Inktober day 17 Soooooooo I hated today’s prompt and I loved the new Mystery Skulls Animated so I kinda went off book today. Nothing like watching your favorite fall down a hill, then fall down a hole in a haunted truck, and then fall into a haunted cave so that was fun. Mystery Skulls Hellbent (Spoilers!)

I haven’t seen anyone post about this yet so I guess I’ll do it!

So on the last little panel of Mystery Skulls Hellbent animation you see this:

Now at first glance it’s just all the Characters in the last moments of the video: Lewis seeming confused, Arthur falling, Shirioi (or however you spell her name) about to stab Vivi, Vivi in pain, and Mystery turning into his kitsune form. But if you look closer at Lewis you notice something:

Lewis isn’t just confused, he’s scared and seems to also be sorrowful. Remember, This is after he drops Aruther into the pit after Aruther reconizged him. He also didn’t intentionally mean to drop Aruther, he most likely did it out of shock since he didn’t expect Aruther to recognize him. Also something else:

Look at his heart, it’s shattered and cracked immensely after he drops Aruther. He’s sad and upset that he dropped his best friend into the pit. The only time we’ve seen Lewis’ heart cracked was Ghost, the first animation. His heart dropped when Aruther pulled Vivi away from him literally. But his heart doesn’t fall here, it just shatters. This is because his heart didn’t go out from his body but then how did it break? Well, it broke because he immediately feels sorrow for pretty much dropping his friend to his doom. He’s upset and his heart literally breaks. Maybe the next episode we’ll see Lewis save Aruther and they’ll make up.
