I tried to write something to sum up my thoughts on this, but then it got longer and longer and tbh I'm itching to write a fic set in this AU djjdkf I think I could develop on their inner feelings more than in the comic form

Before posting the first part I didn't realize people had such strong opinions on how this would play out lmaooo

imo, of course Zoro wants to fight Sanji, not with actual intent to harm (they threaten each other on the daily, come on), but because that's how they are together, how they communicate. He respects Luffy's decisions and their goal here, which is to learn what's really going on with Sanji, but he's gonna be pissy about it all he wants. They both have so many intense and conflicted feelings about this and neither has any idea how to resolve them. So they fight.

gale's reaction to the protag offering to sacrifice themselves by becoming a mindflayer

i wanted to share this scene because it's something that not everyone may have seen and because it's a truly wonderfully acted, animated and written scene, showing gale's empathy and selflessness. despite being scared, despite wanting to live, he makes the offer to reconsider using the orb so the protag needn't sacrifice their own life and soul.

you can get the scene by having the protag ask the emperor if by becoming an illithid, they would be able to control the netherstones and absorb orpheus's power.

gale will interrupt the conversation with:

Gale: This is not the kind of decision to make based solely on your own wisdom. We must discuss it - privately.

he will then have an exclamation mark over his head to initiate the full conversation.

Rex Lapis and his adepti have been together for thousands of years but it’s endearing how much they cherish him. Cloud Retainer was arguing with the seller but the moment he questioned Zhongli's integrity she was ready to storm off, or the fact when she found out he "died" her first desire was to drown the entire harbor.

In Xiao's voicelines he says he wont tolerate anyone disrespecting Morax even the beloved traveler or how in last lantern rite, traveler asks him who made the dinner awkward and if you pick Zhongli he'll instantly rushes to defend him.

Or the fact Ganyu hated Keqing for years cause she was so disrespectful to Rex Lapis and Zhongli had to tell her to try and get along. Plus Ganyu has soo many voicelines about rex lapis and she even tries to replicate some of zhongli's.

Its kind of interesting because to some extent they seem really flustered in his presence but truly adore him.

Juana's favourite memory.

a little story/headcanons up ahead, and the sketch for this piece, tehee ;p

she always liked making flower crowns with her parents, especially when inevitably there were leftover flowers that they could throw unto the air to make it seem like it was raining flowers. her dad was always better at making the crowns, but her mama always found the best flowers to use and which went together well. and she always found the best picnic spots.

her dad made sure there were no bees around and that she always had an epipen with a spare and a spare for the spare. her mana made sure none of the food with them had animal products or nuts, and made sure she had her safe foods.

and our little Juanita made sure her family stuck together. sure her parents bickered, but she always had to faux-gag after they kissed and made up. she got to sit and lean on her mama's chest, curled up in his embrace while the sun warmed her scaly skin, listening to the humming of her dad while he carefully made her the most beautiful flower crown befitting a princess. she got to laugh and giggle while her dad gave her the extra flowers to throw into the air and her mama gave a weather report of incoming "flower rain".

her dad still checks for bees and makes sure he has an epipen and makes flowercrowns, but he no longer has anyone to do it for.

her mama still makes sure there's no nuts or meat in the food he brings with him, but he realises as soon as the rain falls that there's no reason to do it anymore.

and our little huevo isn't there to bring them together.

the "egg war" left me with a big emotional damage and i have a lot to talk about but there is one specific thing that i haven't seen people talking about it enough and it's hurting me still. q!Roier and q!Jaiden. AAAAARRGSGHAS- sorry i had to scream. like what do you mean when qroier saw qjaiden he said "oh no it's jaiden, i can't kill jaiden i can't kill jaiden..." and then later on qjaiden saw qroier and said "oh it's roier- no! don't do it! he- he is hitting me!!" her voice was shaking she was in despair i can't i justAHAHSJSHSKSJDJ i'm not mentally sane for this. qjaiden jumping with a chainsaw towards qroier as she apologizes but he can't hear what she's saying so he starts hitting her with his sword Bobby's Soul, the same sword he showed her the day before and she said "do it for us". and it hurts. she screams "IT HURTS!!" not only because she is literally dying but because he is the one killing her. it's qroier killing qjaiden with a sword that's named after their son who passed away. and my brain made the biggest mistake by making me think about what if bobby's soul really is what makes the sword stronger then that means bobby had to see his father hurting his mother using his soul's power what if bobby felt the pain qjaiden felt when qroier killed her. qjaiden and qroier are family. but now they're both trying to kill each other.... it hurts.
