MODERN - Functional tea sets (standalone)

☕ I really love the new tea sets coming with My Wedding Stories GP. But if the default designs are lovely, they don’t fit contemporary interiors. I mean I’m playing super-rich supervillains at the moment, they live with modern designer’s furniture, they won’t spend money on antique porcelains 😄 But my witches will, so I’ve made a fully standalone mod that does not conflict with or override the original tea sets. 

!!!These tea sets require GP11 - My Wedding Stories in order to work properly!!!

⚠️ Compatible with July 26th Patch with a minor issue: Children can’t drink tea anymore. No error or LE (safe to use), interaction for children is just not here. I’m trying to figure out a fix.

The “Steep Orange Blossom” interaction won’t display any animation, it’s not a bug from this mod, it comes from the core scripting of this specific tea recipe.

Simself wedding 💍🏝️

The Simself household finally had the wedding and we streamed it on Twitch! We got married in Sulani with close friends and family 💖💖 My Wedding Stories is still so broken though, we had to ask the guests to sit down so many times, there were a lot of bugs 😭 This gorgeous lot is by @soulsistersims​ thank you for making it! Just spent 6 hours completely redoing all of Tartosa! I removed all residential lots and kept only one rental lot. (Tartosa IS the premier honeymoon spot, right?)

It now boasts three restaurants: one family-friendly, one romantic Italian, and one set in the Old Nectary. And (thanks to IceMunMun) the nectary is actually for tasting nectar with a custom menu. 

Also added in a park, a new lounge area (that looks like a museum but more fun), a spa (clothing optional!), and a beach area that I wish I could visit rn!

I’m so ready for my couple to go on their honeymoon...

Death Crashed My Sim's Wedding

This post is just for Sims fans. I planned a Sim's wedding because I just got Sims 4 My Wedding Stories pack. Omg, shoulda eloped. After a long elaborate planning process and several parties, there my sims are, looking picturesque, standing under the arbor at the beach saying their vows when DEATH rises up right behind the bride! The Officiating sim drops dead and everyone starts to mourn! In my flustered state I sent the wrong sim to plead with death and failed. *sigh*. And I thought my irl wedding went badly...

400 Followers!

Actually, it’s 423, but a good 10-15 of those seem to be bots of a dubious nature, so we’re just gonna call it 400. And 400 followers means it’s time for a follower gift!

These are all the wedding cakes from My Wedding Stories (I think). Unfortunately, they are deco only. I tried really, really hard to make them functional, but at this point, it’s still beyond my capability. If anyone can point me to a how-to-make-custom-foods or cakes tutorial though, I can certainly keep trying. In the meantime, these deco versions are super pretty and I think they can still find a home in bakery windows, bridal shops, and just for general storytelling purposes. 

They’re categorized in General > Party with all the other wedding and birthday cakes. Prices and names are as they appear in Sims 4. All recolors are included. The non-merged files have preview pictures of each recolor so you can pick and choose what you want to keep. Files are compressorized.

MUST-KEEP LABELS 🔵🟢🟡🔴:

🔵 quartz eyes mermaids: because i have lost count to how many mermaid eyes i've tried until i decided these were the best for my style. personally i am a huge fan of llamaloaf's opal eyes, but for mermaids i definitely prefer llamaloaf's quarts eyes.

🟢 siren ears set: a must-keep if you wanna play mermaids in the sims. i love both pierced and bare versions.

🟢 mermaids tattoos: also a must-keep to play mermaids. it's subtle and overlays the entire body. i really suggest using it.

🔴 mermaid scales & tail recolors: just because they are colorful.

🔴 gunshow fangs: not needed, really. but i like this version better for mermaids than the ea original. i'm keeping them even though i don't find them fitted for vampires.

🔴 lavellan braids: because i really-really like them.

🔴 subtle scallops top: not a necessary item, sure. but it's the most perfect mermaid top if you have little mermaid in mind.
