The Kissing Booth 💋💋 ( Movie V/s Books ):I have been a great fan of TKB franchise ever since Netflix released it in 2018. For those of you'll who haven't watched the three part film series or read the books , lemme tell you the story in short. TKB ( The Kissing Booth) is the story of two high school juniors , Rochelle "Elle" Evans and Lee Flynn and how their friendship dates back to the very day they were born at the same time and have been inseparable ever since and were practically raised like twins. But things go down the wrong way when Elle and Lee's brother- Noah, enter into a budding romantic relationship after kissing at the Homecoming fundraising Kissing Booth , while hiding this from Lee (as a certain rule in their list specified that dating relatives wasn't allowed). I kinda have mixed thoughts about the movies. The three part film series started off great. I have literally watched the TKB 1 more than 10 times. The story also had this unique idea of a "Friendship Rule List" . But by the time we reached the third movie, that particular list was became plot disaster. It was really cute to see the blooming teenage romance between Noah and Elle until it gets real toxic. They both become insecure and jealous of each other's close friends and eventually break up multiple times. Also I don't know why the movie didn't show the development of Elle and Lee's friendship, which was supposed to be the central idea of the film. And as for the books , I liked them better. The book is not based on the movie ( except the third one ) and has an independent plotline , although the basics stay the same. The books didn't have anything about that Rule list and hence Noah wasn't off limits for Elle. She srsly tried to hide it from Lee to save their friendship.
