personality. Of course there’s some intersecting like being as aggressive as ME, or being immature and prone to lapses in judgement like HH, or wanting nothing more that to help everyone like M. I would say the easier(/better?) question would be who she has the least in common with being Julian, I just think they don’t really have a lot in common, age is diff, hobbies are diff, perspectives on life are diff, goals are diff etc...

25. Does your character regret any particular choice the party has made?

Everything that took place before the first ‘battle’, just because they didn’t screen their inductees better, didn’t teach them properly or make sure everytone was on the same page and communicating with one another, lots of logistics problems before the first battle and the cost of those mistakes were pretty big so, I’d say she regrets that.

Quick Thoughts on TRR Book 2 Chapter 16

WHAT URGENT MATTER WHICH URGENT MATTER. LIAM YOU SHOULD TELL ME THESE THINGS.

• Maxwell since when was Bertrand a ‘calm presence’ 😂

• “No plots, schemes or blonde-haired barriers in the way!” Bertrand tells me. You sure about that boi? Coz everytime someone says something won’t happen in this book, it fucking happens 😑

• MAXWELL SINCE WHEN WAS ME ACCEPTING A PROPOSAL IN MY WAITRESS UNIFORM A GOOD IDEA

• When in doubt (and in NY getting engaged) dress like a New York skyscraper

• I had thought the Bertrand Savannah story would be over by now, but it isn’t. Far from it. But from what I gather - he seems to a. think that restoring Beaumont House’s glory comes first, b. feel that his love for Savannah (he does mention that he “treasures” her messages) is a distraction, c. deems himself a failure. There are some pieces to this puzzle missing and methinks we’ll find them all only in Book 3.

Legit. This right here is how my MC ended up head over heels for him.

• Liam: You radiated…possibility.

I believe at some point in the chapter, Liam highlights this as true not only in his own case, but applies it to how she changed Drake’s, Hana’s and Maxwell’s lives as well. I love that even in this, he doesn’t want to think only of himself. He sees how the MC has influenced his friends as well.

• I love how all our choices in Book 1 have been incorporated in this chapter.

• My favourite sequence in the chapter thus far is when Liam tells us about how he met the rest of the gang. It really does give us an idea of their background and history, and why they all really worked as a team, a unit, a group.

•

The first thing that came to my mind was how Maxwell was the first person to recognize the effect the MC had on Liam, way before even Drake did. He was the first to realise that Liam had found in the MC something he’d never had before, and thought to himself “I don’t want Liam to lose that”. It makes his first invitation to Cordonia that much more poignant, IMO.

• Lol I love how both Liam and Drake’s friendship is comprised entirely of them repeatedly rescuing each other 😂 They’re each other’s Knights in Shining Armour lol.

• OMG I FEEL SO VALIDATED BY WHAT LIAM SAID ABT HIS FRIENDSHIP WITH HANA?? I’D BEEN SAYING THIS SINCE BEFORE BOOK 2 CAME OUT OMG THANK YOU FOR CONFIRMING LIAM xD

• “Even back then…I knew [Hana and I] would be kindred spirits” - PREACH BRUH THATS WHAT I SAID

• Soooo this time’s diamond option is purely sexytimes, with a side order of Lady Liberty trivia. (the lightning one sounds ominous and symbolic of Liam in some ways). I’m okay with that because I really liked the non-diamond journey that preceded it, I thought that was a beautiful way to retrace their steps to the very beginning of their journey together.

• Also. As I have said before. Cordonian men have a thing for pinning their women to walls 😂

• This comes up if the MC speaks about Lady Liberty being struck by lightning 600 times.

Liam says the MC represents possibility. The MC says this. The Bad is gonna happen fam. In the Finale 😭😭😭

• Yknow there are several ways this could go down:

1. An assassination

2. A coup

3. Possible leaking of Constantine’s involvement in the conspiracy, leading to people losing their faith completely in Liam. It would take a great amount of effort for Liam to win his people’s trust, all through no fault of his own 😭

I hate option 1 but at least I hate it the least 😭😭😭 I’d much rather Liam get heroically injured than emotionally and publically torn apart like that 😭😭😭😭

• MADELEINE KNOWS SOMETHING.

• MAYBE REGINA KNOWS SOMETHING TOO IDK. MAYBE EVEN ADELEIDE KNOW SOMETHING. OR NOT. IM SO CONFUSED.

• If you reject Liam’s proposal, the resulting behaviours from the MC’s side are highly problematic:

1. She does it NOW when this man is on his one knee with a ring. Imagine how much more poignant and beautiful this admission would have been if they let you say it way back at the balcony. Imagine having the opportunity to tell Liam you love someone else at that point, seeing him conflicted, sad, confused - BUT AT LEAST he knows the stakes and knows it involves you finally going to the love interest of your choice in the end. Imagine him saying “I’m hurt, and sad, but that’s not what matters. What matters is that we clear your name.” How much more poignant that scene would have been. How much richer would it have made Liam’s story with you even if you weren’t pursuing him. It would allow him to maybe explore other options with other people. And it would be completely in character for him to let go that way. The MC, Liam and all the LIs would have wound up all looking good. Having it stretch out this far and crushing him like this is great drama but it makes the MC look like a complete tool. ESP when Liam offers her a duchy and her response is to be happy. HAPPY. “Sure I trampled your heart on my high heels but LAND. TITLES. MY OWN COAT OF ARMS. YAY. Who cares about you boo?”

2. Having the option of kissing him, and having sex with him, even though you have rejected him. Sure, Liam tries to make us feel better about initiating by bringing up the way Cordonia secretly does relationships, but in this case they don’t have consent from the LIs. She’s telling him she wants to have sex with him, at a time when he is vulnerable, desperately in love, still not over her, shocked and confused. That’s manipulative on levels I can’t even begin to describe. There should have allowed Liam to pull a Zig here, not continue placing her on a pedestal. Zig wants the TF MC, and he makes his feelings very clear to her while playing pool, but if she chooses to cheat on her LI with him he makes it very clear how absolutely callous that is on both him and the other LI. It makes it clear that this choice - taken with no one’s consent, and obviously focussed just on her own needs without caring whether other people will get hurt in the process - is wrong. He lets her know her behavior was terrible. Liam would have been well within his rights to tell the MC that too.

At the very least they could have had Liam bring the polyamorous option up and THEN state “but hey, you shitty person, we don’t have Drake/Hana/Maxwell’s say on this yet”.

This isn’t in any way comparable to the Liam/Madeleine/MC situation. Liam was in a forced arrangement, one that he had been clearly manipulated into. Liam had Madeleine’s explicit consent, and got the MC’s as well, before moving forward. Plus he never intended to keep the arrangement with Madeleine, hoping to break it when the MC’s name was cleared (a promise he acted upon and fulfilled immediately, might I add). Here, the MC and Liam are free, as are the other LIs, and they have nothing holding them back. And as I mentioned earlier there is no explicit consent from the LIs, the way there was with Madeleine. Liam is a guy who stayed ridiculously faithful to the MC from the moment she entered the competition, didn’t even look in the direction of the rest of the competition when he was well within his rights to. Ignored Madeleine to a large extent the whole duration of their engagement. Basically ONLY lavished attention, love and devotion to the MC. What about this guy screams “yeah let’s bang without consent from the ppl you’re actually in love with” to you?

• Liam is not the one with the problem here. Nor is the player. The problem is the writing and the game.

• This is an obvious attempt at cashgrab. Now that we will begin to go official with our LIs, how are we going to buy ALL the exclusive LI scenes the way we’ve been doing so far? They can’t completely diverge the stories the way they did with RoE (RoE could afford to do this because there were other characters and storylines we could find ourselves invested in, so restricting it to just one LI in Book 3 was okay), nor can they do what they’re currently doing in TS or ES or LH because the relationship dynamics in this book are vastly different. So they bring up this piss poor excuse so that they can still manage to make sex scenes with the LIs possible even if you’re supposed to be going official with them by the end of the book. Ick. All it does is leave a bad taste in my mouth.

“Matty! Listen, I need to ask a huge favor!” your hand clutched the phone to your ear as butterflies flew in your stomach.

Tonight was to be the first date you’d be going on since…well, ever. This was in fact the first date you’d be going on and your nerves were at an all time high. Not only had you never been on a real date, but you’d never been kissed or kissed anyone.

“Y/N? What’s wrong?” Matt could always sense your nerves.

You and Matt had been best friends since you were using training wheels, one never without the other. The tall blonde was always there to for you, whether it be to tutor you in physics or watch late night toons and eat grilled cheese with you. Matt was always your number one.

“I really don’t wanna say it over the phone, but can you please come over? It’s an emergency!” You didn’t want to beg, but you would if necessary.

“Uhm yeah, I’ll be over in ten minutes!” With a small crash from his end, the line disconnected. You shook your head at how clumsy he could be.

You walked over to your vanity, already dressed and primped for the night. Your hair was put up into a simple up-do with strands falling and framing your face, makeup simple with a touch of lip gloss and mascara.

You’d met Poe from history class, starting off as each other’s study buddies for Mr. Lando’s topic on the first world war. He had been super awesome with sharing his notes with you and helping you to grasp the dates and times for the upcoming test.

Before you knew it Poe had asked you to grab some dinner with him at the local diner. This was the first time a boy who wasn’t out to get in your pants had truly shown interest in you. He was polite, charming, funny and super cute in a very rugged way.

Rewind to what any of this had to do with Matt.

You didn’t trust anyone more than you trusted Matt and if anyone was gonna be your first kiss, it might as well be him. You’d pondered looking up YouTube tutorials on how to kiss, but nothing could ever beat a physical demonstration.

“Y/N?” Matt’s voice rang from downstairs.

“Up here, Matty!” You answered.

You began to smooth out your dress hearing his footsteps get closer to your room. Your turned around just in time to see Matt stand in the doorway of your room still in his orange work uniform, did he ever stop working?

“Thank god you’re here, Matty.” Your greeting went unnoticed by Matt whose view was in tunnel vision and directly focused on you. You looked absolutely breath taking, not that he didn’t think that way of you all the time, but…you were almost glowing.

He tried in vain to close his mouth before mentally slapping himself, he must have looked like a dumb ass…again.

“So you’re probably wondering why I called you here.” You pretended not to notice his momentary lapse in response. “I didn’t really know who else to trust.” You started to ring your hands together.

“Y/N, you know you can trust me. What ever it is, you can tell me.” The sweat of his palms would beg to disagree. No, whatever it was he could handle it.

“I’m going on a date tonight…”

“…and I need you to teach me how to kiss.”

If his mouth hand hung open before, his jaw was on the damn floor now. She was going on a date? She wanted to kiss him? All those rumors about him being a robot might be true because he could feel his brain malfunctioning. He ran his hand through his blonde curls to make sure no wires were sparking before sitting himself down on your bed.

Okay, no wires and no sparks. That meant that everything you just said was real. Sure the kissing part made him nervous, but he’d be lying if he never thought about dipping you in his arms and planting a passionate kiss on your lips. Matt had always had a crush on you ever since you were small, always trailing after you like the tall, blonde, orange fluff he was.

By the time you both reached high school it only became clearer that he was in love with you, always finding new ways to see and hang out with you through tutoring or ‘forgetting’ to pack a lunch. Being in your senior year together only made it more obvious that college was quickly approaching and he’d need to spend as much time with you as he could.

But now you were going on a date…with someone that wasn’t him and he really didn’t know what to say or do without acting like a jealous prick.

“Matty?” You knew this was a dumb idea, the poor boy wouldn’t even look at you now. “Hey listen, forget I said anything. It was a stupid idea…” You trailed off and played with your dress to distract yourself. “I just didn’t wanna look like an idiot, seems like I already am.” You whispered.

Your tone of voice had Matt looking up and his heart nearly shattered at how small you looked. You began to chew on your lip and walk towards the vanity before he stopped you.

“NO!” His yell had your startled when you turned to look at him. “I mean, you’re not an idiot. I didn’t respond because- because the…atmosphere isn’t right.” He mentally smacked himself.

“Y- you need to have a romantic atmosphere to perform a great kiss.” He stuttered out.

He quickly stood up and rummaged around in the fanny pack he always had clipped to his waist, pulling out a lighter and going to your book case to retrieve some candles. Lighting the lavender wicks he carried them over to your bedside table and set them down.

After arranging them in a perfect manner he made his way over to your CD player, flicking through the selections available and settling on one in particular. He flicked through the song titles before choosing one and immediately ran over to your light switch to dim the lights.

“W- what are you doing?” His brow furrowed. You pressed send and tossed the phone back onto your bed before gently clasping his chin and pressing a slow peck to his lips. You broke the kiss and smiled at him.

“I don’t think I’ll need that date after all.” Your hand moved to his cheek to stroke with your thumb. His face lit up in that signature goofy grin you loved as he moved in to kiss you again, your finger coming up to press to his lips.

His face started to look panicked before you reached up to remove his glasses and gently toss them onto the bed. Your arms coming back up to wrap around his shoulders.

“Much better.” You pressed your lips back to his and felt him smile into the kiss before wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you onto his lap.

But after his last film pyar ki ye ek kahani which was a blockbuster, all the tickets were completely booked on the first day. But now I don't need any ticket!! I have pass for the premiere!! I was on seventh heaven. I would catch the glimpse of him even closer this time. I immediately opened my wardrobe and began choosing dresses. Nothing is just… ufff  I was constantly cursing under my breath. Such a big occasion and I have got nothing decent to wear. Finally I picked up the dress that I wore to the sets for the first time when I went to meet him. That day I can never forget. Shooting had to be stopped abruptly due to increasing crowd. I tried to look my best that day and today I'll wear the same again since it's the best dress I combed my hair and instead of wearing a in a braid I just tied in a pony. I saw many of the celebrities who attended to watch the most awaited film of the year. It was already declared a hit by many. The producer was on the profit side even before the film released. Buyers and distributors were banking on it. My seat was on the thirty sixth row. Yet I wasn't disappointed. I kept my autograph book ready. The film started, titles scrolled. But RK was nowhere to be seen. Where is he? Late for premiere?  I wondered. No, no, perhaps he is struck in traffic,  I told myself. Then I could hear the crowd screaming.. RK… RK… only RK's name was on everyone's lips. He entered the hall with his four bodyguards who were trying to keep the people from throwing themselves on him. My heart skipped the beat seeing the Greek God before me. Impeccably dressed in black Armani, he looked stunning. His chiseled jaw, wet spray set hair whose few stands were playing on his broad forehead and how can one miss his hypnotic ice blue eyes that had the dangerously captivating power. RK, Rishabh Kumar is an epitome of dreams for which you would have both ishq and junoon. I joined the crowd too, just to get an autograph. But everything in vain. He set his steps quickly to the VIP section and the crowd remained back. So did I. I couldn't completely concentrate on the film. Though I was involved in it more than anyone else in the hall. Yet my gazes were shifting to and from RK's side to the screen. The film was over. I ran outside where he would be soon leaving from. Everything was the same, the crowd, the rope fencing, the securitymen controlling; definitely no chance of getting autograph. No, I can't miss the chance today, I told myself. God Gracious! It's raining now. I waited still until RK left in his car. "RK… RK…" I called out and rushed forward pushing the crowd. But the security didn't allow me to go further. And alas! At last he left. I walked home back in despair. Neither I could see the film properly nor I could reach RK. As looked at my watch it was already too late. My mobile stopped working as it got drenched in rain. So did I. My perfectly dress is now wet. I called for many autos but I could catch one. Then I decided to take a shortcut walking back. I was crossing the road when I heard a horn. My eyes went blur due to rain and light, perhaps the headlight of the car. I panicked and as a result fell down, my heart was thumping irregularly. Am I hit? "hey you… driver check the lady out.." If anything had happened to you then Sir will get into controversy" he said worried, "and so does my job and life" -"no, I'm fine" I said brushing my elbows unable to see the fretting of the man, then what followed made me dumbstruck. My gaze shifted to the car and I saw him out of it. RK! a soft whisper escaped my lips. My mind has already transported to la-la land. He was just few feet away from me. "can I drop you somewhere?" he said. I nodded subconsciously. I'm sure I'm hit. And I'm in heaven. This isn't true, is it? I sat in his car and gained my senses due to the driver's voice, "where madam?" "Borivalli" I said. Few minutes passed in silence. Neither he spoke nor did I. My Prince Charming is before me and me, a certified chatter box is short of words? Finally I decided to start the conversation. Afterall this is once in a lifetime moment. I unzipped my bag and took out my slam book. -"autograph please" I offered him. He looked at me with certain attitude. -"so, finally you got chance. Last time, at the set you missed me" he said with his eyes on the book and signing. I was taken aback by his works. that means…. -"you have noticed me that day?" I asked eagery, "and you remember too" -"ofcourse" he closed the book, "how can I forget such a pretty.." he paused and looked at me, "dress" he completed. "you have worn the same the last time. I saw in the rear view mirror while leaving" he said giving my book back. -"oh!" I said. It was embarrassing, he noticed my dress but didn't spare a look at me? But hey! He remembered. He remembered me. He saw me that day! And what I examined closely were his expressions. Honesly, there were no expressions on his face. Myriad of emotions he shows on-screen had none. He was blank. And his straight face was somehow disturbing to me. Is this what people call attitude? -"I can't believe I'm sitting next to you. This happens only in dreams" I said blushing like a schoolgirl. -"this happens in films too" he said. Ofcourse like hero, heroine, rain and lift. Not surprised. I have heard he speaks quick and crisp. Finally the car halted at the starting of my house lane. So soon! I didn't feel like going. I got out and waved my hand in goodbye. Words died at that moment for me. Parting is always difficult isnt it? Before leaving I heard him say, "you are pretty and unforgettable" My jaw dropped on his confession as the car zoomed out of my sight. It was a drive to remember coz it happens only in dreams, oh yes and in films too. Jin.

So my friend and I were out driving his car and when he got out at a store, I hopped in the driver's seat. I have a class 5 license, so it's all legal there. We weren't speeding or doing anything illegal, we had nothing to hide, so everything was legit. However, pulling out of a four-way, an officer pulled us over because our tail lights were busted. Of course, I had no idea and basically the officer just issued a warning to my friend (he's the owner of the car, so he did most of the talking). The question concerning me is that my son did not pay anything for the car he was driving because it was given to him by my daughter. The car has a salvage title because it had apparently been totalled before but had been restored.
