The implication here that Mysteriape is actually a peacock (I know it was also actually a disguise, but this is funnier) under it all is.. Wild.

I have never read a spider-ham comic in my life, so idk how good this actually would be, but listen.

if I wrote a spider-ham comic, we all know I would have it be based around Mysterio. this is just my silly rough draft concept of what the story/comic could possibly be like.

(this is a little long, and yes it's inspired by [This Post]):

Mysteriape is doing some wacky little stunt thing against Spider-Ham, it's getting serious, the usual cartoony stuff, but then suddenly a second "Mysterio" appears-- a Moose? the fighting between Porker and Ape and Ape turns to engage with Moose.

Acedia, the little sloth, is standing behind Mooseterio. Porker takes notice and sneaks around the two Mysty's and decided to engage with her. Questioning her as Moose and Ape bicker and confront each other.

Mooseterio removes his helmet to show he's Quentin Bull. Porker is shocked, but he doesn't know why.

Mysteriape removes his own helmet to show he's Daniel Apehart. Again, Porker is surprised but doesn't know why. (this is just a gag)

it's revealed that Quentin was the original to have the costume and concept, but someone else got to him first before he even had a chance to go after Spider-Ham. (Acedia <3) and so, Daniel, who had been a friend of Quentin's for a long enough time to learn of the plan a little… Decided it would be such a waste of a concept and took over. Changing the name to fit himself and stealing Quentin's gadgets all for himself to use against Spider-Ham.

Quentin, although happy with Acedia, was growing frustrated and tired that Daniel was using his image for so long and wanted to set the record straight once and for all. Acedia understood but wanted to tag along to make sure he was okay and even helped him to recreate those gadgets and tools that were stolen from him.

Spider-Ham is trying to process all of this information.

Acedia is just kinda there for now and offers Porker some candy awhile they watch the two Mystys go at it for a bit with their illusions and stuff. Acedia explains herself in the meantime to Porker. how she also had abilities but didn't like being out in the open and all. Porker understands.

eventually the two mysterio tire themselves out and Quentin stands victorious for Spider-Ham to takeover and do with Daniel Apehart as he normally would.

Alright - favorite versions of mysterio? (Also I'm curious, it seems like you don't seem to care for the mcu version and that's fair and I have a sneaking suspicion I know why, but - what's the beef there?)

I've talked before about why I'm personally not a fan of the mcu version even despite having never watched the movie

Webspinners: uhm.. uhm have you seen that one panel of him.. when he's first entering his old childhood home? that one panel.. is def the best he's been drawn in that comic, but also.. your honor. @lazydaydrawings: ..I am not above being a lover of a good monster okay. And their Mysterio? 10/10 all around. I am very normal about him I swear-- (she is lying through her teeth) I desire to learn more about him and also the entire world that they came up with for their spidersona, too!! It's so cool and just!!! YOU GOTTA CHECK IT OUT. GO!! LOOK!!

Renew Tour Vows: I just like how he looks. there's like literally nothing to his character here. I just like how he looks... his design is..... very appealing.. a shame he was only present for like 0.5 seconds :( [just look at him]

Mooseterio: THIS CREATURE HAS NOTHING BUT [THAT ONE CANON PIECE OF ART] AND [HIS CAMEO IN ATSV]. I AM DEVASTATED. ME AND LIKE 2? OTHER PEOPLE ARE (rarely/occasionally) CREATING CONTENT FOR HIM. He is a goofy funny moose with googly eye cape clasps. Rocky & Bullwinkle wannabe (affectionate) Honestly I prefer this design over the Mysteriape one by a long shot. Same goes for MJ Waterbuffalo over Mary Crane Watsow. It just looks better, more fitting/more personality.

616 Comics: Alright I admit I like the basic 616 comic Mysterio, too. You can't love Mysterio without loving his OG variant. Old man ran an obstacle course marathon so all the others could do a leisurely jaunt. He grew on me the more I fell in deep with liking Mysterio in general :(

Who is to say that Mooseterio wasn't the original Quentin Beck (Bull) and the current Mysteriape is no more than someone else who took up the mantle in his place, seeing it as a loss of concept?

I mean. It's not like 616 Quentin Beck was the ONLY person to use the name and costume of "Mysterio", although he WAS the one who came up with it all.

So.. Why can't Mysteriape be one of the other 2 with names?

hmm.. But what would their ape pun name be? 🤔

the reason Mooseterio never appeared in a narrative story in the comics is cuz Acedia got to him first.

Quentin Bull was never seen by Spider-Ham. An imposter with a similar villainous identity showed up, Mysteriape, and he took the limelight away from Mooseterio, and actually has fought against Spider-Ham and his friends.

The imposter saw the title and everything as a waste of potential and took up the mantle himself. Finding the new 'Mysteriape' reworking of the name to be far superior.

This is all true, this is a fact, I swear!!
