Hi my name is Kayla and I am still angry that they just brushed over Nate Haywood being hemophiliac and acted like that meant he could do literally nothing because my brother has hemophilia and literally actually pole vaulted for three full years in high school on the varsity track team.

Well hemophilia is worse for some people than others, the fact that he was clocked in the face and knocked over backwards and not rushed to the hospital immediately in the first episode means that it was not as severe for him as it was made out to be once it was brought up as a plot device. Regular factor injections and his risk of being in the field wouldn't have been much more than anyone else's.

On September 16, 2023 at 4:00 pm at The Wilson, please gather to celebrate the marriage of Stephanie Christine Rivers and Jonathan Michael Wagner. The Wedding Party consists of Noah Sinclair as the best man and Aarin Duskin as the maid of honor. Following the groom down the aisle, Noah and Aarin will lead the wedding party. Travis Jackson and Sydney Heywood will accompany them next, followed by Donovan Morgan and Neena Wagner, Nathaniel Clairmont and Isla Ricci, Adem Sahir and Nora Sinclair, and Dean Walker and Penelope Ruiz. They will be followed by flower girls Zoe & Naomi Wagner (accompanied by Summer Cassidy) and ring bearer Logan Wagner. Stevie will be walked down the aisle by her brother, Julian Heywood. Together, they welcome you to celebrate their marriage with a ceremony at 4::00pm followed by a cocktail hour at 4:30pm and reception to follow at 5:00pm. The attire for the wedding is black tie.

Welcome one and welcome all to the wedding of Stevie and Johnny! It is long overdue so this event will start September 14th at 12PM and end on September 22nd 12AM EST. This is a mini-event so participation is not required but strongly encouraged. Anyone that knows of Stevie or Johnny even in the most round about way would be invited to the wedding. Normal threads do not need to be paused during this event. Acceptances and activity checks will still be held as normal.

Outfit aesthetics are encouraged to be posted for guests attending the wedding. The dress code is black tie for the wedding guests. The weather will be sunny with a high of 76 degrees Fahrenheit and lows of 56 degrees Fahrenheit.

‘Whatever you do, don’t touch anything,’ Hermione said, eyes scanning the field beyond the hull of the Waverider. She tugged at the Victorian dress she was wearing, a subconsciously nervous gesture Lyra would recognise anywhere.

‘Why, because I might stop myself ever being born?’ Lyra joked, earning a sharp look from her sister.

‘No,’ she said quickly before shaking her head. ‘I mean, that is possible but more than anything this place is a Petri dish of disease and –’

‘Gideon would find a cure,’ came Nate’s voice.

Lyra watched a little of the tense line of Hermione’s lips soften ever so slightly. Concern still pinched her brow, her shoulders were still a little bunched, but as usual Nathaniel Heywood’s mere presence was like a calming drug for Hermione.

‘Still, not really an experience you want,’ Hermione reasoned. ‘None of the illnesses are exactly nice.’

‘Are any?’ questioned Lyra, but she was already slowly excusing herself from the situation, knowing it best to leave Nate calming Hermione’s concerns alone. She’d never been good with the type of emotional outpouring the two of them seemed to need, and she didn’t really want to be there to bear witness to another example of it.

‘You could stay here,’ Nate said as Lyra ducked outside, glad that Jax and Mick were already there, ready for their next adventure. She just hoped they might be able to get a move on before Hermione decided she needed to be quarantined just to be safe.

Can I just say that I LOVE Nathaniel Heywood ?

Seriously, his captain was in full "I have a duty to sacrifice myself, please tell my wife I love her" mode like every good super hero has been at least once in their life and the guy just went "No, you know what ? That's stupid. And you know what's even more stupid ? The robo-psycopath killer we just convinced to commit suicide. Watch this" and he proceeded to make the robo-psycopath killer take up the heavy duty of protecting the timeline by telling him "You're too much of a loser to do it".

And it fucking worked.

Correction : I love Nathaniel Heywood, and I love Legends of Tomorrow as a whole because I don't know any other show where you can see something like this and laugh this much at it.

Kind of funny that Nate appeared a season after the one where Vandal was the main villain since he played a crucial role in Nate’s origin story in the comics. 

It makes me want an episode/storyline where the Legends meet a group of heroes from another universe where Nate’s doubleganger, Nathan, has his original counter partner’s background story (or at least a similiar one).

I would also love to see an alternative versions of Ray and Carter Hall/Hawkman being best friends like in the comics, since they didn’t really interact much on the show, and ended up in a love triangle.
