Ever since the beginning of the show Moritz keeps on disappointing him and breaking his trust, like when he stole his code for Mydrugs or when he lied to him and Dan about the Dutch, or just the fact that when Lenny found out about his mom wanting to replace him with another kid when he died he didn’t even feel like he could talk about it to Moritz, who’s supposed to be his best friend, because he didn’t feel comfortable with him anymore. And the parallel where they both want to text each other about serious issues but delete it and act like nothing’s wrong, it shows how they clearly don’t have the same priorities because Lenny has serious matters to discuss and Moritz just wanted to talk about Lisa, like always (props to Lenny for not expressing how pissed it made him sooner bc I would have punched him in the face a long time ago)

But that is only season one, and it’s not that bad, but look at season 2 & 3 where Moritz becomes a real asshole, or when Kira blows up on him because he mentioned her parents, like girl I get it you have trauma and it’s valid but he doesn’t know that, also the whole miscommunication between Lenny Moritz and Kira was just draining to watch (because I hate this trope)

And season 3??? He is convinced he’s gonna die??? I always see people talking about Dan making an OnlyFans to support Lenny but you’re not talking enough about how he is aware that if things don’t go well he has a month or two to live, and his girlfriend isn’t even here to support him, and he thinks she’s doing it on purpose

Honestly, except for Daniel, I don’t see a single character close to him that hasn’t hurt or disappointed him. Not to mention the fact that he also has trauma for thinking he’s going to die because of Buba then the Dutch, and saw Buba shooting himself with his gun, and Marelen get shot, and most definitely the body of Beeke

That guy is seriously under appreciated for real, and he is still thriving despite all the shit he’s been put through, like seriously that takes some serious mental strength to live all of this with seeing a therapist at any point

And I am not saying that Dan has not been going through it either but I feel like he’s talked about more because he is attractive as fuck

How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast) - A Netflix Series that's Addictive

I went into How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast) expecting something like the Euphoria series, but it turned out to be a much lighter series with great writing.

There is a lot of content connected to this series such as the real-life documentary of Maximillian Mundt on whom this is based and of course the "Buba" movie on Netflix. To ensure you enjoy the series, I recommend that you watch the series first and then watch the documentary named Shiny Flakes. (The documentary is grim, to say the least )

The Plot and Characters in How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast)

The story revolves around a duo of friends Leonard/Lenny and Moritz/Mo who inadvertently start a drug empire to help resolve a bind they're in. There's also Moritz's crush Lisa and his arch nemesis Dan and all their classmates.

The series has a redemptive feel as the core of the series has a very Revenge of the Nerds meets 21 kinda vibe. The lead has the look of an underdog that you would root for in a movie. The background score throughout the series is really good as well. I love the cameo of Jonathan Frakes in the series because its so random that its funny.

They don't focus as much on the effects the drugs have on a person, instead, they focus on the life of teenagers aspiring for the lives they want. Also, most of the main characters don't do drugs, including Lisa except for the one time at a house party.

The fact that the lead characters don't do any drugs themselves and the fact that they don't glorify the use of drugs is great. The jokes in the series are good and highly enjoyable with all the awkwardness from Moritz and Lenny.

Season 1

The most fun season of all three where Moritz and Lenny break out of their dork bubbles and into the cool clique. The feel of the first season is hopeful and youthfully optimistic without it being too over the top.

The dynamic between Lenny and Moritz is similar to that between Miles Teller and Jonah Hill in War Dogs. Except that Moritz who looks more like Miles Teller is the risk-taker and Lenny who is closer in appearance to Jonah Hill is the one who likes to play it safe.

Moritz Zimmerman reminds me of Better Call Saul if he didn't have to face the amount of danger that Jimmy McGill did. His appearance is a cross between Jesse Eisenberg and Miles Teller.

The journey of the drugs as they make their way through the logistics systems from the mailbox to the courier service and finally the end user is done well. The title theme is also very upbeat and the visuals of the dispersible tablet are really fun to watch.

When Buba's drugs don't sit well with the MyDrugs customers, they get deliveries from an anonymous commenter who has a unique way to drop off deliveries.

Season 2

Things get murkier and a bit darker in this season where Moritz makes friends with people from the underworld who have a soda factory as a front.

While the corporate office of the soda factory looks like an average workspace the lower levels of the building where Moritz is invited to work are used to manufacture drugs of every variety from Molly and Ecstasy.

While Moritz' Dutch drug suppliers look stunning and are calm and composed, they are stone-cold killers who rule their empire with an iron fist.

Season 3

Madness ensues as Moritz goes on a solo journey in the drug world, getting in way over his head. Lenny and Dan cut ties with Moritz, and you see how crazy Moritz can get with the help of some Molly-spiked shot given by one of his classmates.

I like the scenes where Moritz pistol whips someone unsuccessfully and another where Lenny pushes Dan's hands up when the trio are held at gunpoint.

The finale is interesting and doesn't disappoint like other series in non-English languages such as the Ragnarok Season 3.

Should you watch it? Yes!

This is a really fun series that I would recommend for folks above 25 years and no younger, due to the sensitive nature of content. Apart from the minimum age requirement, this is a great series with good writing and amazing visuals.

Netflix show called ‘how to sell drugs online (fast)’

It is based on a true story…. I wonder if like everything else also goes with the true story but I don’t think it does show yeah. I think only the main character is based on the guy in the true story.

either way, I just wanted to make some notes because why not? it’s a really good story and hella interesting!

this cuz it’s interesting to me. so this new show I’ve been watching, it’s called ‘how to sell drugs online (fast)’ but it’s actually like a real thing. in the show this 17 year old kid and best friend set up a whole Website to sell drugs, it was called mydrugs but in real life in the actual story that it’s based on the kid named the website Shiny Flakes in 2013. in the real story, max, he set it up all alone and had a very successful business, they said it was the biggest darknet related seizure ever! he was arrested for selling approx. 4.1 million euros worth of drugs from his childhood bedroom. that is 4.6 million US dollars.

How he was caught; he made a few in real life mistakes. He didn’t use the correct postage on one of his packages, so the package didn’t return to sender and just stayed at the mailing station ig until it was open and drugs were discovered. another mistake he made was using the same mailing stations. and it happened many times, so the police started analyzing data from several mailing centers and kept the stations under surveillance. until they soon figured out it was him. he was only 20 at the time but it was in Germany so he got charged as a minor and he got seven years. he heard there was a show with him and he just showed up to the production, he showed the crew somethings about what he did but they were all okay with him being there. 

There is actually his own documentary out of himself that I need to watch. I’m super interested on his story. Like why did he do this? How, and why did he start this? Want made you do what you did? was he just curious? Has he done any drugs? where did he get the drugs? And where did he has money go? because the police still haven’t found it.

He said he hasn’t done any of his own product, which is like the main role of being a drug dealer is what they say so yeah. but he has a mental condition which people believed to be autism so he has been taking pills for that for 10 years+. they say he isn’t really emotional developed in his court thing when giving him his years. he has said he’s very proud of his work and what he’s done, he doesn’t feel any remorse or guilt for selling drugs, for being a source of were people got addicted to his stuff, he said that they would just go and get it from a different place- so at least they were doing it from a safe place maybe?

now what happens in the show is that this couple were dating but the girl went to the US for a year, did some partying did some drugs came back and thought she wanted some other stuff and he wasn’t anything that she wanted. he noticed what she was doing meaning drugs and it seems like she was trying to get with the drug dealer in school and so he decided to get drugs for her. These were all meth kinda drugs so yeah which is the stuff that she was doing. He gives her a few but then she’s like this chemist and tested them with something which made them turned into a different color and turns out it had really bad reactions to taking it, so it was just bad. 

she tells him, he goes and gets more for her but she doesn’t want them so he makes the website and starts to sell them, and to also get money for her, and money in general i bet. He does this with his best friend and the best friend is like the techy so he makes the website and everything. but it just turns into a whole shit show between them and yeah. I’m not at the end yet but it just keeps going downhill.

in the show they make it seem like the actor that’s playing the guy is the real druglord guy. Like they have interviewing scenes where it seems like he’s talking about what happened which led me to think that they re-acted everything that happened but no.

Either way it’s still a good show and has great plot. I wonder where they got the whole show idea though because they made the documentary about max afterwards where the Director really put a lot of work into getting all the sides, the police, the lawyers, doctors, and then interviewed Max while also doing some re-acting scenes. That’s all from what I’ve been reading in interviews but yeah. I don’t know if the plot of the show is true but it’s such a good show! I wouldn’t say it’s like top 10 but out of the spontaneous random shows that I decide to watch it’s there in my top 20 lmao

Sicario: Day of the Soldado. Was nice to watch this again. This isn't meant to be a popcorn die hard style action flick.
