People act like shipping Alastor with anyone is a crime when like. There are literally aroace people who date/have relationships/have sex/etc. It may not be the majority, but there's nothing wrong with it. So like, people can ship what they want, just chill lmfao

gay and lesbian people don’t talk enough about how we put up with more from people than straights do because we feel constantly in debt to them for accepting our homosexuality. like someone could do a horrible thing to us and deserve to be cut out of our lives but we’ll think back to when they didn’t cut us off for being homosexual and put up with more from them. as if homosexuality can be compared to a horrible action. as if homosexuality is harmful and disrespectful.

I can't get over every little thing spencer reid does. like his little mannerisms are EVERYTHING TO ME. The way he talks with his hands, how he presses his middle finger to his thumb and rubs them together sometimes or moves it as if he's writing when talking, the way he scrunches his face up sometimes, the way he wrings his hands at all really like just playing with the fingers of his other hand or sometimes I've seen him just press his knuckles together and rub them together, the thin lipped pressed together smile he does as he awkwardly waves to new people he's being introduced to, when his hair is a long enough length and he tucks it behind his ears all the time. I think he does both sides sometimes and and and UGHHHHH I LOVE HIM

I know some people are scared of large knives and cleavers. But in the same vein as why a sharp knife is safer than a dull one, if you've got enough size and weight to make a clean cut through bone or a hard squash, that's significantly safer than hacking away at it multiple times with a smaller knife. There's no need to have a large array of huge knives, but if you often break down large birds, other meat with bones in it, or hard squashes, a large chef's knife with some heft to it or a cleaver can be a sensible investment. The ideal for a knife or cleaver that you use for this purpose is that it cuts through the object to the board in one clean, firm movement.
Do NOT get a large knife or cleaver with one of those paper thin blades unless you are getting it from a brand or a smith that specializes in them. A thin bladed large knife or cleaver has the specific danger of that when you are removing the blade from what you cut, if it did not make a clean cut through the object, then when you are pulling it out you are going to be fighting a lot of surface tension. You do not want to be yanking hard on a sharp object.
What you should look for is a subtle wedge shape to it, so that it forces the two sections you are cutting apart, enough heft that you can make a clean cut through a hard object, and for it to be well balanced so that you don't feel like it's going to tilt forward out of your hand. Full tang is more important for this kind of knife and for cleavers, since you'll be using them with significant force. As with all cutting implements, make sure to keep them in good condition.

ok i do need to ask, do we like KNOW know that some egg admins have been playing as other silly npcs during this downtime or are we speculating. like i've seen people identifying admins with varying strength of basis since the eggs first existed but like. for a while there anytime an npc spoke portuguese everyone thought it was richas and then occasionally it would be agent 18 lmao so. . . are we doing that now or do we like Know lmfao
oh and to be clear i do mean varying strength; people were apparently spotting a leo admin's speech patterns earlier and since leo has such a distinct pattern (tho i'm not fluent in spanish LMAO) i'm inclined to believe that. but yea for a while people seemed to think portuguese=richas and to be fair there weren't many non-english npcs for a WHILE and really no portuguese besides richas (that we knew of) but it does mean i'm a bit more skeptical now when the audience starts trying to clock npc admins lmfao

New places new customs new fashions~
Featuring Ramiel, wearing a flower-embroidered tunic and cord belt, something more appropriate for the kingdom of Ayelbirn. I didn’t bother drawing gloves, but lore-wise it would be rude of him to forego them!
I little extra campaign notes/lore below the cut :)
A basic map of The Kingdoms my friend @/kingstooth made :)
We recently left Halshevar, and are nearly reaching Queenstone, the capital of Ayelbirn. Our party is Attempting to make it to Ilor- but it sounds like there’s a non-zero chance we’ll be detoured towards Vethnoac, the dragon kingdom.
(Our party guide, a young diplomat- Corvus, is wanted in Vethnoac for crimes of theft, deception, and murder 😬. Excited to see how we get him out of this mess, because at the moment there is Not a lot of leverage to work with.)
