Penelope took a step back and looked over at Vanderwood and asked “Does everything look alright Mar?” Penelope looked around at the bunker that she decorated for the twin's birthday with a bit of help from Vanderwood.

Vanderwood shrugged as they looked at the brunette “Looks fine to me, Pen I think you did a good job I mean you are a party coordinator for a reason” Penelope looked over at Vanderwood with a tilted head, brows furrowed with her hands balled on her hips.

“Seriously It looks fine it needs to be perfect for them I want them to have a good birthday,” Penelope said with a sigh as anxiety started to creep up on her “They never had a good birthday now they are back together again after years of not seeing each other.”

Penelope shook her head “Besides I want them to have the best birthday possible that I can give to them ya know”Vanderwood sighed placing a hand on Penelope’s right shoulder.

“Penelope I think you are overthinking it knowing zero-seven as well as I do I know he’ll love whatever you do for him regardless of what it is,” Vanderwood then Elbows Penelope with a half smile.

“So will Saeran he maybe an asshole but he still will live it because you took the time to do something for him” Penelope takes a breath and smiles back “Yeah your right thanks Vander, so now we need to add the extras and then get the cakes I made for them.”

Penelope walked into the kitchen getting Saeyoung’s cake out of the oven and smiled as she started to decorate it as a sunset with stars and moons and candles that said 23 on it.

Penelope eventually started to work on Saeran’s cake It was an ice cream cake with pastel pink and blues with a bit of bright red and a lavender color to symbolize herself and Saeyoung entering his life and helping heal from all that he’s been through and adds another thing of candles that says 23 on it.

Eventually, the twins got home and were greeted by an enthusiastic Penelope who took both of their hands and led them through the garage.

“I have a surprise for both of you that Vanderwood helped me with and I’m so excited to show you both I think you’ll love it!” Penelope had a big smile on her face “Oh boy” Saeran muttered with an unhappy look on his face that the Choi-Brenatto family knew wasn’t always meant to be taken as negative.

Penelope led them into the main part of the bunker and kept smiling as she went “Ta Da! Happy 23rd birthday you two you’re a year away from being a grandpa like I am!” When Penelope called herself grandpa it was always a joke she said about herself “Wow you and Ms. Vanderwood did this all by yourselves” Saeyoung said with a smile as he looked around Penelope nodded her head. “Well I wouldn’t say I did a lot for once Ms.Choi over her busted her ass off to do this” Vanderwood said as Saeran nodded his head “Yeah I’d believe that”

“Well, I’d say we both worked our asses off and I even busted out my core 40 from high school to bake the cakes and decorate them for you both. They have a little special meaning to them and I hope you love them.” Penelope stated as she had them sit down so they could relax and eat the cake and other foods Penelope made and bought.

When it got to gifts Penelope got the twins things they wanted for a long while and even included a few handmade bracelets that Penelope tended to make for those she loved and a few other things like coupons for an ice cream place Saeran liked and even a gift card and even a thing that paid for a months worth of therapy sessions. Safe to say Penelope spoiled the twins for their 23rd birthday which made it easily one of the best birthdays they had.
