We talk a lot about sandwiches, but what's your favorite sandwich (like the real thing you eat 😆).

I love it! Oh, gosh. I'm a sandwich whore really, in every sense of the word. As we all know, I don't like to limit myself - so let me give you a top 5 of my faves, just because I'm high and feel like talking about food:
All Out: First of all, nice bread - some Calabrese bread, or a crunchy French baguette, or pita bread (ideally extra toasted if pita). Then start with a little mixed greens, add proscuitto, mozarrella, olive oil, tomato, maybe some sprouts on top too. And maybe some pesto or fresh basil, too. DELICIOUS.
Simple: nice fresh bread (or toasted), Gouda cheese (proper Gouda, so that means you get one of those large chunks at Costco or a cheese store. Gouda slices at Aldi are also acceptable), sliced tomato, pepper & salt.
Easiest: look, I've always liked avocado on toast because it requires no brainpower, but when I saw the Snack Wars video I decided to try it the way he mentions - mashed with a little olive oil and salt. Y'all... it's so good. It's better than any other avocado variant. Why did it take me so long to discover this?
4. Bagels. Ideally an Everything bagel (sesame will do too) with cream cheese and smoked salmon and thinly sliced red onion (no capers).
5. My go to: what I probably eat the most (aside from nr 2) is toasted bread with soft goat's cheese (again, Costco, it's the only affordable place for it), and then pile on whatever else is in the fridge. Tomatoes, cucs, spinach, pickley thingies sometimes, salad, sprouts, or a sliced soft boiled egg, bellpeppers... etc. A good way to get some veggies in.
As for other sandwiches, obviously Frankie and Santiago. 🥪 But probably everybody knows that at this point.

3. what’s your favorite candle scent?
*screechy halt*... errrr, i don't think i have one? i don't burn candles that often and when i do, not for that long because i read a thing some years ago about all the shit that you breathe in if you're in a room that's not very well ventilated and you've got a scented candle going and it kinda freaked me out
13. what’s your comfort food?
ok, so one thing about me? i loooove food 😁 i don't have a specific comfort food because every food is comfort food if you have a craving and it hits the spot and makes you do a happy wiggle on the inside (and maybe outside too)
so here's a list of things i love to eat and will be happy to eat repeatedly for several meals in a row:
pasta with chicken spinach and cream (the spinach and cream sauce the meat comes with is cooked with LOADS of garlic and some splashes of white whine) and everything gets mixed together. if you have a mozarrella to melt into it, even better, it reheats SO WELL, but it also amazing cold.

eggy knedlíky with kimcchi
we make knedlíky (it's usually translated as dumplings but they're not the type of thing most people would see when the word dumplings is mentioned... there's different types but the one im thinking of is more white-bread like and is used as a vehicle to carry our veloute-style sauces into our mouths... usually, there's extra and they get a bit stale - so you cut them up, soak them in egg and fry them and usually you want some acidity to go with it, and i discovered that kimcchi goes REALLY well with them

24. what’s something you do to de-stress?
so... presumably if the stress wasn't caused by a prolonged period of procrastination and now i have to fucking go-go-go regardless of whether im feeling nice things about it:
i might watch these videos as i completely disengage my brain (tho sometimes the ending really irritates me because you just made all these things why are you cutting into them like this? you're not gonna eat all of that rn, stop pretending, are you wasting food????) but sometimes it's relaxing
if there's a nice book/fic to be read, and some wine that's also a nice solution
i really like very hot bubblebaths but i haven't found a way to enjoy a bubble bath when it's not autumn or winter
lost to raiden shogun about 2 or 3 times and had to cook a lot of food thankfully i had enoug adeptus temptation to spare and some heal foods to go around and finally beat her around the 4th time but- but do you know what happened after the cutscene of yae miko and ei talking- after the end cutscene for the inazuma archon quest? for me?
it fucks up. and when i check back in again since it was loading a bit too long- i’m back at the narukami shrine, and do you know what i see? in my little bitty ass quest corner? “talk to ei in the plane of euthymia”.
i lost all my progress. fucking going to kill someone. thankfully i managed to beat and this was the final time i had to endure her stupid fucking electro attacks.
no more bullshit ei fights in plane of euthymia. thank fuck.
and post inazuma archon quest i decided to ten pull on baizhu’s banner bc i want kaveh so bad and because i’ve been saving primos for him since the banner was up and babygirl kaveh was there- and do you know what 4 star shit i get? a fucking weapon 4 star. not kaveh. a fucking 4 star weapon.
I am so distraught. I can’t fucking believe this. I hope i get him next time though.

What’s the most ideal thing that could happen to you in this very moment?
There’s an urgent, unexpected knock at the front door. I glance at the clock. “How strange,” I think to myself. I peek out through the glass, and I can see a pizza delivery man standing on the porch looking back over his shoulder at his parked car.
“You’ve got the wrong house!” I call out as I unlock the door. He turns his head back in my direction and flashes a smile.
“You sure? It’s already paid for.”
I pause, startled—he looks exactly like Milo Ventimiglia, circa 2010-ish. He holds the receipt out for me to examine, and I realize that whoever purchased this pizza also included two full orders of mozzarella sticks.
“Listen,” he interjects, cutting through the electric silence like a pizza wheel slicing through a savory blend of four different cheeses. “Whoever ordered this didn’t leave a phone number, so you’d really be helping me out if you took it.”
I surprise myself with what comes out of my mouth next. “They didn’t leave a number? That’s a shame. Do you want mine instead?”
He grins, and then glances down at the carry-out containers in his hands. “Are you going to eat these mozarrella sticks by yourself?”
I got her a much bigger new pot, better soil, spent fifteen minutes picking all the leaves that looked like they were dying or just too big (which I bought mozarrella for) and talking to her because I think that's good for plants, please pray
