Every year my mom gets a project at work to make costumes for teddy bears which are then donated to children in need at Christmas time. This year one of the bears she made was Miguel from #coco and since I like to help with the props, I got to make the guitar! (Process below if you are interested) . . . . First we ordered a tiny plastic guitar online (can be seen in the last picture). Second I made the clay piece to attach to the top to give the guitar it’s signature skull (which to be honest, I don’t like how it turned out but oh well). Third I sanded and painted the guitar white. Then I drew the details on with #acrylicmarkers and #sharpie (and nearly killed my sharpie with my impatience with paint drying).
