Update

I realised I haven't been on tumblr since after GCSEs 😅 but I’m currently in my top uni choice which is the UNIVERSITY OF EDINBURGH!!! it’s been so surreal and I’m gonna start posting again so hopefully I can get on with it as soon as I start having more content to work on

Finding stuff

Let's assume your room is organized and there is a clean space to work (in other words your clothes and other equipment are no longer on your desk). The next step is to make sure that everything you need to study has a place. History notes and books are together, science ditto and the same for every subject. If your notes and books are not organized it is a bit like trying to remember your telephone number while thinking about the last sports match you watched - not going to happen. Different color files for different subjects, a notebook for study notes for each subject and an organized space for all of this so you can find it easily. Not everyone can spend the money on a whole lot of different equipment or they find it difficult to work with pen and paper for each subject so perhaps you need to organize computer folders on your computer or plenty of loose pages for writing notes that can be kept together with your textbooks and school files. Whichever suits you best, get it done. When there is a place for everything and everything in its place it is so much easier to focus on the subject matter rather than breaking off all the time to look for the information that could be anywhere between the school file, folded in the school bag or lost under the bed.

Hey guys! I haven’t been active for the past a couple of months because I was too busy with school. Now that it’s easter break, I finally have time to sort my shit out and to update my studyblr. So far, I have resources that I have made for myself and I had this thought of sharing it with you guys I mean we’re a community for a reason I’ve got some materials from school and from what I have done in my own time. 

Quizlet 

I use quizlet for all my sciences (I’m doing triple award btw) and since I have quizlet on my phone, I can just easily recap some stuff whenever I have free time so it’s really convenient. 

Biology - these are just some important keywords that I have compiled since year 9 till year 11. My biology teacher has also kindly shared his quilts with me as well and I have compiled them in a folder

Chemistry - compilation of some key terms and key ideas that I often missed. Some are group works and some are shared by my chemistry teacher so I just added it to the folder

Physics - there are significantly less in the physics folder because i make more physical notes for it plus my teacher makes us do them in class so there’s no point in repeating it again. 

side note: there might be spelling or grammar mistakes that i missed out so apologies for that ahaha

Specification based notes

Only had time to make this for chemistry :(. I have uploaded all of them on a google drive folder. Docs in this folder are made by me and my classmates and have been ‘peer assessed’ to check for any missing bits to it. It still might not be complete but it would be a good revision sheet if you’re up for a quick skim through points in the spec.

Misc.

Clearly I have other subjects but I make revision resources for these in particular. I make different style revision materials for other subjects. Just to mention, I take English Language and Literature, Maths, Triple Award Sciences, Computer Science, Geography and Art. For Computer Science and Geography I have my binders where I have hand written notes in my binders. I really don't mind sharing them if any of you want them as I have digital copies of it. Just drop me a message and I will email them to you personally :)
