My Tamagotchi Forever Prepared Bandai Namco Mobile for Tamagotchi Adventure Kingdom Development

Bandai Namco recently posted an article on the Bandai Namco Mobile website that really helps the community understand how the My Tamagotchi Forever application really helped Bandai Namco Mobile develop the new Tamagotchi Adventure Kingdom application.

The article takes a look back and how Bandai Namco Mobile got started with mobile applications of the caliper with the My Tamagotchi Forever application released back in 2018 for the 21st anniversary of Tamagotchi, and this marked a significant milestone.

The release of the My Tamagotchi Forever application represented a shift in focus, considering the Western markets preference and gaming habits. It delved into Tamagotchi’s rich history and fanbase, particularly with the newest character, Neliatchi, who became a character from a contest that would first make her appearance on the application.

The game offered a fresh, interactive experience that both new and old fans could appreciate, while also preserving the DNA and core play pattern of Tamagotchi, nurturing. My Tamagotchi Forever served as a vital learning experience for Bandai Namco Mobile where the team gained invaluable insights into intellectual property, community engagement, market trends, and game mechanics. Recently found myself a Tamagotchi and although I admit these felt so much more fun to play with as a kid, nowadays it's kind of boring but still a really awesome find. I think it's cool they've brought these back in 2023.

Anyway, thanks to getting one of these again, it brought back my interest in Tamagotchi in general (I still have my Tamagotchi Corner Shop DS game and I remember really loving to watch Let's Go! Tamagotchi) and discovered there is a free game app (with ads) called My Tamagotchi Forever and I recently downloaded it and am really enjoying it. It's pretty cute and I like it a lot.

Mametchi is so adorable in this game too. :3

It also incorporates AR where you can take photos and add in Tamagotchi characters. Definitely think this is a pretty swell game as a modern take on the classic games.

am 10 hours into Cult of the Lamb and I've only cleared the first stage bc the little fuckers back at Camp Cozytimes need me to feed them and tuck them in and hold their hands while they shit and constantly pump propaganda (bad?) into their little pea brains so they don't try to leave for the Woods Full Of Cannibal Cults (worse ??), and if anything bad happens to ANY of them while I'm off adventuring I WILL cry and yes I know all their names, their species, their allergies, their zodiacs, their social security numbers-

anyway very excited to play the second stage someday. that scary guy in chains in limbo or whatever must have fully passed away by now

My Tamagotchi Forever App Introduces Tama Collection

Tama Collection is a new feature that allows you to know exactly where you stand in progress Characters, Outfits, Careers, Friendship Levels, Tama Academy Decorations, House Decoration and Town Items: you will need to collect them all to reach 100%.

It's that time again. The time of year where I go absolutely feral for tamagotchi content and just barely hold off from buying like fifty of the fuckers.

The thing that stops me in the end is always the same: that there are (as far as I can see) no tamagochi/vPets of that style that easily let you program them. Imagine a Tamagotchi P's, but with a piercing that lets you load your own design and animations of tamagotchi. Better yet, make it a usb c connector (or mini USB like the smart if you want to make it bad).

I've tried the Digimon Vital bracelet but I've got complicated feeling about it. Especially it's Dim Card system, which is clunky and you need to pay for specific digimon. That it isn't really waterproof enough to comfortably wear it in rain doesn't help either. Though I did shell out fr the Wizardmon one because that was made specifically for me

Kinda wish that the sanrio content was built onto the sanrio smart, i feel like its a little silly they put it on a sma card, bc they can only b used 3 times. Idk im not really complaining as much as im a little confused? With the other sanrio tamas the sanrio was built in. Idk im kinda glad ig bc then that means that, while my tama is cute and sanrio themed, it still functions the exact same as a regular smart owo
