Buckingham Palace

The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs Kim Keon Hee today commenced a State Visit to The King and Queen.

The Prince and Princess of Wales welcomed The President and Mrs Kim on behalf of The King at the Four Seasons Hotel, 10 Trinity Square, London EC3.

The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs Kim Keon Hee, accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses, drove to Horse Guards and were met by The King and Queen.

The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs Kim Keon Hee, accompanied by The King and Queen, drove in a Carriage Procession to Buckingham Palace with a Sovereign’s Escort of the Household Cavalry.

Gun Salutes were fired in Green Park by The King’s Troop, Royal Horse Artillery, and at the Tower of London by the Honourable Artillery Company.

Guards of Honour were provided at Horse Guards by F Company Scots Guards and at Buckingham Palace by 1st Battalion Welsh Guards.

His Majesty’s Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms, The King’s Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard and a Detachment of Household Cavalry were on duty.

The King presented The President of the Republic of Korea with the Insignia of an Honorary Knight Grand Cross of the Civil Division of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath.

The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs Kim Keon Hee, accompanied by The Duke of Gloucester, this afternoon visited the Korean War Memorial, Victoria Embankment Gardens, London SW1, where The President and Mrs Kim laid a wreath and His Royal Highness, Patron, the British Korean Veterans Association, also laid a wreath.

The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs Kim Keon Hee subsequently met United Kingdom Korean War veterans.

The President and Mrs Kim afterwards drove to Westminster Abbey where His Excellency laid a wreath at the Grave of the Unknown Warrior.

The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs Kim Keon Hee met General Sir Adrian Bradshaw (Governor of the Royal Hospital Chelsea) and In-Pensioners who fought in the Korean War, before touring the Abbey, escorted by the Dean (the Very Reverend Dr David Hoyle).

The President and Mrs Kim afterwards drove to the Palace of Westminster and were received by the Lord Speaker (the Lord McFall of Alcluith) and the Speaker of the House of Commons (the Rt Hon Sir Lindsay Hoyle).

The Speaker welcomed The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs Kim Keon Hee and His Excellency delivered an Address.

The President and Mrs Kim subsequently attended a Reception with Peers, Members of Parliament and other guests.

The Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt MP (Chancellor of the Exchequer) had an audience of The King this afternoon.

The Lord Hodge (Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland) was received by His Majesty and reported on the recent proceedings of the General Assembly.

The King and Queen gave a State Banquet this evening in honour of The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs Kim Keon Hee at which The Prince and Princess of Wales, The Duchess of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were present.

Felix grinned as Taeyong opened the door, holding up a bag of pastries and drink tray from the bakery. "I brought breakfast!" He announced happily, seeming very pleased with himself. Taeyong had been working so hard at the studio, so he wanted to give his hyung some treats and help get his day off to a good start.

His smile only grew when he walked into the apartment and set the breakfast down, at which point Taeyong opened his arms for a hug. He wrapped his arms tight around the older male, letting out a content little sigh. After a little while, he reluctantly pulled away so that he could begin unpacking the treats he had bought. "What do you feel like? I have some sweet stuff, some more savory stuff- and hot chocolate, of course!"

"Oft, it's okay, I got you-" Rowoon just manages to gasp out as a body slams into his chest and long arms instinctively wind around the young man who'd run full pelt at him away from a barking dog. He's winded, as he looks over at the chained mutt, barking and snarling in their direction, before he yelps one or two octaves higher then his usual range as a hand touches his back and the feeling of being dunked in fresh ice water shoots up his spine.

"A-Ah cold!... Cold!" He yelps in surprise, his eyes widening and back jarring a little with a wiggle as even just the demigod's hand pressed to his shirt covered back had transferred a power manifested by surprise and fear.

He was thankful for the help he received. His head went blank in that moment of panic when he found his dog injured in the park only after a few minutes of being unsupervised. Who or what attacked him was still a missing piece in the puzzle, the blood that tinted the white fur meant a severe wound, and, somehow, the steps he had to follow using his common sense vanished. Raiden sighed deeply, sitting down on the couch next to the other after accommodating his companion as best as he could in that provisional bed he made. "Thank you for helping us, I didn't know what to do when I saw him like that," he glanced up at the other, offering him a small smile. "We were lucky the vet was rather close, and he got treated right away... It's just that... It makes me so angry! I wasn't there to see what happened or to prevent it!" His dog was precious to him, his loyal and loving companion had always been there for him, and the attack, Raiden took it personally.

Dang it. Maybe Chani doesn’t give Taeyong enough credit. The guy must really have a lot of talent if all it took was for the owner of Loco Motion to know something was off was just to watch the young demigod dance. 

Chani had just thew something together. it was one of those nights where he wanted to work deep into the night, after closing hours just working all these thoughts and emotions into his craft because it just felt better to release it that way. The song had just ended but as he’s being held he gets the feeling that Taeyong caught a lot of just what that song meant.  It does get him emotional, wrapping his arms around the older, but he does his best to keep it together. “Hyung..I thought you left already what are you doing here?” he asks wanting to try and dodge what he feels he knows Taeyong might ask him.

The sadness in his voice is enough to make Jinsoul pause, lower lip caught between her teeth as she stands in the doorway of the unilluminated studio. Certainly he hadn't meant to be caught alone in the darkness of the mirrored room. It was late and she had only stopped by to practice in the company of her reflection, familiar with the desire for solitude.

...but she also understood the quiet, painful fear of being alone.

Letting her duffle slide from her shoulder, the light thump of it loud between them, the ballerina comes silently to stand before him. For a few moments she lets her eyes adjust to the dark, peering at Taeyong until she lifts a hand to tuck a few stray pieces of hair behind one ear. If he needs someone near Jinsoul may not be the first one he might have chosen, but beneath the bubbly exterior is an unexpected gentleness

he’s checked, and then he’s double checked, and he’s absolutely certain he’s never seen this man before in his life - or at least hasn’t interacted with him - so he’s entirely not sure where this seeming blame comes from.

“i’m sorry,” he says, but his voice indicates that he’s not sorry at all and it’s not an actual apology, rather a prelude to his next words. “but considering we are total strangers i think that is only more than normal.” he raises his eyebrows lightly at the young man standing there. “i don’t consider it my responsibility to look after your things. you may have asked me to, but you didn’t give me the time to tell you i would not.”

he takes a moment to let his gaze go over the things in the man’s hands and then frowns.

“it doesn’t appear that something’s missing, though,” he adds then. “so i fail to see your issue with me. my business at that place was concluded so i left. i don’t see where you found the idea that you are allowed people’s time just because you asked.”

osiris raises an eyebrow at the almost threatening words coming from the young demigod across from him, but his expression is still set in a soft and warm little smile, his gaze sparkling with his interest in this situation.

“i am a god of resurrection,” he says with a little shrug of his shoulders, like that explains everything and makes it so there’s no room for any other protests. “try me.”

he still holds out his hands, arms open in an invite to give the young man a hug, which had been rejected on the grounds of the cold possibly freezing him to death and how he wouldn’t be able to hold on long enough to be any sort of solace to the youth.

little does this one know that the body he’s currently walking around in used to be very dead indeed and he brought it back to perfect, peak health to walk around in himself. if the vessel freezes to death, he’ll just resurrect it again after. there really isn’t all too much issue here. especially not if it means he gets to give this suffering youth an actual hug.

besides; he loves hugging. what a great experiment it is indeed to see if he’ll also love hugging when the other person is basically ice personified - if he understands the boy’s worries right, that is.

His eyes remain unfocused, staring blankly and burning imaginary holes into the window pane. “Maybe if someone had convinced my mom otherwise, she’d still be around,” he says without thinking. A lingering bitterness, sadness, and anger hidden in the simple sentence. As soon as it comes out and he realizes, he immediately regrets it. He knows it’s unfair to her, and knows that she always did her best for him. But today was one of those days where he couldn’t see past the grief and anger enough to be as forgiving as he usually was. His therapist said that the pain would go away in time, but Hotaru was still waiting.
