I just wanted to say how much I love your fic. I read along originally when you were first posting A Savage Inconvenience, and fell off when life stuff got in the way. I'm back in my Strain/Quinlan love kick and re-reading your story and Ah! I remembered how good it was, but I didn't Really Remember Just How Good It Was if you know what I mean. I literally am forcing myself away because all i want to do is sink into reading it and do nothing else. I have to set timers to actually get work and life stuff done, it's so addicting. The narrative and dialogue and characterization is so beautiful and flows so well. You are such an incredible writer and thank you for the gift of sharing it with all of us. Truly exceptional! <3

just rewatched the hunt for ziro ep of clone wars and it is SO much funnier with the context that quinlan and obi-wan have essentially known each other since middle school bc their dads were friends (the Jedi equivalent thereof, anyway). "he has yet to master the concept of knocking" probably comes from personal experience. it's amazing.

I'm watching The Strain for like the 45th time and I always forget just how much shit Quinlan talks. Like he rolls up to New York like hey your city sucks, you suck, and I hate you all. And that energy he brought day 1 never goes away he is just always ready to argue with literally everyone and I love that for him.
