It was all a dream...

Spirit Lake at @hulaweenfl was by far one of the most incredible experiences of my career, if not the best... for now. :)

The team was unlike any other I've ever worked with. The balance of heart, spirit, and technical BADASSERY was astounding. No amount of thanks is enough, but I'll continue to try. Extra special thanks to @iamvanghost, @stephblatt, and @sairaanderson for giving me the deep trust to pull this off. It was never taken lightly.

The Moon has always played a large role in my creation process, and also in the process I’m developing together with @jackhenryart and @dillon_endico in our @medicineheartmurals paintings. Our piece in The Maze at @hulaweenfl ... Friday morning before the gates open in Spirit Lake is a truly magical and otherworldly place. Many of the installation artists were quietly re-tuning their pieces after Thursday night’s maiden voyage in #spiritlake. As I pass the glowing mosaic octopus, giant pallet trolls and spiders, painted pyramids, all sorts of geometric entanglements and fire-breathing sculptures, a 25’ flower whose leaves you can climb... There is such a peace over the place; serene, proud, joyful saws and welders buzzing, focused artists in a Golden morning light. I’m nearly floating by the time I reach our Mural Maze: 6 years and over 6,000 square feet of art walls you can get lost in, curated by Ania Amador. It was slightly overcast, and misty around the shore: perfect for taking these photos. It started raining before I was able to capture the whole maze.. but I got what I could-I’ll post more on Facebook since this post is limited to ten.. (the Maze requires many more than ten.) It was a great pleasure to make art with these amazing painters.
