How Haddock sees Elodie

Even though Elodie is a young woman, all Haddock sees is his little girl 🥺

I've had this idea that when Haddock finally mends his relationship with his daughter Elodie (with a bit of help from Tintin), he still gets a bit protective when Elodie tries to do something on her own.

He's had to learn how to be a parent again after being held prisoner in his own ship, as well as curbing his drinking habit.

I also managed to get in another timeline age-up done. And it only seemed fair that I post it as well.

This time, we have a timeline for my OC Elodie Haddock, Captain Haddock’s daughter.

I took a little while with her timeline since I was brainstorming some headcanons about her personality and what makes her a member of the Haddock family, as well as one of Tintin’s closest friends.

More info on Elodie:

Kid: In coming up with Elodie’s character, I headcanoned that Haddock once had a lover for some time until they fell out of love with each other. Elodie’s parents met during a sailor’s party in Scotland. They had a fairly good relationship, and had Elodie as their first child.

As a kid, Elodie was a rambunctious little girl who loved playing rough. While Haddock encouraged her playful nature, her mother was a little overprotective in trying to keep Elodie from getting hurt. Elodie was also entertained by Haddock’s bedtime stories of pirates, as well as her ancestor Sir Francis Haddock and the Unicorn.

Preteen: Around this age, Elodie began to notice that her parents were beginning to grow distant from each other. Her mother was slowly growing less attached to Haddock, feeling like Elodie deserved a better life with Haddock. This news did hurt Haddock a little, but he assured that he would raise Elodie the best he could.

At the time, Elodie didn’t understand what it meant when Haddock said he and her mother would be going their separate ways. But she never read too much into it, at least up until her teen years. Which is when things began to change, for better or for worse.

Teen: Set a little some time during the comics’ canon. Haddock was commanding the Karaboudjan, and he promised Elodie that he would write to her every day and even send her packages. However, Elodie was unaware that Haddock’s ship would be taken over by Allan, along with his crew turning against him.

This caused Elodie to go into a period of depression, as well as a mood change which was also attributed to Haddock’s drinking problem. Even Haddock wondered why Elodie was all of a sudden acting out of sorts. At one point, Elodie and Haddock have an intense argument about this, which escalated to them being estranged from each other for some time.

Current: During the comics’ post-canon. Elodie and Haddock have taken the time to understand each other, gradually mending their relationship. While Haddock was trying to understand his daughter’s feelings, it took Elodie an explanation from Tintin to finally understand why Haddock never kept in touch.

Additionally, Elodie has also been dreaming of becoming a sea captain herself. Though Haddock and Tintin think it might be impossible for her dream to be fulfilled, they never discouraged her. But sometimes Tintin finds it a little overwhelming when Elodie soon begins to pick up her father’s personality…and colorful vocabulary.

There will be more timeline age-ups of my OCs to come, so stay tuned!

i tried making Tintin from the 2011 film in my Sims 4 and failed miserably

but hey. at least he looks cute tho!

Another day, another attempt at sketching gone wrong. But there's improvement so I'll cherish it lol. Plus, its the first time I've drawn my sailor ocs with their original templates! Thatcher Morgan has his roots in Allan, while Tucker "Skipper" Anderson has his roots in Tom. Grouchy DadTM and Himbo. Skipper most certainly ain't captain, it's just a nickname and thank goodness because Skippy i love you but you are NOT captain material. Thatcher on the other hand is first mate and does eventually become captain. But he has a much more wholesome relationship with his captain, Finnick.

They're not complete copies, as they now have almost 10 years separating them. Thatcher's not British, but Aussie and so is Skipper. Well, Aussie coded. They're on another planet, my original planet Kelusia. But that's for another channel. Unless 👀

Maybe one day I'll publish my Dusk and Mariners series and y'all get meet the crew of the Caroline in full, but for now they shall remain simple guest stars in my sketches. If y'all like the Karaboudjan crew, you'll love the Caroline boys (and gals).

Meet Jenelle Cruise

Jenelle is a scam detective that uses her job to commit various thefts and robberies. She'll look around a home, see something shiny, and snatch it before she's caught and sell it overseas. She used to work for a price cartel and screwed them over, which caused her to go on the run for a while.

Jenelle eventually gets thrown in jail for one crime she actually didn't commit. In that same holding cell, she meets Tintin, who also gets accused. She helps him escape under the condition he clears her name to the public (She didn't tell him about her past crimes, and Tintin doesn't find out until AFTER he helps her). The two work together to get the case solved, but it goes off on a very rocky start with the two wanting to start off in 2 separate directions.

Jenelle and Tintin's relationship is built on mutual respect and tolerance for each other, but she thinks he's incredibly nosey, annoying, and expresses her dislike towards all reporters. She calls him "Tin can" to annoy him, and the two usually end up in loud arguments with one another. Her pride and envy is usually the source of her downfall.

Jenelle's other accessories that aren't in the drawing reference include:

Her coat, her sachel, where she usually keeps her items and the jewelry she steals, her golden bracelets.

For now, Jenelle lives in a small apartment flat with just her chihuahua, Dolly, and if Tin can needs an extra pair of hands to get a task done, she's ready to help..usually for a price.

Haddock had to show with acts his regret and he definitely regretted many things afterward.
