So I watched season 1 of My Adventures with Superman, loved it, drew this, and now I'm an emotional mess after the finale.

I think most just viewed it as Lewis Lane being from a gender flip universe, like Earth-11 from the comics. Superman is Superwoman, Wonder Woman is Warrior Man, etc. But i love your take of Lewis being a trans man.

I figured that some people might see it that way, but given that they used the same character model, just more flat chested, the intent seemed pretty clear to me.

Regarding episode MAWS 5

Clark looked at a woman whose first response to seeing Clark Kent after a morning of infinite bagel runs, was to hug him and say “I was so worried”.

Lois straight up stoped pretending she didn’t know he was Superman. 

And Clark looked her in the eye and tried to pass off an obvious battle wound as a shaving cut. Clark wasn’t wrong for trying to keep a secret identity, but that was just insulting. I would be pissed too.
