Spoilers for Umbrella Academy season 3!

I felt like the scene where Viktor comes out to Allison is great and Luther's response of wanting to throw a party is perfectly on brand, but the scene where he talks to his other brothers in the hotel is awkwardly written and super hasty, so I rewrote it. It absolutely doesn't fit in with the rest of the plot (except Klauses stuff) but that's fine because the plot this season is fucking terrible and I literally dont care. Anyway enjoy this quick fanfic.

Viktor nervously announces to his table of brothers. "Actually it's uh...its Viktor now. It's who I've always been. Is that ...alright with everybody?"

Klaus lazily saunters over to embrace him "Oh thank goodness, now I finally have a brother who will pursue the finer things in life with me"

Viktor rolls his eyes knowingly "I don't want to go shopping for weird hats with you"

"Then what good are you?" Klaus says, angrily dropping the hug.

"Congrats kid, maybe as a man you won't cause the apocalypse again. Mozeltov!" 5 says, handing him a drink, clicking glasses, and downing it before Viktor can even respond.

Viktor takes a tentative sip just to acknowledge the toast, it's straight up scotch, of course.

Diego holds his brothers hands tenderly. "Thank you for choosing the name Viktor, I don't think I could have survived not being the only Diego."

Viktor looking deeply confused asks "Why would I choose y..."

He's cut off by Diego sweeping him into a big, slightly sharp hug. "Because I have the coolest name already. Duh."

Diego and Klaus begin to shout "Brothers! Brothers!" While 5 pounds the table in rhythm to the chant.

"Oh my god!" An ecstatic Klaus bounces up and down with a realization. "He can finally play knife monopoly with us!"

Five furiously protests "No no no absolutely fucking not! I thought you idiots would have stopped playing that when we were kids"

"I'm gonna go find a monopoly set, this is my favorite game!" Diego yells, busting out the doors of the hotel and careening away.

"I'm sorry, play what?!?!" Viktor says scrunching up his face.

Klaus happily explains "It's basically just monopoly but Diego throws knives at us if we piss him off! We didn't invite the lady bunch because young Viktor didn't have powers to survive it and Allison always rumored us to let her win."

5 sighs " Yep and exactly how many times have you been stabbed playing this?"

Klaus smiles wistfully "14. I'm either really great at regular Monopoly or really bad at knife Monopoly. I'm gonna go find some kevlar!" He scurries away into the hotel.

5 slaps Viktor on the back. "I'm gonna take this bottle of scotch and not be here when Stabby McDumbass gets back. Welcome to brotherhood kid, good luck." He laughs, teleporting away.

"Welcome to brotherhood I guess…" Viktor gives a deep stressful sigh and downs the rest of the glass of scotch. "There's no way in hell I'm playing knife monopoly" He whispers, running off to hide.

I thought when people said ‘mozeltov’ they were referencing burning a house down or something but recently my boss (who is incredibly Jewish) told me “no, it means congratulations, but having a word that specifically means the act of committing arson is something I wish we Jews had.
