Joshua Sumter and the Ironheart
My self-insert crossover parody retelling/reimagining of The Princess and the Frog (2009)
Short summary/premise: An autistic young man learns a lesson in love when a fateful kiss with a fairy sends him on a mystical yet familiar modern twist adventure, setting off a hilarious chain of events. It's like "The Princess and the Frog" meets "The Emperor's New Groove" with a hint of "Brother Bear." Synopsis: Think you know the story of Disney's The Princess and the Frog? Imagine a crossover parody retelling of the original 2009 animated hit where an autistic young boy, who once had it all and lived a single life, learns a lesson in love when he meets a fairy, and a fateful kiss sets off a hilarious chain of events that turns things upside down. Set in an alternate universe and its story based on 2009's The Princess and the Frog, young and autistic Joshua Sumter (Me) had everything he needed for living his best yet awesome single life. After all, romance would be the last thing on his mind as he makes his own moves, doing his own things, hanging out with friends, all that jazz. Things seem to be going well until Nadia Van Dyne (Wasp) comes to town, prompting Joshua's friend Lewis (Meet the Robinsons) to throw a huge, epic party for her. During the party, Joshua slipped away to be alone for a while…and this puts him into contact with Nadia Van Dyne and her friend, Riri Williams (Ironheart), who are in quite of a pickle. Nadia and Riri (with maidservant valet, Ms. Grunion (Mr. Peabody & Sherman), in tow) came to town in search of fun and adventure, but unfortunately, their arrival caught the attention of witty voodoo slick talker Frederique "Freddie" Facilier (Descendants: Wicked World). During the very day Nadia was to meet Lewis, Freddie Facilier put her scheme into action by luring the two girls and Ms. Grunion into her voodoo lair, where she turned Riri into a fairy and trapped her and Nadia in a jar while changing Ms. Grunion into the spitting image of Nadia. Then, she'll sit back and watch the chaos ensues…all part of a plan to take down Lewis's family and steal the family fortune. But there was a thing, or two Freddie did not anticipate -- Joshua being the wild card and a strange allegiance that'll undercut her plans when he meets Nadia and Riri. Soon, a fateful kiss with a fairy has change everything in Joshua's life, turning it into a familiar modern twist as his plans took a detour. Not only that, but Riri's and Nadia’s chance to get back home and outwit Freddie Facilier's plans of voodoo madness rest on his shoulders. Left with no choice and having a hard time cooperating, Joshua is convinced by Nadia to help them and bond with Riri, forcing them into an unlikely alliance. Now they must overcome their differences to deal with hair-raising dangers, crazy and wild comic predicaments, and even each other until they learn some valuable life lessons, including the meaning of trust and true love, as they embark on a groovy adventure to seek the magnificent Merlin (The Sword in the Stone) to undo the spell. While having difficulties and obstacles in their lives, they are being by joined by Kamala Khan, Doreen Green with Tippy Toe the Squirrel, Flik, and Jiminy Cricket…and an unlikely, budding romance was bloomed between Joshua and Riri along the way. But Freddie Facilier had plans of her own as she's in hot pursuit on their trail, bent on using Nadia's blood to further her purposes with the help of a few demonic beings in the form of an angry army of shadows and the epic powers that are beyond manipulation of both magic and mind. Ultimately, Joshua and Riri's love for each other made them realize that they must rely each other to get through the toughest of times…all part of growing up, putting things right, and learning the true meaning of their bond. CAST: Joshua Sumter (ME) as Tiana (Human/Frog)
Riri Williams/Ironheart (The Marvel Rising Universe) as Naveen
Iridessa (Disney Fairies) as Frog Naveen
Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel, Doreen Green/Squirrel Girl with Tippy Toe the Squirrel (The Marvel Rising Universe) as Louis

Mr. Peabody & Sherman (2014) dir. Rob Minkoff. 7.8/10
I would recommend this movie to my friends. I would rewatch this movie.
Lol at all these puns.
This is like Forrest Gump for kids. I can see why this was one of my favs in high school.
Where did Penny's character development even come from? Her dom energy is too much for me in the beginning. What a horrible bully. Grunion is a trash person.
Mr. Peabody wagging his tail is the cutest thing. What a great dad he is.

Similarities between Mr. Peabody (Mr. Peabody & Sherman) & Blitz
• Both are adoptive fathers
(Both children respectively don’t call their guardians “dad” except when in a dire situation)
Peabody = Sherman (human; 7 years olds)
Tumblr media
Blitz = Loona (Hellhound; 17 years old 2x02 “Seeing Stars” >>> 22 years old
Tumblr media
• Both 5ft tall
• Both comedic
• Both are OTT with parenting (🤣)
• Both argue with their children
Peabody = about Ms. Grunion taking Sherman away
Blitz = Loona being in her face every 5 minutes
• Both have a group of three (including their children)
Blitz = Moxxie, Millie (M&M) and Loona
- Maybe occasionally Stolas if things are looking a little bleak for I.M.P
Tumblr media
Peabody = Penny & Sherman
Differences:
• Blitz is course and foul-mouthed
- Is the “chilled” type of parent with adoptive daughter except when it comes to boys flirting with Loona and her being endanger
• Peabody is formal & polite
- Is Strict and not educational with Sherman
• Sherman is the only one who had called Mr. peabdoy “dad”
* Loona had almost called Blitz “dad” but had cut herself off — due to being self conscious about it — in “Spring Broken”

Part 686468413621, of me figuring out different characters voiced by the same damn actor. Alison Janney voices peach the starfish (which until just now I just understood... she's a she) from finding nemo and Gladys Sharp from Over the Hedge. Charlene Doofenshmirtz- the ex-wife of Dr. Doofenshmirtz. Mrs. Grunion from Mr. Peabody & Sherman. Charlotte Phelan from The Help. Ms. Perky from 10 Things I Hate About You. There's more work she's done but damn.

Your name is Jerann Melsay, preferred honorific Mr.. You use it/its pronouns, and your blood runs fuschia. Your sign is Pio, sign of the pathfinder, for better or for worse. you can't help but wonder what that means For reasons you cannot define, you feel something of an affinity to the idea of being a Page. You are 43 sweeps old, and you've an interest in paintball, and dabble in troll powerlifting- At least, when the mood allows. You were brought up by your annoying lusus, Grunion dad, and you hope you're never going to become like your ancestor, His Honorable Benevolence. You think you're going to run away, maybe hide as a violet. via roll-a-troll https://ift.tt/vDISEgf, do as you please

Official promo pictures and episode summaries for the first 5 episodes of Father Brown Series 8, airing on BBC in January 2020. Summaries under  the cut for length.
The Celestial Choir. (6 Jan 2020)
A mysterious saboteur tries to stop Kembleford from winning the Three Counties Choir competition.
Canon Fox (Roger May) is amazed when the Kembleford Choristers, led by Mrs McCarthy (Sorcha Cusack), make it through to the final of the Three Counties Choir Competition at Worcester Cathedral.
On the day of the final one of the Choristers falls ill, and a reluctant Lady Felicia (Nancy Carroll) agrees to step in so the team can participate. On the way to the cathedral, their omnibus suddenly breaks down and Bunty (Emer Kenny) reveals that the fuel line has been cut.
Suspicion immediately falls on rival choir the Hambleston Harmonisers, led by Lawrence Ashton (Hugh Sachs). The Choristers, also comprised of Sergeant Goodfellow (John Burton), Audrey Belchant (Daisy Maywood), Wesley Summerton (Ashley Campbell), and Nicholas and Barbara Curtley (Joseph Prowen and Sarah Ingram), must race against time to get to Worcester before they are disqualified, all while Father Brown (Mark Williams) works to discover who is out to get them.
The Queen Bee (7 Jan 2020) Father Brown investigates the mysterious death of a beekeeper.
After a freak accident, eccentric beekeeper Beattie May decides that her adoptive son Shambu must be properly provided for, in case anything unexpected should happen to her. Beattie invites her solicitor Ronnie Grunion (Nigel Planer) to make an addition to her will, consisting of a puzzle that will lead Shambu to a valuable jewel.
However, before Ronnie can amend the will, Beattie is found murdered in her bed. Later, at the reading of her will, with Father Brown, Mrs McCarthy (Sorcha Cusack), Bunty and former neighbours Miss Slither and her niece Hannah (Grace Molony) all in attendance, Shambu is arrested for Beattie’s murder by Inspector Mallory (Jack Deam).
Father Brown must work to discover whether Shambu really is guilty of his mother’s murder, or whether someone else is responsible.
The Scales Of Justice (8 Jan 2020)
Father Brown must race to save Bunty from the hangman’s noose when she is tried for murder. Things look bad for Bunty when she is charged with the murder of Teddy Neville-Crowley (Ziggy Heath) following an altercation at a Great Gatsby-themed party on his estate.
Mrs McCarthy is dumbfounded, but when Father Brown (Mark Williams) goes about trying to establish the facts he is met with resistance from Inspector Mallory (Jack Deam).
Father Brown questions the other attendees at the party, including Teddy’s brother Max (Rob Callender), and Max’s wife Margot (Alice Bailey Johnson), but draws a blank. When the case goes to trial, Bunty’s fate lies in the hands of her defence barrister Bertie Quinton (Robert Portal) - but following a poor performance from Bertie, it looks like the jury and Judge Pickering (Julian Forsyth) may send Bunty to the gallows.
Can Father Brown find the evidence to prove Bunty’s innocence before it’s too late?
The Wisdom Of The Fool (9 Jan 2020)
Murder is no laughing matter when Father Brown visits a jesters’ convention. When a convention of jesters, including Sir Toby and Edith Dobson (Neil Pearson and Emily Joyce), son Fred (Alexander Morris) and Doodle (Natey Jones), arrive in Kembleford to entertain the crowds, the merriment is brought to a halt when Dr Belmont (Annabel Cleare) collapses and dies in front of a crowd of shocked spectators. Father Brown (Mark Williams) suspects foul play and begins to investigate the circumstances of her death, along with Bunty (Emer Kenny). Meanwhile another jester, Mr Feste (Paul Copley), has taken a shine to Mrs McCarthy (Sorcha Cusack) but is stopped in his tracks when confronted by Father Brown and Bunty. He admits to killing Dr Belmont and begs Father Brown to let him confess his sins.
However, he is murdered in the confessional before he can. Did Mr Feste act alone when he killed Dr Bemont, and who in turn killed him? Father Brown must find out.
The Folly Of Jephthah (10 Jan 2020)
Flambeau seeks Father Brown’s help to get rid of an unwanted rival. After a mysterious thief keeps stealing valuable treasures from under his nose, Hercule Flambeau (John Light) visits Kembleford to see if Father Brown (Mark Williams) can help him to eliminate the competition. Flambeau reveals that his new rival is in fact his estranged daughter Marianne Delacroix (Gina Bramhill). Seeing the opportunity to save a soul, Father Brown (Mark Williams) agrees to help Flambeau find her. The two set a trap at Gloucester Museum, but Marianne later surprises them by turning up at the presbytery. Marianne proposes her and her father compete to determine who is the better thief, with the loser handing over all their stolen goods and giving up their life of crime.
The two agree, and the contest is on. Can Father Brown help to convince either of these master criminals to keep their word and turn their back on crime for good?
