Do you have that one thing that fills your teapot? That thing that even if you had broken your toe and struggled to walk you would clamber up the rocks and suffer the pain for? Because you know that thing will heal more than how that pain feels. Mine is undoubtedly being in, on, around the water. 💦I love the coolness of the water on my skin, 💦I love the smell of rain, the seaside, the river. 💦I love the sound or rain on a caravan roof, seagulls shouting, river flowing. 💦I love the calmness and alternative perspective of the world being on a boat brings. 💦I love that rush you feel when you’ve dipped your shoulders in the sea or river and the euphoria/delirium afterwards. 💦I love sitting in the hot tub/ bath taking in the world contemplating life. I’ve been so quiet on here this week. ⁣ Usually when that happens it because I’m feeling anxious and although I want to share I can’t. It’s like I get frozen. ⁣ However this past week its because I’ve been so busy and I’ve felt content just staying quiet. ⁣ Not bothered about getting on top of the algorithm. But just getting back to posting what I want when I want! ⁣ ⁣ I have to say I’m a month into this being 40 malarkey and so far it’s like a switch has been flicked. ⁣ I feel much more content with the life I’m building for me and my family. ⁣ As I said before there are lots of things to work on still things that frustrate me but I’m confident in my ability to turn them around when the time is right. ⁣ ⁣ Have a great weekend everyone. 𝘈𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘸𝘪𝘮. ⁣⁣ I’m not going to lie when it started raining yesterday afternoon I was a little bit gutted thinking the swim we had arranged for last night would be cancelled. ⁣⁣ Luckily the rain eased and it got quite sunny and warm. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ And we swam further than ever before in our little swim spot. Yey. It’s bingo time. You can call me an old lady if you wish. But I’ve been playing bingo since I was probably about 6 years old. ⁣ Infact I remember getting a bingo game one Christmas. ⁣ I used to head out after school to the “old people’s club” to meet my nan and auntie after school when I was younger. Evening, to go with my new morning routine (see previous post) I’ve also been trying to change my evening routine a little. I have in the past gone to bed with the kids. And sat in bed watching tv. Instead I’m trying to have a quick tidy up and then sit in our living room to watch a bit of tv with a cuppa. Or head for a bath with a cuppa and a book or my iPad I know. It’s very Boring but it helps me chill out a bit more before bed. What do you do to chill out before bed? If it’s watching an hour or two of tv what are you watching? I’m not sure who was the most excited about moving to the new premises today. We all wandered around just looking at the new creative inspiring space. Joy and Roz and the team have created a little bit of heaven here. (The Prosecco went down well too.)
