waow 2024 is almost dead!!! gone too soon. feels like it’s been a big year for me art-wise for many reasons, BUT. i’m making 2025 bigger.... hopefully....i’ve made some art goals for next year which i won’t explain in detail but they boil down to 1) do more studies 2) tackle my weaknesses (backgrounds, dynamic poses/angles, uhhh lots of stuff i am a one trick pony right now) 3) get into drawing comics, all of which are in preparation for 4) take my story ideas more seriously and get started on one of the many graphic novels living in my head. i have one in mind i HAVE to complete in my lifetime or i will die, but firstly i’m gonna mess around with some little standalone svanhildr comics perhaps. goat fans rejoice. 

anyway i wasn’t meant to ramble so i’ll just say THANK YOU for the support as always!!! i’m very flattered all of these have more than 1000 notes.....crazy. thank you. muah

so scout, being a norwegian forest cat and therefore about 80% fluff, needs constant brushies for how much she sheds. but now whenever im brushing her i keep having the girlwiththedogs voice just run in my head like.

"today we're grooming scout the norwegian forest cat, but more importantly, she's a fussy little princess."

also, on the topic of teleporting from room to room — she has three ways of doing so.

creation of door to step through for long distances. easiest method, but it does require genki to dissemble it afterwards. otherwise, anyone can access it so it’s usually not done during combat.

walking through walls. not necessary her fazing through a solid structure, but more so moving the material around her shape in real time. can only be done when a room is linked within the same building — so no long distance travel.

manipulation of flooring / walls / foundation. genki pulls slabs up to cocoon herself + marked company ( the marking is used as a way to automatically honing onto targets ). once encased, they're pushed through the flooring and appear at the destination in the same manner. yes, this is terrifying and space is not abundant. can be used to cross short or long distances.

# 3 made me wonder how she learned that technique, and the answer is.. sad. genki was in her late teens ( post hand trauma ) and a target was clearly too powerful for her to take on. so as a way of defense, she cocooned herself in concrete and kept wishing, pleading, to be somewhere else — anywhere else — while the target kept hammering the sides. and then it happened. she was transported far, far away and was left so incredibly confused and shaken.

* being transported long distances does subject others to severe nausea due to the shift in pressure. being marked by genki helps negates that completely ♡

saw someone make their pet as a human sim and i dropped everything to make my housemate('s cat). her name is bonnie and the animal shelter said that she was vicious and unsocialized. her fav things are butter, bread, and sniffing shoes. more pics of her under the cut bc im love her

some more bonnie fun facts: she's possessed by a demon, she demands to headbutt me before i can take my night meds, she hates the wind but forgets that fact and she'll beg and beg for us to take her to the backyard just for her to stand there looking very miffed, she would rather explode and scream and cry than sit anywhere on a person (unless you're her owner's literal ass, in which case she'll love to sit there), she loves to watch people draw, and she has a crush on tos spock and will audibly huff and leave the room if she sees tas or snw spock. she's a beast and i'm not sure she's a cat but she's perfect and i love her so much. this was an excuse to hype up the cat that i live with
