i ask this as the second biggest taylor fan, since you're the first; what do you think is happening to him? i know he's pretty self critical and not that confident sometimes, but now it seems to go to extreme points, that affect his performance. he doesn't seem to find himself so every lose weighs and he can't rise. is it the ranking? :( i want my servebot with the forehand down the line back :((

I think, at least at the beginning of this year, the ranking got in his head a bit. the end of last year was such a whirlwind with him defying expectations and going further than anyone thought he could, but the aftermath of that came with so much pressure to content with jannik and carlos and win big titles. and it makes me think of uso22, where everyone was saying that taylor could win it and literally telling him that he had a chance to win it and he internalized the pressure and lost in the first round. he just plays worse when that’s on him, and at the start of the season it was

and then, he’s been injured and he’s been outplayed. and realistically he should probably be taking a longer break to properly recover but it’s taylor and he’ll play through anything until he physically can’t. but yes, I agree that there’s just been something off about his game lately, and it makes me sad because I too miss the servebot with the killer forehand, but I think he will get that confidence back. there have been so many times in the past few years when he goes on streaks of bad form like this and he always bounces back. so maybe I’m too optimistic but I have faith in him

taylor just had like three break point opportunities but did he convert that shit absolutely not because why would you do that when you could go to a tiebreak. again. he has played five sets in this tournament and four of them have been tiebreak. he’s currently in his sixth set of the week and it is likely headed to a tiebreak. phenomenal

Her personality doesn’t change that much but in this au her and her bros do start forming a weird friendship with the Caskett/Light family. Since they are the first outside of a small circle to know the truth about x and the guardians origins (It was completely by accident-)

Still having a huge crush on Vol, even she acts that he has an enemy she really likes him, her and Roll are rivals (NOT Romantic, a petty rivalry with a dash of respect) but weirdly enough is friends with Leviathan (She helps set lil dates between her and Volnutt in Levi’s eyes they’re cute and X agrees-). Has Respect towards Aero but doesn’t get along with Barrett (He kicked her servebots like soccer balls)

At somepoint She becomes a major player in the Au ;3

movement: carlos - also kinda self-explanatory he's just so good he gets to balls no one else would! also considered putting jannik here but although he's so good too i think carlos moves prettier

mentality: learner - maybe a wild pick but i love how chill and unflappable he usually is on court and especially at his age too! he plays so calm and unbothered and is sososo good at coming back from a rough game and i really admire that :)
