Nothing like watching your sweet sensei take apart Vaati without batting an eye.
I saw that reference image and IMMEDIATELY knew what I had to do with it. I’ve been working on this for an AGE and I know the og image says Super Mario Land but I figured it was a good time to shout out my favourite GBA game of all time, 🦆Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap🦆. I first played it multiple times to completion on the PSP and then later on a GBA emulator on my pc after our PSP died on us. I still love it to bits to this day 💖
Also you can see how I figured I liked the image more when it was flipped and then had to flip Kakashi’s hair and scar to be accurate. Also drew myself a little Kakashi face ✨as a treat✨ before I covered it with the mask
[ID: Naruto fanart of genin Team 7 plus Kakashi crowding around Iruka, who's playing on a Game Boy with an eyebrow raised. The kids look intense and impressed, Kakashi's leaning down to watch with an arm around Sakura, and Iruka's hair is down. The background is taken from Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. Image two zooms in further on everyone's faces.
Image three is the reference, a photo of four kids standing around their mother on a Gameboy, captioned "A mom helping her kids beat a hard level in Super Mario Land, 1990s." The last three images are progress photos of the art. End ID] (many many thanks to @princess-of-purple-prose for the description, I’ll add these to what I have up and to the rest of my art too, going forward!)

Stump! What was the first video game you played?
Whoa! I actually don't know... let me think
do mobile games count? if so then i think it would be either a cowboy flying game (Johnny Crash does Texas) (what a name) on my Sony Ericsson flip phone or a Bounce game on my Nokia phone
OR WAIT HOLD ON my moms cooler nokia phone had games on it as well!!! IT HAD A SHREK THE THIRD GAME I REMEMBER THAT (IT REQUIRED SO MUCH SKILL WITH 1-9 BUTTONS GRAHH), and also a building game? and a who wants to be a millionaire game, so now i don't truly know which of these could be the first one, im sorry 😭😭
this is such a cool question, i want to answer it for my own sake, let me have this guys-
i think its safe to assume i also got on parents' pcs at work. So then it could be windows pinball or minesweeper or any of those card games. Does windows paint count? I thought it was a game.
I happened to also have a mock-up of a laptop that taught you letters and numbers and stuff, let me find it real quick.
Tumblr media
close...? but it was way chunkier and red and teal sorta. ...i mean, this had videogames! although kinda junky, i remember feeling like it was not truly fair. so it counts
or maybe my bro playing final fantasy (or something) on borrowed console on our huge (cube) tv, he was fighting someone and also he said that the yellow ostrich was called chocobo or something
maybe it could be that connect two tiles pokemon game. Speaking of pokemon it could be a rom on pc! Fire Red on bro's laptop! It could be a final fantasy isometric rpg game again (i searched for it several weeks ago and was so disappointed that it was FF again, my bro is a NERD jkjk you got this bro💪🏻✨)
maybe it could be on relatives PC, such as gta san andreas, assassin's creed, alavar games, lego star wars; relatives PSP with loco roco, naruto fighting game, simpsons movie game? with chocolate bunnies, pirates of carribbean; on childhood friend's PSP little big planet; ГРИБНАЯ ЭРА (ITS NY FAVOURITE GAME although it had a unskippable graphics error in one of the minigames, in Nostradamus brain specifically, but other than that it was great!!!!) and some лунтик learning game on PC my dad got from somewhere; lion king learning game? i honestly have the vaguest memories of it, смешарики параллельные миры ALSO MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE on our old pc, Beyond Good and Evil game where the bosses were spoopy :c (also listen to the voice acting in the first 30!!! seconds, holy smokes)
i think I've covered all of the bases here. tbh i still have no idea which one of these could be the first one... ^^"
my bets on mom's phone ones LOL

Hello there everybody! Things are going well with the extensive proofreading going on with the scripts of the game! The painfully long list of Onsen interactions are now [almost] complete! As different mushi become active at different times of year, we're just in the midst of whipping up a new batch of Mushi Repellent to help us stave off any work-eating mushi, but we need some more help.
If you, or someone you know, might have some time to spare to help out with translating or proofreading, please consider getting in touch!
We are currently looking for translators for:
[NDS] Mushishi: Amefuru Sato (Assistant Translator) [NDS] Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch (Assistant Translator) [NDS] Death Note: Successors to L (Lead Translator) [PSP] Nendoroid Generation (Lead Translator)

Thanks for tagging!! @cowplantrelish I love this shit
3 FAVOURITE SHIPS: (Cyberpunk 2077) I have had a long time itch of romancing V and Takemura (tbh don't care if fem or male but never played male, with male V ill prob try kerry because I dislike panam) but mainly if he would decide to abandon his loyalty to Arasaka and become a nomad with V which should have been an option <3 especially could work with corpo V imo. (SIMS) I oddly ship Don Lothario and Bella Goth. Imo, and don't get me wrong Don is sleazy, but I like the theories that state that Bella didn't really love Mortimer that much...it actually states this in sims 2 psp; but I get people who like to see them as hopelessly in love. I feel like Don messes around with everyone but if he could get Bella he wouldn't care about the others as much anymore. They might even have an open relationship as both are romance sims. I have also paired Vidcund and Nina and they work extremely well somehow, both are shy sims. Where Nina doesn't commit due to being quite poly, Vidcund is focused on his science and doesn't care. Aside from that I also find tons of different naruto ships interesting, because it isn't based on romance at all I think an AU with romance could be anything. LAST SONG: Mägo de Oz - El cantar de la luna oscura
youtube
LAST MOVIE: I rewatched fellowship of the ring last night CRAVING: I really want ramen or sushi. CURRENTLY READING: I've started a fic where Kurama is human, it isn't my fav but I love the concept of a human Kurama so I'm making him in the sims so I can imagine him better in my head cause I didnt like fanarts I found. FAVOURITE COLOUR: black in terms of clothes or usual preference but i love all colours (except sims 3 baby poop) RELATIONSHIP STATUS: single for a long time, I don't have interest in romance. Not sure if i'm ace or arom or not (or perhaps demi) cause i've had past partners but they felt forced in a way and lacking in actual connection. I love my platonic relationships. LAST THING I GOOGLED: a broken missing mesh for some kitsune tails for my kurama sim but before that i googled the japanese number system lol. Im trying to learn it on duolingo and i didnt understand why there are so many variations. CURRENT OBSESSION: stardew valley but i think it's fading away cause im a bit stuck with the desert mines and the island. I tried to make my farm look really cool and it well... could be better...I like my house tho, im saving the last room for later.

found out about a naruto game on psp and I fucking can't at these team names
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I LOST it as author and fan i hate them
idk why Team Sharingan is funny but it is but then the funnier part of that is the "Uchiha Clan" bc yes they apparently still count as a clan even with 3 of them still alive
the cursed is also pretty funny to me smile
oh yeah, Akatsuki is also funny becAUSE THERE ARE NINE OF THEM WHY DOES IT COUNT ITACHI AND KISAME AS THE WHOLE DEAL 😭😭😭
should've pulled a mario party where they come up with whacky fun names that have words where one word relates to one character and the other word relates to another. like they did that perfectly with Kakashi and Gai obviously, because they're Eternal Rivals.

AGT Team March - April Progress Report
Real life has hit our progress hard lately, but we remain as committed as ever to getting these translations out for all to enjoy!
[NDS] Mushishi: Amefuru Sato
Tumblr media
Hi! Ithyrial here! I'm one of the translators working on the localization of Mushishi: Amefuru Sato.
For those of you who are not familiar with Mushishi, all you really need to know is that the series focuses on ethereal creatures called "mushi". While mushi are usually harmless, some can be dangerous, and that's where the need for "Mushishi" (or "Mushi Masters" in the English dub of the anime) arises; their job is to study mushi and help people who have been affected by them.
Mushishi: Amefuru Sato (roughly translates to "the village that fell from heaven") follows a young Mushishi apprentice as they go about their everyday life in a small village. Gameplay consists of exploring the village, interacting with other characters, and collecting mushi.
I'm sorry to reveal that there hasn't been much progress since the last update. As of writing, only the introductory sequence and some UI elements have been translated, so there's still a lot of work to be done, but I'm hoping to pick up the pace so we can get this bad boy out as soon as possible! If anyone is interested in helping, please feel free to contact the team!
[NDS] Naruto RPG 2: Chidori Vs Rasengan
Tumblr media
Since our last update, we’ve made several more tweaks to the Naruto RPG2 tool to fix some bugs and improve the performance of the patch. We’re still not quite there on the technical side, but you can see the massive improvement in this screenshot compared to some of our older ones - the text for the alternative team members and summons is now working, and Money/Ryo on the top right is looking a lot better.
We’ve also implemented the ability to edit map tiles as seen on the left. Some of these will be ported from POTN1 & 2, but we’re also working on making new versions for things that weren’t translated/didn’t look great in the original. In short, there’s still a way to go, but we’re getting closer!
[NDS] L - the ProLogue to Death Note: Spiraling Trap
Tumblr media
Proofreading is continuing slow but steady on L - the ProLogue to Death Note. We’ve had a few new proofreaders join the team, and with everyone’s different setups we’ve been able to spot and squash some bugs which were only affecting certain hardware/emulators. There’s only a few known bugs left now, one of which originates from the original game that we’re hoping to get to the bottom of.
Other
Tumblr media
We’ve also been working on plenty more things behind the scenes. Pictured is our new tool interface which we’re in the middle of rolling out to all of our compatible projects. Gone is the pesky command line and confusing setup instructions! In with a streamlined UI that’s compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux! This particular screenshot is from the NendoTranslation tool for Nendoroid Generation on PSP, which is one of several upcoming projects that we’re looking for translators for!
If you’re on PC and viewing this post from its permalink page, you might also have noticed that we’ve added a new way to contact us via the Disqus comment section at the bottom of the page. We hope this’ll make it easier for people who want to get in touch but don’t have a tumblr account, and we’ll also be available on our Discord server as usual.
Lastly, the Soul Eater: Monotone Princess patch has been updated to version 1.1 to improve the compatibility of the patcher and make the instructions clearer. If you’ve had trouble patching it in the past, this should hopefully solve your issue! (The translation itself has not been changed.)
