Healing isn’t linear 🏹 & Life is nvr perfect 💝 . . . but in each moment there is an opportunity for both. Not in the way society tells us it must be but in the way we can show up for ourselves; taking deep big belly breaths & reminding ourselves that we are perfect, always as is in any given moment ✨ Everything lined up in this way for us to be who we are rn 🪷 April was #SexualAssaultAwareness & #ChildAbusePrevention month & I wanted to address how this is more common than we as society like to admit. I’m not here to place blame or to make anyone uncomfortable but this is a real life issue that is prevalent in most of our lives in one way or another ❤️‍🩹 From child molestation, to rape, to unwanted advances, & the list can go on but we are familiar with it. I myself was abused as a very young girl for several years & I truly didn’t realize until my 30s that I’ve nvr actually dealt with it. I finally told someone at 12 when I had a mental brkdown, & then again at 16 when a lot was changing in my life, did therapy, even family therapy & I thought hey that’s it, it’s done. I’m okay. But am I? Was I? No I wasn’t bc there was a plethora of feelings deep within that even I wasn’t aware of at first. It took me until now to finally face that; to know that it was an experience that happened to me 💔 Sexual assault is nothing to be ashamed of , nothing to feel guilty over. It was something that was experienced. We didn’t ask for this , or do anything to warrant it. It’s what happened & it is our responsibility to ourselves to heal from it 💞 Whatever that means to you I truly hope you find it 💕 & it can be very different from one to the next. I personally saw an energy healer who took me on a journey within to face it & to feel free from it. I forgive my abuser, & all that were involved around those years. Heres a #Quickie before I go into My First Orientation,

i`m doing very well , I haven't been feeling very hopeless or as suicidal as I have been lately .

I got a realistic job walk-through at AutoZone today in less than an hour , I'm actually sitting in the parking lot right now .

For the most part , I believe I'm doing okay . I feel like I'm a bother having to tag along with the other girls since I don't know where the meetings are yet or how the schedules run just yet 😒 but I'll eventually get there and I'll figure it out.
