I use the good ol' HB pencil mixed in with a bit of these brushes I downloaded forever ago to make the lines thicker, I mostly use colored pencil, and the copic marker brush a lot if u need to know which brushes exactly

These are concept sketches for the other OC in this story. He doesn't have a name, but wears a sack around his head and has a wheelchair that turns into a mech

Very baba yaga LMFAO but I was thinking more spider. Like the mech would look like a large spider and it uses the two legs form only when getting places that are inaccessible

Highly emotional and tense scenes! These are the kinds of scenes that get the blood pumping as well as the emotions and the pictures that play out in your mind going!

And the best parts of about these sorts of scenes is that they can portray any sort of moment within the story, ranging from any emotion that comes from it and it's just muaa! *chef kiss*

Emotions have always been something very important for me to portray when it comes to art, so the same also applies in writing as well! I want whoever is reading what I write to feel what the character(s) are feeling, to know what they are going through and be in that moment with them; to see and be them or just as if they were the opposite side of which they are confessing or speaking to. Even just through description of motion and actions, one can get so much out of it and I just LOVE doing these sorts of scenes!

Oh boy, to write for one genre is such a tough pick because I enjoy such a variety of genres to write for, it always depends on the mood I am in. The same goes for RPs as well. It's always dependent on the mood, haha!

But if I had to pick just one, I would think I'd lean mostly towards a sort of fantasy/epic of sorts! There is always so much to do in such a realm that you can literally start from scratch and build up on it from there and keep doing so the more you write and make your own rules as you go! And as you also write, you find that you grow and find new things to add or fix along the way!

While they often say fantasy knows no bounds and that anything goes and others will argue that it has to follow certain formulas, I personally think that a good balance between the two and what drives both passion and what lies in one's creativity can make for any sort of epic in such a genre! :D

Happy endings are very rare for many of my characters if I am going to be honest, haha! :'D

But as rare as they are, the very few who do manage to gain the achievement of happiest ending, its well worth it in the end I say!

And to that, I bestow the honor of that title to both Nochtli and Hayuya in a tie! Plus, I keep to my own current original concepts and stories because to comb through all my fandom stuff will take forever x'D

Both of their stories are set within a similar universe but in different places, but the two of them, as different as their paths take them, put them through some very tough times; one probably a bit more than the other I will admit. But when these characters reach the ends of their stories, all those hardships and challenges they face, that ending feels just as good and satisfying to take in when they have it!

And in the end, it makes that achievement all the more impactful in the long run for both reader and character alike <3

Lexember 2022: Sagaian

Instead of my Cretaceous languages, I've been working on Sagaian this year. Sagaia is the primary country in my Narnia-inspired fantasy; it is a country of talking animals, centaurs, satyrs, fauns, river-dwelling naiads, and dryad-filled forests. The story itself is a feminist exploration of the explicit and implicit themes in Narnia: spirituality, nature, gender, social inequality, and how to build a just, diverse community.

Sagaian is a mix of Irish and Latin. The first settlers were humans from early 20th-century Ireland, but it was later conquered by a witch who spoke a variety of Latin, and imposed her language on the country. (The name "Sagaia" is "Land of the Witch" in Latin.) One of its most distinctive features is a sapient / non-sapient distinction in the grammar: all nouns may be marked for sapience with definite determiners "an/na" (for sing. / pl.) or post nominal modifier "fár" (for indefinites).
