Your partner watches you with a soft gaze, the golden skies in his stare, glinting knowingly, your indication to go on.

“When the term ‘misty’ is used in this song, I think it means far away from reality, alienated, in a way, seeing the world through a screen of fog.” You highlight the exact lyrics on your laptop. “Then, when she goes ‘can’t you see that you’re leading me on? And it’s just what I want you to do’, she’s singing that to someone close to her, a lover, maybe. The person who can keep her grounded, maybe bringing some hope to mundanity.”

You flip through a couple of pages in your notebook, showing Minami a space where you have scribbled something in colored pens. He doesn’t miss the little doodles on the edges of the pages, he would love to see your drawings more often.

“The singer speaks of being lost, and how she follows that someone. Otherwise she would ‘wander through this wonderland alone’.” You tap your pen on the page. “‘Wonderland’ here means real life, I’m guessing, which to her is an unknown place, but she has that someone to hold onto.” You raise your head, searching for your boyfriend’s gaze, already on you.

“I think you’re amazing.” The way he says it with a straight face makes your heart skip a few beats, the warmth of his honeyed stare, rising to your cheeks.

He stutters a bit, but for the most part he does well and your parents can tell he’s a good boy

Toma can be friendly when he wants to, and is able to give the impression he’s a nice guy

He even makes your family laugh a few times

Hi there. Just found your account and I'm reading everything. I just had the idea as I was scrolling through ZOOL's discography and saw Poisonous Gangster. When ZOOL came out with their first MV, I thought for a while that maybe one of their members was actually a gangster or an ex-gangster with how cool and dangerous they looked. I was totally wrong about the whole gangster thing. So could I request an ex-gangster reader and their reactions to it?

All of ZOOL nearly shriek when you come into the studio telling them you were late because you got into quite a spat with a person you used to be in a gang with. Luckily you were the better fighter, so you got out fine--it was the other guy that got hurt.

After that, you had to pretty much come clean about your past, but are quick to assure them you can handle whatever they throw your way for abandoning the group.

"Wait--is THAT why you say no matter what we put out, Poisonous Gangster will always be your favorite song from us?" Haruka's eyebrow twitches.

"Pretty much, yea. Its also a good song though." You casually state, lounging on their dressing room couch.

Toma turns to you, being pretty much the only one to note how calm you actually are over all of this.

He rubs the back of his neck. "Well, if anybody's givin' ya trouble again, just let us know. Can't have you fighting a bunch of goons around every corner by yourself, you might get hurt." He tried to sound neutral, but still came off as caring.

"Oh, its alright I've got it." You shrug casually. "Nothing I'm not used to."

The entire group pauses to stare at you.

but if you do it in public he’ll scold you a little, he has to keep up his idol appearance, no hard feelings

He likes to hug in private, so your sudden bouts of hugging could be great or detrimental in his eyes depending on the time and location

Though its hard to say no to you if you tell him ‘you missed his warmth’

He’ll scoff “did you come straight out of a drama or something?”

Tenn kind of sucks at reciprocating affection in an emotional way but he gets better as the relationship goes on

Minami Natsume

Minami always just gives you a soft smile when you give him surprise hugs

He laughs when you say you just wanted to hug him for no reason. “You’re getting rather spoiled, aren’t you?”

He’s kinda an inbetween where he’ll let you hug him for a certain amount of time in public before slowly brushing your hands away so it doesn’t look suspicious (he’ll still hold your hand though)
