Oh, I can force Tumblr to look at my OC, I just remembered! Yay! I want to force people to look at my OC right now!

This is Amyra the Dreamweaver Dragon! (OC for the Spyro Reignited Series) She shepherds Dreamy Sheep, who are shorn to make special wool that THEN is made into special pajamas. Helps those who wear it sleep even better at night.

She is in a OC x Canon ship with Nestor the Artisan Dragon because he's very attractive and they would look very attractive together. But... I only ever drew them together once. Whoops. :) Lol. :)

I-- We don't know much about Looker's past and we can't infer a lot. But we know that the world has treated him harshly.

I wonder if even before his amnesia, in his teenager years, in his childhood, that the world was unkind to him as well. Maybe he had to try and toughen up, fight for scraps, maybe he had to survive in a way that was rough on someone with a very sensitive heart.

I like to think he turned the malice against him into wanting to be the kindest man to anyone. To be caring, doting, and loving because he can try and make sure others don't have to go through what he's been through.

Amnesia... Feeling alone... The loss of a Pokemon... Having no warm shelter and nothing to eat... I always felt like Emma's upbringing hit a memory long forgotten by Looker himself.

I caught up to June, yay! This challenge is actually really good for me because of art block funk and because I never actually drew these dragons! Super fun. :)

Also tried some playing around with character design stuff. My influences seem pretty obvious

Year Of The Dragon Elders

January - Nestor

Did you know that this Year of the Dragon, according to the calender, is the the year of the Wood Dragon? Then it is only fitting to have Nestor to start off this challenge!

I can't help but wonder, but what caused Nestor and Lateef to split up in your AU? How well did little Spyro take it, since he decided to stick with Nestor in the end?

Does Spyro ever occasionally go visit his other dad from time to time?

Honestly; They didn't work out !

Not every relationship dissolves through bad blood, sometimes it's just natural! They kept on good terms and co-parented well although Nestor was more hands-on than Lateef, Lateef was that second safe space for when things got difficult between Spyro and Nestor (They're both stubborn (Spyro more so), some say he never got it from Malefor, he gets it from Nestor).

For how Spyro handled it? Not very well. Like every small child was he was confused and angry, it was the first something had TRULY gone wrong for him; in his short little life at that point, he had never been given into trouble, never truly been injured or never felt sadness or anger to this extent. It was a new and confusing experience, and it was the first sign of his true destructive nature. Some dragons found it concerning considering his family, others brushed it off as what it was- a Kid acting out. It took time to get used to, but that also doesn't stop him from still harbouring some form of disdain for his parents new partners, or possible partners. After this he became a little more protective over what he deemed as 'His'. His family had fallen apart and in his young mind he believed he should've protected it.

Spyro spent a lot of time at the Dreamweavers, this is why he's very involved in both Dreamweaver and Artisan religion. I originally would've said weekends but i'm still working out the religion aspect, as Artisans and Dreamweavers have services on the same day, just at different times.

I like to think it's also why Spyro has a little lazy streak to him; while it seems the Artisans do like to Laze about, I find its' more in tune with the relaxed nature of Art or Art as a form of Therapy, rather than in the Sleepy Dreamweaver sense.

Spyro might not be as close to Lateef as he once was, but he still has a deep love of the Dreamweavers and how they raised him in his youngest years.

2/75. Posting this here too. I finally completed it, I have a lot of drawings to finish 😭 I should start writing ideas on a piece of paper or something. I'm both working on the next dude and Steb. There are a few work in progresses on my ko-fi page but I'm pretty sure I'll make some changes on the drawing hehe.

Nestor is most definitely one of my top favorite Reignited Dragons. Possibly #1… right up there with Lucas. Enjoy this sketch!

So...summer, huh? Like Summer Forest?

WAIT, PUT DOWN YOUR PITCHFORKS! LET ME EXPLAIN WHERE I'VE BEEN!

So, it's been pretty rough with some things happening (mostly school and that hard reset with my Mac, which killed off my motivation for drawing for ACTUAL months). This summer, I wanted to be productive with other things (reading, website coding, learning music theory, etc.) so I never picked up my stylus...until now.

I found out about this Spyro challenge where you're supposed to draw an Elder for each month, and I wanted to join! I'm unsure if I'll do it every month, but I plan on doing headshots for each Elder so I should be fine. No cartoony style for them, sorry.

So here's January and February's Elders: Nestor and Useni!
