The beautiful Nagar Valley is is previously known as Broshal valley located in Nagar District of Gilgit Baltistan. The valley is about 15 kilometers from Hunza Valley and 105 kilometers from Gilgit. Hunza and Nagar are sister valleys separated by the Hunza River which marks the border between the two valleys. Ghulmet, Minapin, Chaprote and Hopar Valleys are popular tourist attractions because of the amazing scenery and surrounded by the high mountain peaks including Rakaposhi, Diran Peak, Golden Peak, and Rush Peak and many others. The valley is also known for its delicious fruits, beautiful landmark monuments, and also for its changing colors in different seasons. Although the valley is spread in a vast region and is situated at an elevation of 2,438 m. Hopar Valley and Glaciers Hopar Valley is a part of Nagar Valley and one of the most beautiful places in Nagar. Hopar valley and Glacier are big attractions for the tourists who are visiting the Nagar valley. It is at nearly 10 KM from Nagar Khas, the principal city of Nagar Valley. A land of a lush green plain surrounded by snow-clad mountains. The glacier is also very picturesquely solid snow mixed with mud that can be seen till miles. It's one the remote areas in Nagar District with only 40 homes of Shia and Shina Speakers. The reason for this remoteness is safety from Barbarians who used to came from Darel and other far flung areas. Doudo Das is important as it has 600 years old settlement with many Old Stuff used by locals. It can be a historical site if a government pays attention towards this village and locals can earn by converting those houses and items into museum or archaeological site. This village also has gems and Salajeet( a black substance from Mountains, used as cure for Bone disease and Weaknesses) in its mountains. In addition to this, This land has numerous Hot springs and one waterfall. Majority of People are landowners and do agricultural and livestock farming.
