Rules, kinks and favorite idols/groups

I've had this blog for a while but finally I'm not busy enough to keep it active. So there are the rules:

Idols must be 18 or older (obviously).

Sex must always be consensual.

Besides rape, I also avoid stuff like scat, vomit and necrophilia.

I don't write G!P smuts. I allow for the use of strap-ons but not actual penises for idols that have vaginas.

I keep note on every request and will select a few if the story fits. All smuts will feature at least one female idol and a male reader.

Here’s my top 60 kpop songs of 2022 x They’re not in order by number because it was too hard, and they’re also not in order of the release date. I’ve put my favorite kpop groups and artists first with a heart behind, in order of who i like better, and the rest is random. Support Older Girl Groups Pt. 5: Apink

This week on Support Older Girl Groups we are supporting Apink. If you want to know why you should participate even if this week isn’t about a group you stan, check out this post. If you are new to this project, it is a series of weekly masterposts of videos to watch to support older girl groups.

This is not everything from Apink, this is some videos that need the view counts to go up with the intention of boosting Apink’s popularity, and helping out older girl groups!

About the Group

Apink is a six member group under Plan A Entertainment that was formed in 2011.They are known for being a Bubblegum Pop group with a cute, comfortable, innocent concept. Their infectious sound will keep you listening to them all day! 

Their current line up in Naeun, Bomi, Eunji, Chorong, Namojoo, and Hayoung. They are all so talented and I love their visuals, of both them and their videos.

Five Is Apink’s comeback from a couple days ago. It is so nice to watch and I love this style. It almost reminds me of older kpop stuff. This song is so sweet and I highly recommend it. It currently has 2,259,653 views, which isn’t bad for a new song. Let’s get it to 5mil even sooner! I’m really excited to see Apink do well.

Always was a comeback from 2 months ago. It’s another very sweet song by them and it’s very calming and nice to listen to. this song and music video just make me really happy. But sadly, it only got 3,001,267 views. Let’s get it to 5mil!

Cause You’re My Star was Apink’s comeback from last December. This song shows off Apink’s more mature side, while still having the beautiful aesthetic that makes them so lovable. It sadly only got  6,676,231 views. Let’s show them love and get it to 10mil!

Mr. Chu is a classic Apink song from 2014. It kind of feels like a Gfriend and Red Velvet crossover, but it’s not, it’s Apink! This is one of my favorite songs by Apink, and think it shows off what is great about them best. It's getting close to 50mil, it’s currently at 43,753,005 views. Let’s give them a view boost!

In February 2011, A Cube Entertainment announced the first trainee for their new girl group APINK: Son Naeun. She was featured in various MVs before like Beast’s “Soom”, “Beautiful” and “니가 제일 좋아”. Chorong who appeared at the end of Beast’ music videos in late 2010 as well, was announced to be the leader of the group. Hayoung was announced as a third member and in March, Eunji was introduced through a video on their twitter acount singing a rendition of Jennifer Hudsons “Love you I do”. Hong Yoo-kyung was similarly announced through an online video where she was playing the piano. The last two members, Bomi and Namjoo, were introduced through the group's reality show, Apink News.

Still in November, Apink received their first award, the "Female Rookie Award", at the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards. In January 2012, they received three more "Rookie Awards", at the Korean Culture & Entertainment Awards and the Golden Disk Awards. In January 2012, Apink won their first music show award on Mnet's M Countdown for "My My". 

In April 2013, Hong Yoo-kyung left the group to focus on her studies.

Their fourth EP, Pink Blossom, and the music video for its title track, "Mr. Chu" was released in 2014. “Mr.Chu” quickly became their most known song until today. Apink won six music show trophies for "Mr. Chu", and the song was the eighth best selling digital song in 2014, according to Gaon's year-end chart.

On January 10, 2015, Apink became the first group to win five consecutive awards on Music Core. The same month, the group received the "Digital Bonsang" and "Best Female Performance Group" awards at the 29th Golden Disk Awards in Beijing, "Bonsang" and "Popularity" awards at the Seoul Music Awards, "Best Female Group" at the Korean Culture and Entertainment Awards and "Best Single of December" at the Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards. Apink was the best selling girl group of 2015. 

Ever since then Apink became a stable group, that not just sell out many concerts, win lots of awards but continue to show different sides and talents! They are known for being outspoken about issues concerning the music industry surrounding kpop and having a very good relationship with their fans Pink Panda. They work on charities together and help raise awareness on different occasions. Their latest single is called “%% (EungEung)”.

Not even as a ‘for a human’, because he’s met beautiful humans before. Yet, none of them measured up to Namjoon. He eclipsed them all in Jimin’s eyes. 

How can someone make him feel this way so easily? 

“-No way!” Namjoon’s eyes widened in shock, “Minyoung was behind it the whole time! She switched up the papers!”

“Yeah, she’s a sneaky one,” Jimin said, still not watching the TV. 

He reached up around Namjoon’s head to his hair. Brown locks slipped through his fingers like seaweed. This caught Namjoon’s attention. When their eyes met, Jimin could not look away. Brown eyes the color of dark wood, they carried a natural warmth to them. It’s the warmth of the forest on a spring day, fresh and gentle. The woods are in his eyes, Jimin thought, like how his mother told him the sea is in his. Jimin let out a soft hum from behind his lips, leaning further up to Namjoon who inched closer. 

“You don’t have to do that,” he whispered to Jimin. 

“Do what?”

“Charm me with your voice,” he placed his hand on Jimin’s jaw. “You don’t have to charm me to make me fall for you.”

He beamed, “So you’re in love with me already, huh?”

“I…” he pushed back hair from Jimin’s face, “I don’t really know. I only know that I really like being around you. There’s...Gosh, I wish I could explain it,” he laughed softly. “I really could.”

“Try.”

“When I’m with you,” he paused, “It’s different than with other people around here. With you, I don’t worry about anything. I can be me with you. I feel like there’s this...I don’t know, like a connection? Not in the way they do in films where it’s love at first sight and ‘oh my god we click so well’. It’s different. It feels older and deeper.” 

Taehyung told him what it might be. He’d gone to the infirmary wing that afternoon before he left for the Kusan trip. Taehyung knew more about spiritual things than anyone else; Spellcasters often study things like that.

‘Maybe he has a spiritual connection to the earth?...No, not the way our people do. He can’t manipulate or control it; he simply will feel ‘at home’ in whatever environment he’s in. Like how some people are drawn to the ocean or really like flowers or are good with animals. I always see him sitting in the garden during his free periods. Hayoung let him have one of the Trap plants from the greenhouse, she said it actually liked him. It doesn’t bite his fingers...So, that might be why you’re so drawn to him. I hate to tell you, babe, but you’re part fish.’ 

“Do you...Do you believe in connections? I mean two people being drawn to each other?”

“Like fate?”

“Not fate, but,” he left Namjoon’s arms to turn and face him, “But a spiritual connection?”

“You mean soulmates?”

“Yeah. Yeah, I guess kind of like that.” The confusion juggled his thoughts around. “When you sit in a garden or walk through a park or a forest, how do you feel?”

“How do I feel?”

“Yeah, does it make you happy or peaceful or anything like that?”

“It makes me feel a lot of things. There’s no noise or people to distract me from my thoughts. We used to have a forest behind my house growing up and my mom liked taking me there. She’d show me the different plants and flowers I can eat; the best ponds and lakes to swim in. It felt almost magical sometimes. I guess it’s ‘my thing’, you know?” he then asked, “I assume you’re the same but with oceans or water?”

“I prefer the ocean,” Jimin answered. “It’s where I was born and there’s so much more space. The lake might be big and deep, but it doesn’t beat the open sea.” He then continued, “Taehyung told me that maybe that’s the reason you’re so drawn to...you know, whatever you’re drawn to.” It’d be too quick to say ‘to me’. “Or why I like being around you so much.”

“You think we’re soulmates or something?”

“I don’t know yet. It’s only been a week since you got here.”

 Jimin knew he felt something for Namjoon; it’s something real and pure. He’s never wanted this with anyone before, least of all a human. Humans are such fragile, sensitive things. He knew if he wanted, he could rip out Namjoon’s throat with his teeth. But instead, he gently planted a kiss on the base of his neck. Yes, he started there and then worked up to his lips. They’re heavenly. They’re better than a dip in the lake on a summer day or singing in the choir room. Jimin pressed his lips to Namjoon’s, savoring the sweet tea on them before deepening it. Namjoon’s arms went around him again to pull him closer. It’s as if the world finally made sense. Everything is alright now because he’s kissing Namjoon the way he should. He didn't feel scared or uncertain then. Straddling his lap now, he let his fingers slide up into Namjoon’s soft hair for a gentle tug. He fits so perfectly against his chest. He's meant to be here. He can feel it thumping in his heart. Namjoon is his. The hands going up under his shirt made him quiver; they’re fire warming his cold-blooded skin. He dived deeper into their kiss, completely losing himself in the waves coming over him.

The sudden thundering of footsteps caught their attention. They jumped apart as Ruke stomped in through the front door. Panting and clutching his chest, he doubled over by the door. “Ruke,” Namjoon left the couch for the woodland troll, “What’s wrong? What’s happened?”

“Headmaster need Merman and Namjoon now,” Ruke huffed. “Ruke run here.”

“Has something happened?” Jimin asked worriedly, sliding off the couch towards him. He thought the absolute worse. It might’ve not been the best idea to let a Saturday trip happen considering the times. “Is someone hurt?”

“Headmaster tells Merman everything when Merman come.”

Ruke said nothing else and made a start back out the door. Jimin and Namjoon grabbed jackets and followed him up to the school. Thousands of horrible things went through Jimin’s mind. One of the students or teachers might’ve been injured. Hunters might have pillaged the town. It must be awful if Jin has called everyone to his office. They reached the headmaster’s office in the school. Out the windows he can see students coming back from Kusan. They’ll be going down to the hall for dinner. Did they know what happened? He didn’t catch any rushing or fear in them. What happened then? 

The voices became clearer once they opened the door. In Jin’s galaxy office, the other teachers stood around the room anxiously waiting. He sensed the tension building amongst them. Jin must’ve held back the news until everyone arrived. He saw the concern in all of them. Things have not been any easier since the school year started. It seemed unreal that moments ago him and Namjoon had kissed. 

“Namjoon, Jimin, you’re here,” Jin called from his desk. “Please have a seat.” When everybody sat in various places around the room, he spoke, “I called everybody here because I wanted you all to know before the news gets out tomorrow.” He took a deep breath. Jimin recognized the sadness in his eyes mixed in regret and guilt. “A few hours ago, I received word that Michael Flint was found dead in his home.” 

The news struck Jimin in the chest. Flint dead? Despite his age, Jimin never imagined the old wolf dying. He recalled his greying hair and kind hazel eyes behind silver-rimmed glasses. Always there for advice, always there for bits of knowledge and wisdom. Jimin recalled him suggesting a tunnel system for Coral’s open-sea hunts. The idea of him being murdered...Jimin leaned into someone’s arms, giving him the safety to shed his tears. Beside him, Taehyung buried his face in his hands to sob. Hoseok’s rage blossomed in his chest, causing him to grab a nearby vase and fling it to a wall. Yoongi, however, remained stoic. 

“What happened?” he asked Jin. 

“It’s hard to say at the moment, but the police believe…” he gulped thickly, “He might have been tortured. They found several defensive wounds, but it appeared he’d been tied down with some kind of silver wire. We don’t know why they’d done it, though I am putting the school on full alert. The police chief is going to call me soon so we may set up more security, but until then, we must protect our students. Michael would’ve...he would’ve wanted us to do that.” 

“Marietta…” Taehyung whispered woefully. “Oh, the poor girl is going to be crushed when she hears. She already lost her family and now her grandfather too?.”

“She has family,” Hoseok clenched his fists, trying to calm himself. “I’ll contact my pack back home and see if anyone will take her in. Us wolves are all family in the end.” He looked to Jin, “I’ll tell her myself tomorrow.”

“Are they sure it was torture?” asked Yoongi. “What makes them think that?”

“Besides the silver bindings, they burned him with hot steel and plucked at his fur. He had bald...bal...bald patches on his body from where they picked at him.” Jimin saw the headmaster keeping himself composed, but his eyes gave him away. Teary, he forced them back. “They found several of his personal belongings missing as well. They think it’s the same group of hunters, but this time they changed their signature. They only burnt his garden to attract people, not his house.”

“Why?”

“They say they don’t know.” 

Yoongi turned his head to where he and Namjoon sat. “Funny,” he faced them, glaring at Namjoon, “How the week a human shows up here, a teacher close to the school is murdered in his home? Strange, isn’t it?” 

“I-I-I had nothing to do...you can’t seriously think I’d do something like that to another person,” Namjoon furrowed his brow in confusion. “I didn’t know him. How could I possibly hurt him?”

“It didn’t have to be you. You could’ve contacted some hunter group in the area and told them about us. They can’t attack the school; we’re too big for them. But they can attack our students, our teachers, our families. I’m only pointing out that these attacks are happening more and more frequently since you arrived.” 

“I don’t...I didn’t…” 

“Vampire stay away from Namjoon,” Ruke stomped in front of Namjoon. He curled his fists and said, “Namjoon is good human. Namjoon no hurt Mikey.” 

“So, back off, Yoongi.” Hoseok stepped between them. Chest puffed out, the news mingled with Yoongi’s accusation can make him pop off any moment. “He didn’t have anything to do with it.”

“How do you know?”

“Because he’s been me with since you all left for Kusan,” Jimin interrupted, wiping his eyes. “When could he have done it if he’s been with me?”

“See? So sit down,” Hoseok growled. 

“He still should be questioned,” Yoongi told him and Jin. “He’s a human for Christ’s sake! He shouldn’t even be here! We’re in a very dangerous situation, and having him here doesn’t make anyone feel any better.”

“You mean it doesn’t make YOU feel better,” Jimin spoke over Hoseok’s shoulder. “I know you hate humans, but Namjoon’s not a hunter. You have heightened senses, Yoongi. All hunters smell the same, and Namjoon doesn’t smell like them.” He looked into Yoongi’s eyes, a deep brown rimmed by crimson. “He’s not like them. He’s kind and smells like pine trees. You smell that, don’t you?”

“I suggest you back off now, Bat,” Hoseok spat out the last word. “Before I make you.”

Yoongi and he stared at each other eye to eye, nearly nose-to-nose. It quaked inside them both: Anger, grief, sadness, and pain. The news of losing another friend put them both on edge. Werewolves and vampires are the most heavily hunted races. Jimin understood Yoongi’s fears. He can feel the fear all over him despite attempts to hide it. But to accuse Namjoon simply because he’s here? The entire room stayed silent watching them snarl and growl at each other. 

“What are you going to do, huh?” Yoongi challenged, shoving him. “Howl at me? Cry when I rip your friend apart piece by piece?”

“You wanna see what I’ll do? I’ll show you!” Hoseok shoved back. 

“Go ahead!”

“Yoongi, stop it!” 

Jungkook came to Yoongi’s side and put a hand to his chest. Ruke lifted Hoseok by the scruff of his neck and placed him by the sofa. Jungkook whispered words nobody could hear. Jimin knew only Jungkook’s words of comfort, reason and love will soothe Yoongi. The vampire settled down, stepping back with Jungkook’s guidance, though continued glaring at Namjoon. Jimin sat next to Namjoon, who kept his nerves under control, but everyone could see it. Namjoon, at the end of the day, is a human. A weak human who can’t defend himself against someone like Yoongi. Not physically anyways. 

“Babe, we all know that you’re only concerned about the students’ safety,” Jungkook looked to the room, despite holding Yoongi still. “A lot of what’s been going on is scaring everybody, and it’s understandable for some of us to be worried.”

“But to accuse me of hurting someone?” Namjoon spoke, standing up. “When have I ever acted malicious or mean? If I’d planned on telling someone, Taehyung would’ve just read my mind or Jimin could’ve like sang a song or something. I’m sure as a vampire you have mind tricks of your own.”

“As a matter of fact, I do,” Yoongi gently pushed Jungkook aside. 

“Then use them,” he challenged, “Unless you’re so old you don’t trust your own senses anymore?”

Yoongi looked at him affronted. “My senses are sharper than ever.”

“Then do it. Get me to tell you the truth. If you’re that worried, you’d do it.” He saw their quizzical looks, “I don’t know about the rest of you, but Yoongi’s suspicions of me are getting annoying. Ever since I’ve arrived he’s been all over me. I’m sick of it. If he’s so damned worried, he should find out for himself. Nothing we say is going to convince him otherwise. So, let’s go. Hypnotize me or whatever it is you can do.” 

“Then I will,” Yoongi rushed towards him, but was stopped by Ruke’s tree-bark arm. The troll gave a low rumble from his chest that’d scare anyone. “Out of my way, Ruke.”

“Ruke protect Namjoon.”

“Yoongi,” Taehyung sniffled, “He’s right. He’s not a hunter and he doesn’t know any either. Just let it go. Please,” he wiped his eyes with the back of his wrists. “We’re all scared, but we shouldn’t take it out on each other. Flint wouldn’t want us all fighting and accusing each other this way. He’d want us to solve this issue together and do what’s best for the kids.”

“No,” Namjoon shook his head, putting down Ruke’s arm, “He’s not going to stop until he’s satisfied. So, come on. Do it. Burrow into my mind and find out what a horrible human you think I am.” 

“Yoongi,” Jin finally spoke, “You’ve been absolutely ridiculous about this whole thing. Namjoon has been nothing but good to our students. He’s done nothing to make us suspicious of him. Taehyung is right. Flint would be more concerned about the childrens’ safety over whatever little squabble is going on amongst us.” 

“But apparently I’ve done something to make Yoongi suspicious,” Namjoon retorted. “I’d like to know what it is."

Jimin wanted to go to him. He wanted to hiss and claw at Yoongi for even walking in Namjoon’s direction. But, something told him getting involved might not work out well. He saw Yoongi inch closer to Namjoon, and this time Namjoon didn’t look away. Yoongi stared back up into Namjoon’s eyes. Slowly, he saw the defiance in Namjoon fade away into blankness. They all watched him interrogate Namjoon. He asked him all kinds of personal questions about family and friends. He asked him if he knew about Non-Humans before he came to Woodstone; was he aware Woodstone is for Non-Humans? Does he secretly dislike anyone and has he thought about killing them? 

“Yoongi, this is ridiculous,” Jin sighed after hearing Yoongi ask if Namjoon had any hunters in his family. Hands rubbing his temples, the headmaster’s patience wore thin. Jimin saw him starting to shake, and Taehyung moved over to his desk. “He’s not a hunter. These attacks have nothing to do with him but everything to do with us. We need to protect the students, and we can’t do that if we’re watching you play drama cop with Namjoon.” 

He walked over to the pair and shook Namjoon by the shoulders. He did this until life came back in Namjoon’s eyes. “What happened?” he groaned, rubbing his forehead. He shifted slightly in place, mostly still blinded by the ongoing hypnosis. “My head’s killing me.” 

“I’m so sorry, Namjoon,” Jin frowned. “Are you satisfied, Yoongi?” the shapeshifter turned on the vampire. Jimin noticed his eyes shine a violet color and Yoongi subtly moved back from him. “We have much larger problems on our hands than this. You should be concerned with what’s going outside these walls than whatever your paranoid mind invented.”

“Jin, calm down,” said Taehyung, putting a hand on his chest. 

“He meant well by it, Jin,” Jungkook shielded Yoongi from him. 

“I’m only thinking of our students and teachers here.”

“Which is wonderful. I am happy I have a Deputy who cares for our school like you do, but this has to stop. Ever since he arrived, you’ve been talking my ear off about questioning him. Now you’ve done it. You could’ve melted his mind, you know,” he seethed. “You did it for too long and now look at him.” Namjoon swayed in place before Ruke caught him. “Are you happy now? Can we please move onto something important like securing our perimeters and scheduling stricter timetables?”

Yoongi’s bravery faltered in front of the broad shapeshifter. Jimin did not blame him. He’d back away too if he angered a shapeshifter. “Yes, Headmaster,” Yoongi bowed his head. He turned to Namjoon, who’d fallen into Ruke’s arms, “Namjoon, I...I, um...Uh, well...You know...Yes, there seems to be nothing to support my previous claims...The students do all seem to like you for some reason...You are actually a decent teacher; one of the Reynolds girls told me you disproved a lot of the history books...And Jungkook…” he glanced to the boy, “...Thank you for teaching him about humans...Thank you and..I’m...I’m, uh,...Sorry. Yes. Apologize. I apologize.”

“‘Sokay,” Namjoon mumbled. 

“Good. That’s settled,” Jin fixed his jacket. “Taehyung, Ruke, please take Namjoon to the infirmary to lie down. The rest of you, I have made some decisions I’d like to run by you all.” 

Jimin made to stand, but Taehyung put a hand on his shoulder. He should stay. He knows that’s what’s best but knowing Namjoon isn’t well unsettled him. He sat back down on the sofa; Hoseok took Namjoon’s place beside him. For a moment, he wished Flint sat there with them. He already saw him: the man fixing his glasses on his nose, sitting up straight and demanding Yoongi ‘stop his foolishness’. Flint would have seen Namjoon’s goodness the second he walked in the door. He’d defend him right away. Thinking this made Jimin miss him more and more. He shut his eyes as visions of his broken and bruised body came to him. Who would do this? Why? Flint never hurt anyone. He’d been a kind man who loved his job and his students. He looked to Hoseok as Jin began speaking. He can see it: the alpha wolf using all his strength not to shut down in front of others. He’s an alpha and alphas never cry. Jimin hugged his arm and hummed a melody. A calming melody he often sang to Coral to help her sleep. Hoseok appeared to relax for the time being. 

Jin’s plans sounded simple enough: he’d made up scheduled field patrol hours for the staff, enlisted trolls to patrol corridors at night and during class times. Anyone coming into the school will be thoroughly searched and sniffed. He also emphasized on informing the students to be on alert and report anything suspicious to a staff member. 

“What will we tell the kids? About Flint, I mean,” asked Jungkook. “They should know.”

“I’ll make the announcement tomorrow morning. I’ve decided classes are cancelled until Wednesday,” he replied. “Until then, I’d like us all to refrain from telling them. Agreed?”

They nodded. Jin dismissed them once his phone rang, most likely the chief of police. Jimin went out into the hallway and headed towards the infirmary wing. When he reached the end of the hall, he saw Hoseok walking towards the field instead. Namjoon is in Taehyung’s capable hands. He followed him out to the football field where he saw Hoseok hop over the fence towards the forest. Even on land, his senses tingled. He felt despair and guilt seeping through the anger. It overpowered it the farther they moved into the woods. In the dimness of the woods, surrounded by tall trees, plants and flowers, Hoseok stopped at a small pond outside a cave. Jimin recognized Hoseok’s den. He slept in the school, of course, but here is where he truly belongs. Reaching the edge of the pool, Hoseok crashed onto his knees. All the pain inside him finally came out in hot tears. Jimin didn’t hide anymore. He pushed through the bushes and hugged Hoseok tightly. The werewolf did not fight him off. He let himself be held as his body shook and cries grew louder and harsher in his throat. 

“I should’ve gone to him! I should’ve gone to where he was and brought him here!” Hoseok sobbed into Jimin’s arm. “He told me! He told me somebody was following him and I told him he was being paranoid! I didn’t think anything of it! Flint is...was...an Alpha. We can handle anything! I should’ve been there, but I wasn’t and now he’s gone!”

“Hoseok, what do you mean?”

“He called on me a few days ago,” he sniffled. “He...He said he thought he saw somebody lurking around his house. He thought it might be a human because of their smell. I told him his mind...I told him his mind might be playing tricks on him!” he collapsed against Jimin’s chest. “He’d been really worried about all the stuff going on lately, but I said he’d near the school and nobody knows about us. I really thought he’d be okay, Jimin. I should’ve gone to check up on him when he didn’t answer my calls after. I should’ve scouted out his place to see if he was right, and he was, and they killed him!” he buried his face in Jimin’s shoulder. “They tortured him. They humiliated and degraded him. He was the kindest werewolf you’d meet anywhere; he always believed in the best of people even if they didn’t...if they didn’t deserve it. Why? Why him? Out of all the people in the world?”

Jimin held him close, not letting him go until his cries subsided. He helped Hoseok into his dwelling to sleep. He felt terrible all around. Going back to the lake, he considered Hoseok’s words. These hunters, whoever they are, will know about the school now. That’s what they must’ve questioned Flint about, and he died protecting it. Whether he said anything isn’t certain, but it left a sick feeling in Jimin’s stomach. His cheeks were wet by the time he reached the lake. In the middle of the still water, he saw a cluster of bubbles come up from under the surface. Coral is home. Good. He needed to think. Stripping off his clothes, he dived into the water where his form changed. It felt relieving to be rid of his human form for a while. Swimming down towards the bottom, he saw a glint of her scales. The loveliest shade of blue-green, it glimmered in the light reflecting downwards. He saw the flicker of a tail disappear into a cave underneath his cabin; Jimin followed her inside. 

“Coral?” 

The cave underneath Jimin’s cabin is wide and surrounded by rocks and sand. Twinkling stones and gems stayed stuck into parts of the wall, which added color to the black rocks; on the ceiling, he’d carved out an entrance from his cabin bathroom. The lighting from above gave a single ray into the dark waters. However, Jimin didn’t need light to look around in the water. He swam towards a dune located in the center of the underground cave. There she sat: her short legs tucked underneath her belly, her tail curled around her side to her long neck. She’s massive for her age. When he'd found her, she'd match the size of two school buses. Now, she's the length of six buses. He took a seat at the edge of the dip of land near her head. Long, narrow with a wet snout, he saw the smoothness of her scales clearly. He said nothing when he rubbed the sensitive area between her slanted amber eyes, and hugged her nose. She gave a short huff to signify her understanding. 

“Flint is dead,” he whispered. “Someone killed him.”

She lamented in a low cooing sound and pushed her nose to him. “I know, I know. You liked him a lot,” he continued. “He did a lot of nice things for you. But, someone hunted him. They killed him and I think they might...they might know about us now.” When she tilted her head, he answered, “They wouldn’t have attacked him for no reason. He was a teacher here, so he’d have information other people don’t.” He stopped himself to think. Stroking her nose, he said, “They’ve gone after people who have connections to us. Families who send their children here, people who work or live in the area. Now, they’ve murdered a teacher. Maybe they’re trying to gather information while distracting us at the same time. Hoseok should tell Jin about it, but he’s so upset right now.” He heard her soft cries and he glided around to her neck where he hugged her again. “Everybody is.” 

The two sat in silence while the bathroom light above cut through the water’s surface. He thought of going to visit Namjoon in the morning. Knowing Taehyung, he’ll be there until tomorrow for observation. Namjoon would tell him to go to Jin with the information; inform someone about what Hoseok knows or tell Hoseok to go. He’s sure Hoseok will do the right thing and take care of it all. Yet, the unsettling image of his friend dead on the floor came back to his mind. His eyes drifting, let the tiredness take over him.

He thought his brain might melt into jelly. Whatever drink Taehyung gave him definitely relieved his headache. He knew he should move: to go to the bathroom, go eat something or at least walk around. But, his mind became too drowsy from the medicine Taehyung administered. The nurse told him he should stay overnight for observation; he’ll feel much better in the morning, he said. According to Taehyung, being underneath hypnosis for too long can cause a severe headache, fatigue, drowsiness and-in major cases- slip into a coma. He supposed it’d be worth it though. Yoongi will no longer be spying on him or asking people about him. 

He gazed around the room as the morning sun peeked through the curtains. The silence of the infirmary unnerved him slightly, but it was soon broken by a loud snore. He glanced over to the side of his bed where Ruke sat sleeping in a chair. A twittering bird sat in the nest he’d created on his head, quickly looking around for a way out. He’d normally get up to open the window, yet he felt too comfortable in the bed. His mind must not be completely there yet. He let the troll and bird sleep, carefully rolling over onto his side. He tried recalling yesterday when they’d been in Jin’s office. Someone is dead. The teacher he’d replaced is dead now. Not even knowing him, Namjoon still felt sorry for him. Everyone seemed so upset by the news, especially Hoseok. He supposed it’d be natural. 

Then he remembered the moment before that. The moment his lips touched Jimin’s for the first time. He’s tasteless, but in a nice sense. He can still feel Jimin’s soft lips massaging against his as they opened up for him. Jimin is so plush everywhere: his arms, his stomach, his thighs and backside. He could kiss him forever and never had enough. He wanted to tell Jimin right then and there how he felt. He can’t explain his feelings or why he feels them. A ‘connection’ sounds cliche and stupid. Nobody has ‘connections’ like that. It bothered him actually, since he wanted their closeness to be real, not based on some universal-magical theory. Jimin only liking him because of this ‘connection’ somewhat hurt when he thought about it. He decided he’d look into it more. Maybe his feelings are completely based on this idea and not his own true self. 

“Morning,” Taehyung drew back the curtains beside his bed, “Time to wake up sleepy head.”

“More like jello head,” Namjoon moaned, too lazy to rub his eyes. 

Taehyung chuckled, “Yeah, that’ll happen to you. At least open your eyes for me. I gotta see if your brain still works.” He took out a small flashlight. “Just follow the light with your eyes.”

Namjoon followed them up, then down, then left and right. “Alright, perfect. You seem to be in working order, but if you still feel wobbly, you can stay in bed until you’re energized again.”

“Class?”

“They’ve been cancelled until Wednesday. Jin broke the news to the students this morning after breakfast,” he went to Namjoon’s bedside and poured a cup of water for him. “They’re all so upset. Hoseok took the wolves into the forest for the next few days; the others are in their dorms. I’ve never seen this place so quiet before.” He brought the cup over, “Sit up and drink this. You need to hydrate.” 

It took him a minute or so, but he inched his way up to gulp down the water. It soothed the dryness of his throat, “Thank you, Taehyung. Really.”

“It’s what I do,” he shrugged, giving a soft smile. “I like to take care of people. It’s why I became the head nurse.” 

He paused, “Taehyung? Can I ask you something?”

“Sure.” 

“Do you know anything about….about ‘spiritual connections’?” 

His smile grew into a box. His eyes teased Namjoon as he said, “I do. Why? Is there a certain somebody you’re attracted to around here?”

“Yes. There is, but...But I’m worried this feeling isn’t genuine. Like, he’s only feeling the same way because of the connection and not because he actually likes me back.”

“Oh ho, ho,” Taehyung snickered, beginning to fold a nearby sheet. “He likes you for real all right. He came asking me the same question. He doesn’t understand it either, and I don’t think it really matters.”

“It doesn’t matter?”

“No. Okay, you have this weird soulmates thing going on, and maybe that started the initial attraction. But, it’s you guys who chose to act on it rather than ignore it. Jimin’s liked lots of guys over the years. His kind falls in and out of love very quickly and easily.”

“Gee, thanks.”

“But, he hasn’t acted the way he does with you.” Taehyung stopped folding to look at him, “He talks about you, not what you look like. He likes that you write notes in a journal. He likes that you sit in the garden during your free period and like to read books in your spare time. He likes the way you smile when there’s chocolate cake for dessert; that you absolutely HAVE to have ketchup on your burgers.” 

He hid his blus from Taehyung. “There are things I like about him too.”

“I’m sure.” He came back to the bed, refilling his cup. “So, don’t sweat this connection stuff too much. Focus on your actual feelings and not what the universe is telling you.” 

“Right.”

But, of course, he will sweat it anyways.
