To me, Nehemia is grace and ferocity entwined. She is slender, tall, and slim. Like the goddesses of Athena & Artemis united. Nehemia has such purpose within this story that I think I’ve captured how everyone envisions her.

I didnt know Chaol was white at first but dint get me wrong. I imagine him like the frog prince animated by Disney, sweet strong headed with strong opinion and loyal, fun. Really, and then we have Nehemia. AND I SHIPPED THEM TOGETHER. I was like what? 15 when i read him and have a huge crush on Chaol. Then all the fanart potray him as white i was confuse. Maybe I dont read the book properly as I skim the book quickly

Like imma stick with my prince frog chaol. I dont mean here as anything weird or streotype but I realy thought chaol give a huge vibe of the prince frog. "I am prince naveen of macedonia and she is a waitress" argghhhhh. Except chaol seem hesitant to tell people his father a duke abd he is the next heir.

Oh? That's really interesting anon.

Recently I saw someone use Rome Flynn as a Naveen fancast and that suits Chaol, I think.

Chaol and Nehemia sounds so cute. I can see them practicing together. They have a solid vibe actually.

Not All PoC are the Same™

I have a bone to pick with fanartists/fancasters. Now that SJM has actually started including PoC, can we please not draw them all as ambiguous PoC? Like I’ve seen more PoC illyrians yes, but most of the time they’re just Dark White™ (white features with darker skin). I love morgana0gram’s art but Sartaq would be Mongolian, so very different from what she drew. I see people trying to cast people like Zendaya for every single ambiguous/WOC role (yrene, nesryn, nehemia, emerie, Cressida, literally anyone with a hint of melanin). And like I’m just so frustrated. Poc doesn’t mean half white, and these people are of distinct races. Yrene is ambiguous, nesryn is from Central/South Asia, nehemia and Cressida are full Black, Emerie is of an unspecified human race. I love zendaya but she would be able to play maybe yrene ONLY. You can’t just pull up like, a Latine and go ‘ah yes, Sartaq’ because that’s NOT HOW HE WAS WRITTEN.

I will say that in my fancasts I always age the characters up a bit because I think the story still works -if not better- if you have 20s to mid 30s.

Throne of Glass Fancast:

Aelin Ashryver Galathanius: by the life of me, truly 👏🏼by👏🏼 the👏🏼 life👏🏼 of👏🏼 me👏🏼, I cannot believe that Anna Sophia Robb is not the most popular fancast choice for Aelin. She is Aelin to a T. The beautiful features that are stunning but it’s more about the confidence, the blue-green eyes, the blond hair, the angular face! Anna Sophia Robb ALWAYS

Dorian Havilliard: Listen I know he’s supposed to be tanner in the books, but but but if you say someone has striking blue eyes it’s gotta be Logan Lerman. No contest. He can do the sass and the playboy, he can do the soft, he can do the tired prince, the possessed one, the guilty one, the one filled with regret. Or if he’s not available Daniel Sharman.

Chaol Westfall: I know Chaol has brown eyes, but here is nothing a good pair of contacts can solve. Liam Hemsworth. He has the ruggedness yet handsome features. 

Nehemia Ytger: Again... how have people not casted Yara Shahidi is beyond me. 

Rowan Whitethorn: this one is tricky for me... for the longest time I could not place him and when rereading it this time my mind for some reason went with Garret Hedlund. Yes I know he is my Tamlin, but #Versatility. I just think he has the physicality of the character... but but but it’s not set in stone because he’s white. NO HENRY CAVILL FANCAST HERE I NEED SOMEONE WHO CAN ACT.

Manon Blackbeak: I warned I would cast myself here too.. and I’ve always been Manon in my head. Give me a wig and we’re good to go. And before you go, how can you be Feyre and Manon, I’ll just say #Versatility. I’ll give you “death and cold hearted” like no other (My group of friends can testify to that... specially if you saw me around 2016-2017 when I went to parties) and I can also give you the “what is happening to me...? am..? I...? feeling...?

(how i found your blog game)im p sure that i found you through immy lol. i made my tog blog around jan/feb 2019 but im not sure when i started following y’all- it’s totally possible that i lurked before actually following hehe but i think your posts just made me laugh a lot and were honestly so refreshing. most of the tog content then was like rowan/dorian thirst posting and so boring and most of the ppl who talked about the problems in tog were antis so it was a hard line to straddle lmao
