big fail year for art if im gonna be completely honest but im trying not to let it get to me because these past 2 years have been a fucking nightmare so it's only reasonable I don't do as well. plus i've been learning a completely different medium which is creatively exhausting

#m.txt #like i started the year pretty unwell physically due to a number of reasons #immediately agreed to do way too many things at once foolishly thinking it'd be ok since they all had different deadlines #then magically all the deadlines fucking lined up perfectly #it was the ultimate burnout storm. caused by mine own hubris #the thing i was most excited for failed horribly. im still stuck working on something i was paid for in june #my most reliable work has been wildly unfulfilling artistically and draining mentally bc im working herder to communicate than just to draw #i injured my arm due to the repetitive stress of work and may just have permanent nerve damage now :shrug:#after all that i could beat myself up over it but really whats the point. theres no benefit to gain from that #i simply will just continue to do my best #maybe one day ill become a blog people follow for art again #bc after i rbed that meme i lost 2 followers which makes me think new people following me dont even realize i draw #which is fine i dont mind it but like damn. what a concept #anyways i just wanna be in a place where my original stuff feels developed enough that im comfortable posting it #and for that to happen i need to actually have time to work on it at all #so i need to not be so burnt out from work that im not being paid enough to do in the first place #which feels more doable now that im able to function just a little better #so all that left is for me... to do what i can
