A few little sketches of some possible school uniforms for mage schools/learning centers for magic/etc. :0c Though because Nanyevimi is so scattered and disconnected, it'd actually vary much more by region (like not everywhere would have a cultural concept of what a suit jacket or neck tie looks like lol), so it's probably unrealistic for so many of them to follow too many traditional Uniform Conventions from cultures in our world, etc. But, still, fun to mess around with designs, and think about which would be most fun to wear/what school you'd go to just based off the clothing lol~

#I haven't felt well enough to do anything actually productive lately GRRRR.. evil health issues....#but I can sometimes at least draw while I lay on the floor with a heating pad and etc. lol.. so...#goofy little sketches. Still dislike that the ipad thing someone gave me is either like.. maybe the settings are just off OR possibly the #screen is slightly broken in some regard - so the pressure sensitivity does not work at all. thus all lines are blunt looking #instead of having tapered edges. which I KNOW can be a stylistic thing. like I think it's fine mostly #but sometimes shading looks weird for all of the lines to be the exact same size/width with like no variation lol #though since it's just little sketches it doesnt matter lol but still... hrmm... ever working out my strategy for how to use the ipad for a #art things/if I can ever get used to it/etc.#AAANYWAY... still so uniform obsessed.. and have been since I was a child. Like way before going to middle school and meeting #the people who like anime and get into school uniforms of that variety. I mean like... age 7 before even having any friends #and having zero popular media interests or outside influences that would make uniforms Trendy. but I would see like a 'private school #uniform' on a new story on tv or something or in a book and was just like OUGH... I Should Dress That Way #I used to go to thrift stores and find multiple seperate pieces that could be combined together to look like a school uniform #I had like 4 or 5 different 'uniforms' that I made myself in that way. My first outfit that I was ever allowed #to pick out for myself as my big First Day Of Middle School outfit was literally like school uniform inspired #(maybe mixed with a little goth.. like it was a school uniform sort of look but black and white with fishnet armwarmers lol.. plaid +#stripes pattern mixing my beloved... )#I think it's just the same way that I love apartment buildings because I'm infinitely fascinated with like.. observing human nature and peo #le displaying their psersonalities in little ways and how you can give 10 people the same exact identical space but each one will decorate #it completely differently just depending on their own tastes and reasonnig and etc. I love the idea of everyone in some setting #having to be in one specific set outfit BUT you can tell something about them by the little ways they customize it or what type #of accessories they wear or if they choose to button their shirt fully or not or etc. etc. I like the constraints of 'okay everyone has to #be in exactly the same uniform - NOW. give them their own unique style somehow despite this' etc. etc. like #yaaaayyyy.. I love thinking of little obscure details that convey personality. they have a little pin hidden on the inside of their #hat. their shoes are just like everyone else's but more worn out. they have a necklace barely visible beneath their collar. their tie is #always a little more askew that everyone elses. or even. the uniform is EXACTLY on model entirely clean crisp pristine not a single element #customized or out of place - which STILL tells you something about them. etc. etc.#ANYWAY.. yeahg.. struggling to get anything done these last few weeks so.. blam. poof. alakazaam. scratchy little sketches #of nothing very productive or relating to any other project in particular be upon ye

I've got too many games I want to play and not enough free time 😭 I still need to finish my BG3 playthrough but since Endless Ocean: Luminous came out I've been playing a lot of that instead. Also just got back into Wizard101 last night. Started playing House Flipper again last weekend. Still need to finish BOTW so I can start a TOTK playthrough and finish Pokemon Shield so I can start on Pokemon Violet. I've been fighting off the urge to start up a new Skyrim playthrough for weeks. My brother just told me that Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is getting ported to the Switch. And now I'm suddenly feeling inspired to replay DAI... And throughout all of this I'm also playing the hell out of DragonVale on my phone. Someone just pay me to play video games all day please

#and before anyone suggests it: no i cant try to get into streaming #the way i play video games is extremely frustrating for other people to watch ahdjsksl #no one is going to give me money for producing a video where i spend two hours checking every barrel in the map while juggling my inventory #and then immediately give up on a puzzle and just sit in silence for 30 minutes while i look up a walkthrough instead #i need a situation that pays me $200 a day just to be autistic at the screen alone in the comfort of my own home #rambling #a few years ago i made it a mission to play all of the dragon age games and dlcs in order and i did not complete it #i got all the way to inquisition before i quit #i had already played it on ps3 but i wanted to replay on my new gaming laptop and unfortunately my computer decided it was too complicated #and also i just wanted to play as an elf again and i was resisting that urge bc i played as an elf the first time and wanted something new #so i didnt connect to my character as much #BUT ive learned a lot about optimizing my games from getting bg3 to run on my computer #so i think i could get it to handle dai now. especially if i upgrade to ssd like ive been wanting #and i just saw a dai post on my dash that made me daydream about possible characters and i was struck with inspiration #when i first played through on ps3 i didnt know anything about da lore. it was my first dragon age game #i was just doing whatever i thought seemed coolest #so i basically modeled my inquisitor after my dnd oc and then just picked a vallaslin i thought was pretty #and then when it came time to pick a specialization i was just like 'i mean my hand has rift magic right? seems obvious enough'#but now i know the LORE. and the dalish really interest me. and i want to make an inquisitor thats their own character #i didnt want to replay another elf mage bc i thought it would be too similar #but at the same time i wanted to re-experience dai (and experience trespasser for the first time) now that i knew more about the dalish #(with mods that fix the annoying bits where your character seems to not know about their own religion of course lol...)#i was thinking about that and i just got hit with some inspiration #instead of 'my dnd character but with a cool tattoo and rift magic and they kinda roll with the inquisitor stuff bc idk whats going on'#what if i made a more intentional character with a much different personality and their own backstory #theyre still the first of their clan but i know what that means now so theyre not really into the herald of andraste stuff #theyre a devotee of falon'din with his vallaslin and fittingly choose necromancy specialization (tho theyre annoyed by all the maker talk)#they can look cool and goth and maybe they even make some different choices about the well of sorrows 👀#i could keep rambling but im running out of tags gah #anyways ive got lots of ideas now and i think the playthrough would be unique enough to be worth it

Happy Halloween!

I have no tribute to give, but I did just watch Repo! The Genetic Opera and unfortunately for all the fictional characters that I play with like dolls in my head, I have been given ideas for Gouge

#Will I do anything with these?#Who knows!#But anyways the goth horror opera lives in my head now #Gouge would be an excellent Repoman #ok but dude. the special effects #especially for something in 2008 #the Largos and Mag and even Nathan occasionally singing in a ‘traditional’ opera style #instead of the punk rock the rest of the cast usually sang in #Except for Amber when she came to find the Graverobber!#Very cool symbolism #I’m so mad the captions didn’t actually translate Mag’s song from Italian to English #I had to look it up but it WAS relevant!!! it was!!! but all the captions said was #‘*sings in foreign language*’#thanks lionsgate your captions are shit #they missed several other bits of dialogue too #anyways.#that’s what I’ve been up to #in other news I mostly finished a random writing project and haven’t touched the ones I’ve been wanting to work on #and also many chores have been done that I haven’t been able to do for ages #the ADHD joke of ‘how’s the project going?’ ‘thanks for asking! Erik Swain's round was next, but since he graduated I will do the second half of his after moving him in downtown. So it's onto this household, where Melody immediately starts the semester off strong.

She does actually get to researching after her wake and bake whimsical morning bubble blowing session. the llama intrudes but her focus is strong.

this is such a lovely peaceful morning tbqh she kinda has it made.

oh yeah beau lives here now. he tries to craft a delicious plate of grilled cheese and ignores the llama as well.

Nobody went to class today because I didn't feel like sending them out plus there was enough going on. besides look at him he's having fun :) he's just one point away from having maximum enthusiasm in music.

an unexpected change of heart? perhaps. Maybe he won't have to worry about that whole "tricking him into trying a special basement wine and sealing the wall" thing after all.

i almost forgot halloween costumes. he's some kind of vampire or something. because he's gothic and whatever. he has a cape and he knows what he's doing

they make me sick.

did i give him a dog costume explicitly because I want to see if the accessory ears and werewolf ears stack and i think it is very hilarious? yes

i had no clue what outfit would fit a dog costume that wasn't getting too weird with it, so he's in this now. it calls to mind one of these:

Melody is going as a VHS 80s jazzercise dance video instructor. she's kinda killing it honestly.

he gets right into hacking his grades again and doesn't get caught this time. they'll never catch the hacker vampire. he'd do numbers on schreknet

she needs that mechanical point anyway. might as well fix this clog. She might also manage to graduate with honors this semester as long as the various bad influences in her life don't win over. unfortunately the worst influence shares a wall with her.
