Old Doors ❤️ . . Our farmhouse may be a new build but the interior doors all have a story to tell. 🥰 . . Our pantry door was a road side find. It was originally a screened door that had been tossed aside as trash! 🙈 . . The chalk board, cork and tin are new but the chippy paint is original! 🥰 . . Last week was overwhelming with over twenty workers in the house, but I am thankful to be moving forward. This week has been focused on outside repairs, so I’ve spent most of it trying to get the house back in order, and yesterday I started on the decor boxes.🙌🏻💃🏻 I only have three of the built-in shelves styled, but those three have me so excited and especially getting to put this blue beauty on display.💙 I am hoping to get through the remaining boxes in our great room today and then get geared up for a restock at the booths. Had to share this beautiful tabletop Christmas tree on this Monday with you guys! 🎄 ⁣ @lynchcreekfarm sent me this Country Cabin mini tree and comes just as you see it here including a pack of white LED string lights ✨ ⁣ I think these are SO sweet! They use fresh noble fir sprigs to create this mini tree 🎄 ⁣ This would make a perfect hostess gift to send if you’re visiting family or friends this holiday season. Or a beautiful centerpiece for your table if you’re hosting! ⁣ It’s the sweetest little tree! ⁣ It says they can last at least 3 weeks indoors with some spritzing of water every couple days. I’m not hosting so I’ll move mine out on the screened porch for a sweet festive touch 🎄✨ ⁣ It will last a bit longer outside, maybe about 4-6 weeks! ⁣ I have a link in my bio and I’ll share a link in my stories if you want to check out the different styles they have available for their tabletop trees 🎄 ⁣ They also have beautiful wreaths, garlands and centerpieces 🎄 ⁣ ⁣ This morning before school, the boys helped me make snowflakes out of thrifted book pages which are sprinkled around the room 🥰❄️📖 ⁣ See those ice skates ⛸️ hanging up on my wooden vintage ladder? Are you ready for some loving? 💕 I thought I’d share a little LOVE 💗 with you on this first day of February! . . I found these DIY hearts that I had made from recycled corks and thought they’d be perfect on our repurposed wine cabinet. 💗 . . I also had these random letters that I had used during Christmas to spell out NOEL and only needed to switch one letter for a Valentines sign. “Why Not?” I said. 💗 . . So for the cost of a V and a little hot glue I have cute Valentines recycled and repurposed vignette! 🤗 . . BTW, the V was 1/2 price at Hobby Lobby and I saved a tutorial for the cork hearts on stories yesterday. Super super easy. 😊 . . Let’s talk about the wine cabinet. This was a Victrola cabinet, you know those old record players. We gutted the insides and my husband added the wooden x where the speaker used to be. Then I painted her up! It was just such a sturdy cabinet and so inexpensive that we had to find a use for it. Wine cabinet it is! . . Gearing up for the weekend! Happy Father’s Day! . . I thought I’d share this outdoor bar that my husband and I created inside an old covered boat dock. My dad built the dock around 1960 but it had filled in with debris. . . We put down pavers for the base and gathered rock from the property for the columns. This was our first attempt to lay rock 😬. Thankfully we were going for a rustic look. 🤣. . . Then we filled in between the columns with cedar posts that were pulled, perfectly preserved, from the Ponds. These were the posts from the original pier built over 60 years ago. We were amazed at their condition and couldn’t resist finding a use for them. We also added one for a bottle tree which you can see in my stories. . . We added old planks for the top. I added a little awning around the top (which just got replaced this week with fresh fabric). . . This is right beside the outdoor kitchen and is another of our favorite places to hang out in the evenings. . .
