OHMYGOD HI I NEED TO READ YOUR TAKE ON TEACHER ROSS AND READER AT A SCHOOL DANCE OR PROM. him being in awe of her in a dress, maybe they dance with the kids. i have this image of all the students leaving and its just them in the venue, maybe the DJ plays them one last song?

(a/n: I don’t know how bold you all think teacher!ross would be, but this is what I feel like would happen, and idk whether this is appropriate for the workplace, but this is a fic after all lol.)

I love this I love this I love this.

It’s prom!! And everyone’s so excited and dressed up!! It’s July, it’s really warm and it’s about 7pm and all the kids have got their beautiful dresses and suits on, and it’s just so lovely to see all of them all grown up and having a lovely time!! Obviously all of the teachers are invited, and you immediately knew what dress to wear when you first heard about it. I feel like it would maybe be navy, silky material, long and slinky, little cap sleeve with a v-neck (not too low, professional as ever).

When Ross sees you in it, his jaw drops. He has to take himself to the bar to get a beer, something, anything, because you are truly the most gorgeous person he’s ever seen. He’s wearing a suit (I’m thinking he looks like Brit Awards 2023) and he looks gorgeous himself, obviously. You feel exactly the same when you see him, tucking your loosely curled hair behind your ears as a method of distraction from your pounding heart as he approaches you. You say hello to each other and it’s a bit flirty and giggly because this is the first time you’ve ever seen each other properly dressed up.

The whole night, he can’t stop looking at you. You’re sat with a glass of champagne, maybe looking round the room and listening to everyone and just being present, and some other colleague is chewing his ear off about some new procedure they’re introducing at work. He finds his gaze drifting to you, swallowing heavily as his eyes inevitably rake up your figure and your hair and your lips, your legs crossed at the ankle and the tan skin of them exposed by the slit in your dress. Your eyes travel around the room and eventually fall on him, his gaze already fixed on you, and I feel like a wave of comfort and relief comes over both of you as you see each other. He raises his eyebrows at you and subtly, playfully rolls his eyes at the man essentially shouting in his ear, making you giggle into your champagne. You watch as he excuses himself and comes to sit with you instead, sat next to you at an angle so he’s facing you, asking you what you’re drinking and making small talk, a layer of tension hidden somewhere in every word that leaves your mouths.

The kids interrupt you and are like ‘stop flirting!! coke and dance!!’. I think it’s something like Don’t Stop Believing, and you sing and dance and laugh at the way the kids belt out every lyric, as do you and Ross, and it’s just so lovely.

Like you said yourself, it’s definitely just the two of them left after slightly tipsy, tired students have been ushered into parents’ cars and taxis. You’re trying to tidy the tables a bit, gathering random paper plates and mess that had been left, heels clicking on the floor. The DJ is still there, having been booked until 12, and he’s playing slower, more chill music as you tidy. When Ross walks in, he’s got quite a pace, looking left and right. He looks so tall and broad in his suit, hair still neatly pulled back, relaxing a little when he saw you - ‘I thought you’d left already’. You shake your head no, butterflies in your stomach as he makes his way to you. You kind of stand in silence together for a few seconds before he looks at the DJ, still playing music (a/n: I have the Bridget Jones soundtrack on my record player rn and Me And Mrs Jones is playing, and I feel like they’d dance to this. That’s the vibe.). He knows it’s now or never, because when is he going to get the chance to slow dance in an empty function room with his crush, who he truly believes could very well be the love of his life. He holds his hand out to you, cocking his head to the dance floor - ‘do you want to? last song of the night?’ You nod and take his hand gently, letting him lead you to the middle. You hold each other gently and it’s the first time you’ve ever really been this close, one hand on your waist and holding yours in his other. Swaying side to side slowly, you meet his eyes and they’re so big and dark and soft, and I think this is when you realise you’re in love. I think he knew it already, but from this point forward, it’s like it’s you or no one for him.

You stand on your tiptoes and press a kiss to his cheek, your lips warm on his skin. Before you can fully pull away, he turns his head to you slightly, so your lips are centimetres apart, not even inches, and it doesn’t take long for him to close the minuscule gap. Your lips just fit together so seamlessly and perfectly and it’s heavenly, the song in the background and his hold on you and your long-awaited, much-anticipated first kiss. When he pulls away, you’re both basking in a glow of sorts, and I think when the song ends, he drives you home and kisses you goodnight at your doorstep, waiting for you until you get in the house. You both wake up the next morning in your respective beds, beaming, Ross reaching for his phone and there being a text from you already.

Pictured below is Bärchen Und Die Milchbubis! They are a band from Hannover, Germany, they released one album and two singles between 1980 and 1982, and now, in 2024, they are touring again! But that's not why I played them in the show, I played them because they are one of the bands that are featured in the fantastic Inner World 033 podcast, by the World Of Echo label, and compiled by the Famous Mammals. It's a three hour long feast of great great music, and I wanted to direct my listeners to this podcast, go listen and enjoy. Also, this episode of De Algemene Verwarring is a digital one, so as always I'm playing some tracks that I don't own on a physical lp or cd. The Festa is the celebration of BTS’ debut on 13 June 2013. It takes place in the first half of June, with something being released almost every day. There are usually dance practices, songs, photo albums, and members’ profiles.

Here's the official page and the timeline for the 2023 Festa:

As usual, the poster features a lot of nods to the group. You can find the number 7 in a lot of places: the sum of the points on each dice (4+2+1), the pile of pink cards, the number of gifts on the board, the number of gifts outside the board, and the number of poles. There are two pawns with an ARMY logo and one with a BTS logo. This last one is on the June 13 case, namely the group's birthday. And purple is the dominant color.

"Take Two" and BTS PRESENTS EVERYWHERE announcements

BTS PRESENTS EVERYWHERE is a massive collaboration between Hybe and several brands to provide ARMY with BTS-themed merch and billboards. You can find more information in the notices about the Partner Event Guide and the Seoul landmarks. It notably included a JEJU Air airplane decorated with BTS pictures.

BTS '아포방포10' Project

Just like fans used to do for the members' birthdays, BTS rented billboards in several places to celebrate the love between them and ARMY, notably using the classic 아포방포 abbreviation (ApPoBangPo/AFoBangFo for Army Forever Bangtan Forever). titan returns with the stealer on october 3. to promote the song, they’ll film a studio choom be original video, a 1thek suit dance video, and a gap crush video in addition to their month of music show promotions.

titan will shoot for their 2023 season’s greetings package [2] in october.

on october 26, titan will perform a mini-concert at the base culture complex for its opening concert series.

titan will hold a special one-night only concert in seoul on october 29 called the re:al open to fanclub members only. the set list will consist of solely of the songs from their two mini-album releases this year plus “rpm”, “now or never”, “obsession, “bad”, and “love shot”. 

after finishing promotions for the stealer, the titan members will film a show called ‘stealer house’ [2], which will be a parody of popular dating program heart signal and the concept of the show will be for the members to discover the the two secret stealers (the leader and the main rapper) among them by playing games and using their ‘tricks’. filming will only take a day since there will only be two episodes. the episodes will be released in late november for fans as a close to the stealer era.

titan will be very busy with performances at the end of the year. they will perform at the fact music awards, mama awards, asia artist awards, kbs gayo daechukje, sbs gayo daejeon, and mbc gayo daejejeon.

most of lily’s tenth anniversary activities are over now as the year comes to an end, but they still have quite a lot on their plates to prepare for the next chapter of their activities.

in early october, the members have yet another campaign shoot [2] in their role as ambassadors for casio baby g. on december 3, they will attend a new store opening for casio in itaewon and on december 4, they will hold a fan sign there.

around the same time in early october, the lily members will be called to a meeting to go over the details of their next comeback, which they’ll already be making in january with a new mini-album. album recordings, choreography practice, album visual shooting, fittings, and music video filming will all take place in the fourth quarter. most of the preparation will need to be completed by early december so that the music video for the title track can be filmed in the second week of december.

on november 5, lily will perform a mini-concert at the base culture complex for its opening concert series.

lily will also hold a concert ahead of their new era and to usher in the new year on december 31 and january first. the set list will consist of the first stages of their next title song, plus these songs as well as “i feel you”, “candle”, “rewind”, “catch me if you can”, and “mr. mr.”. each member will also perform a solo stage. they may choose a cover or they may perform an original song they’ve released (such as a single or an ost). (admin note: muses may use the following stages if they wish, but they may do a different stage if the mun wishes as well, as long as it does not exceed a similar production value: leader/main vocal, lead vocal/lead dancer/rapper [or 2], main rapper/main dancer/vocal, maknae/lead vocal/rapper [or 2]).

the day after they finish stereotype promotions, candy is gathered for a meeting. bc staff has been monitoring fan communities and although their crowned original song so bad didn’t perform well on the charts, it was received with enthusiasm among fans. as such, bc has arranged for candy to release a special, limited release physical single album of so bad and a new b-side, like this, in november. it won’t be an official comeback, but candy will appear on music shows for a week from november 11 to november 17 to perform both songs.

in early october, candy will shoot pictorials for elle korea and cosmopolitan korea’s november issues.

on their fourth anniversary on october 23, candy will hold their annual anniversary fanmeeting. their fourth year anniversary also means that members are allowed to begin to move out of their group dorm.

when they release their special limited single album for so bad in november, they will film a 1thek suit dance video for so bad as well to further get fans used to a maturing image of candy. an it’s live performance of stereotype, an unplugged version of so bad, like this, and i’ll be there, and a waiting room live video of so bad will serve to counter lipsycning criticism. the marketing plan is quite successful and candy earns several trending moments on social media and in fan communities during this short period.

on november 12, candy will perform a mini-concert at the base culture complex for its opening concert series.

in late november and december, candy will give performances at the melon music awards, asia artist awards, kbs gayo daechukje, and sbs drama awards.

on october 15 and 16, polaris will hold their map of the soul tour encore concerts in seoul. these will serve as the official end to the tour and the members will get a short time time off from the constant performances until end of the year shows kick them into full gear again.

their hot 100 #1 has put them in the news more than ever and this means staff is talking a lot, too. there’s meetings and discussions about going even bigger for their next world tour and what their next comeback should be and even hopes for a grammy nomination for dynamite, but it’s a lot of meetings over anything else for the polaris members, as most of the organization for these things is out of their hands.

in early october, polaris will shoot their 2023 season’s greetings.

in the downtime between their last comeback and their slated next release next year, dimensions hopes to keep the buzz going by releasing a lot of content showing the members’ personalities onto youtube. throughout the fourth quarter, the members will be encouraged to film vlogs and a cover for upload onto youtube.

in early october, quantumphase will shoot their 2023 season’s greetings.

in late november, they’ll film a new reality show that will be released beginning early next year called fever road. they’ll travel by bus to a mansion outside of seoul. they’ll have to complete missions during their stay in the mansion to escape and solve the mystery.

after they return from their short trip to film the reality show, the members of quantumphase will meet for the final details on their next mini-album. in december, studio recording for the songs will take place.

october will primarily be a break for the members of arcadia. they’re encouraged to use this time to relax, if need, or pursue individual activities if they prefer, though they will have to shoot for their seasons greetings during the month. by the end of october, they’ll be back to rehearsing for their base culture complex the opening mini-concert on november 5.

after that, most of the end of the year continues to be rehearsals. they’ll be holding a concert in february, as they’re informed at the beginning of october. the set list will consist of many of the group songs they’ve released so far, but will not include any of their pre-debut solo songs. they’ll also prepare a new song for the concert, which is likely to be a b-side on their next comeback (which they are told won’t be until the second quarter of next year).

as the end of the year approaches, arcadia has been invited to perform at mama awards, asia artist awards, and kbs gayo daechukje.

on november 5, selene will perform a mini-concert at the base culture complex for its opening concert series.

on december 12, selene will film an appearance on immortal songs to air on december 17. they win the episode, making for their third win as a group on the show, the most by any idol group.

on the day of their first comeback stage, november 29, the members will hold a mini-fanmeeting outside of the sbs studio. during this time, they’ll answer pre-approved fan submitted questions on post-it notes off of a board provided by staff.

on december 10, they’ll perform at an adidas event in seoul along with fellow adidas ambassadors cloud and ultraviolet. they’ll perform “a lie”, as well as “sentimental” and and “immature” off of their mini-album release earlier in the year.

platinum are slated to embark on another tour next year with stops in seoul, the u.s., and japan, so they will begin to rehearse songs for that this quarter as well. the setlist is not yet set in stone, but they will mainly be rehearsing their title tracks from over the years and recent b-sides.

with both queendom promotions and crowned festivities over, the final quarter of the year is relaxed for equinox. gold star has ultimately decided it more beneficial to ensure equinox avoids overexposure and ride the attention from winning crowned for as long as they can instead of immediately banking on it by accepting all of the love calls equinox has received in the wake of their win.

two of their prizes for winning crowned were a special fanmeeting for crowned voters and a special exhibition at the base culture complex. equinox will hold their fanmeeting on october 30 with a halloween theme. all of the members will wear a costume to the fanmeeting and fans are encouraged to as well. they’ll answer questions, especially about crowned, play games, and give performances of “dazzle dazzle” and “queendom”.

once the base culture complex opens at the beginning of the month, their special exhibition will already be on display in the museum portion of the complex. this special exhibit will recount their journey from predebut to winning crowned and will include some of their most memorable stage outfits throughout the years, recreated music video sets, and never-before-seen behind the scenes footage, dance practices, and predebut footage. on october 14, the members will attend the exhibition after the complex (before its grand opening to the public) and film their visit. they’ll be expected to reminisce about memories the exhibition brings up. the video will be uploaded online as promotion for the special exhibition.

on october 15, they’ll hold a fansign outside of lotte world in their capacity as olens ambassadors.

-kill this love -jp ver.- is slated for release on october 12, but a few days before its release, it will be delayed two weeks to the end of the month, october 26, without any further explanation. in the days following the album’s release, the ultraviolet members will be in japan to film appearances on tv asahi’s music station and fuji tv’s love music. they’ll return to korea on october 30.

on november 5, ultraviolet will perform at a private event at paradise city hotel & resort in incheon for the hotel’s vip guestlist.

ultraviolet won’t make many public appearances as a group in november as they prepare to return to tour after several months on december 7 with a concert at tokyo dome. for this concert, they’ll switch out several of the korean songs on their setlist for the japanese versions and prepare new cover stages.

HERE ARE THE RESULTS FOR THE 2022 F1 PREDICTIONS. LIGHTS OUT & AWAY WE GO.

Teams: Triumphs & Fails: Lets start with the positives; Merc, Ferrari, RB & Mclaren all win at least one race & all teams will score points. McLaren to achieve another 1-2. Some conjecture about the WCC - with the title fight between Mercedes, Ferrari, RB & Mclaren. Unfortunately for Alpine they’re predicted to have a underwhelming year. Some suggest last in the constructors, with record number of DNFs (all Alonso’s car) rip el plan. Alpha Tauri will be in the fight for ‘best of the rest’, & Williams will find form & out-perform Alpine, AR, & AM (P6 in the constructors anyone?). The fall of Red Bull is predicted - with a DNF Monaco to rub salt in the wound. Haas are predicted to be bought out mid-season- though someone did predict that if they were to get rid of eggman (done) they will get double digit points, resulting in a morale boost & the new driver (k-mag) will catapult them to unforeseen heights. Haas Reputation Era confirmed?

Podiums & Wins: Let’s start off strong with the prediction that Lewis will get at least his 108th win this season. George, Lando, Carlos will get their first wins. Seb will win in Singapore. Another Estebestie win. Lando to win at least 3 races, with 3 Brits appearing on the podium at least once. Speaking of podiums, this season will see a win for diversity with Lewis, Yuki & Guanyu appearing together on the podium. The return of the HAM VER BOT podium. A prediction for Daniel to go back to back at Monza thus breaking the monza returning winners curse - also more than one win is on the cards for Daniel this season. Some podium predictions for Yuki, Mick, Lance & Pierre. Lastly, Antonio will sub in for Carlos in one of the Italian races and make it onto the podium; which will be just as good as a win.

Driver Predictions: We already have one prediction that has come to fruition. No Mazepin. Should we call it a day? Lewis winning his 8th title in Brazil & Daniel becoming world champion were both submitted in capital letters. Oscar Piastri will race (the prediction of 2 drivers testing positive to covid was also predicted coincidentally). Predictions were pretty brutal for drivers this year - Charles will not finish his home race due to last lap damage. George doesn’t get a win - some think he might become washed and people will see Valtteri in a different light. Max has a flop season. Mick won’t have a contract for 2023 because Haas won’t be in F1 (ouch). Lewis will complain about the safety car going too slowly. Daniel to finish above Lando this season in points & qualifying sessions. George will be asked to give his place to Lewis and he’ll say no. Because that was all quite dramatic let’s finish with the prediction of Seb being unhinged & with Mick all the time.

Track Walk: F1 is a walking red flag, so let’s start there; the predictions are that there will be between 5-7 red flags this season, most of them in the Saudi Arabia GP - the vibe for this GP is chaotic with many predicting incidents & safety cars (prayer circle for a safe race pls). We have the prediction of multiple wet races. DNFs in Monaco (someone made the bold prediction of 10 dnfs in one race). One race will finish under a safety car and all hell will break loose. This brings us to our next part involving the FIA.

That Was Legal!?: Let’s start with safety cars. A race that doesn't need to finish under SC finishes under SC anyway just so the FIA can get good media about "learning from their mistakes". The new race directors are going to make questionable decisions, again. There will be at least three (3) bullshit penalties awarded. FIA will continue clowning and fuck up massively again sometime this season, causing ww3 on f1twt. FIA and RB Drama - FIA retract Verstappen’s 2021 win leading Christian Horner to have a public meltdown.

2022 Cars: Unsurprisingly people are a little unsure about the new cars this season - strong predictions that the new ground-effect cars will fail in the first couple races, causing problems for basically everybody & a revamp will be required. RB are going to try and pull some shithousery over the Merc side-pods. One car is illegal. Pirelli tyre dramas & the Netflix Curse will strike again.

Drama: Beginning with the team bosses; Christian will say stupid things in interviews. Toto destroys something again, & has to replace headphones 12 times. No Toto-Horner drama, Otmar vs Binotto instead. Onto the drivers - Ferrari fighting, Charles & Carlos drama after they’re consistently fighting for wins (bonus points for a monza altercation). McLaren will struggle with battles between the two drivers (Lando physically fights Daniel). Messy Merc v RB.

Last Dance: Driver changes as follows; Alonso re-retires, Seb’s final season, Pierre signs with a different team. Lewis winning his 8th championship and retiring.

BOLD: If you made it this far let me give you a big smooch right now! Here are the boldest predictions for the 2022 season. It turns out the reason Ferrari were so good is because it was illegal. Alonso gets covid just before the triple header so Oscar get 3 f1 races in and immediately is better than him. George tries hitting Lewis over the head like Valtteri (it doesn't go well.) Gasly burns down RB headquarters. Yuki steals Gasly's house meanwhile. A fan sneaks into an F1 car before a race. Ferrari podium every single race. Seb WDC. There is a wet race in Abu Dhabi and the final race is completed by only six drivers which are actually backmarkers -Mick Schumacher wins. Horsey Albon, Roscoe Hamilton, and Angie Schumacher all meet. Nico R finally gets Lewis for his podcast. RedBull is going to start a Youtube conspiracy video channel. Mick Schumacher F1 2022 Champion. Charles Leclerc wins the world championship in the last race by taking out the driver who he is level on points with.

Leaving you with these three final predictions we can all agree on: Whomst knoweth. Cars go fast. We will have to watch another season of this clown car racing 🤡.

Magia Record is a relatively popular game, with its own game, anime, multiple manga, a stage play, lots of other promotional artwork, and fanart. The series being a spinoff of a relatively old series doesn't help when managing this world, and what was done by Magica Quartet and what was created by simple fans of the series may be hard at times. To clear this up, I have decided to compile a list of useful image resources for the series. This list may be updated with more links in the future.

Event intros also often contain transparent memoria art and card art. All doppel-related images are already-transparent in-game, but may not be usable due to being in parts to be animated.

For making your own transparents, go for /memoria/ and /effect/story/. Story CGs are stored elsewhere.

Live2D and animated battle sprites are not usable by default, so to use them, you’ll need to go to:

Exporting an APK is simple - just change the file’s extension from .apk to .zip (which is not the same as simply compressing files. If you don't know how to change a file's extension please look it up.), and treat it like any other file. You’ll get a folder with all the files.

The Japanese websites are not particularly friendly for Google Translate, as most of their text seems to be stored in images. Also, those images tend to require using dev tools (F12) to get to. The process is not particularly complicated, but may be impossible on mobile.

Official accounts that are directly connected to PMMM and its spinoffs include:

A lot of official artists also posts their work on the Twitter, but keep in mind that some of them also post doujinshi. For example Boyano, a popular Magia Record artist, has made an entry in the comic anthology, however, all of their work outside of that is unofficial. In general, only use twitter/pixiv art of a character if it was drawn by its creator (GAN and Masugitsune are known for posting a lot of art of their characters. Be aware that their accounts may border on NSFW at times).

Thanks to u/error010255 on Reddit for linking me image files from The Battle Cats. The .zip file contains both Madoka Magica crossover files AND other files. There also is not a lot of order to all of this, so you will probably need to check multiple folders to find everything. The sprites are animate-able, but I have not found the animation data anywhere.
