Summary:

Y/n Hughes, international popstar, moved from Michigan to New Jersey to start fresh after ending things with her cheating ex-boyfriend, Jayden Williamson. Arriving at Nico's, you ran from your car, rushing out a 'hello' to Sam on the door before you're frantically pressing the button to his floor. Tapping your foot impatiently, you sigh in relief when the door dings and opens, rushing out and down the hallway to Nico's apartment. Banging on the door, it takes only a few seconds before the door swings open and you're dragged into warm arms and a firm chest.

"Hi, Sunneschi," he coos, his hand falling to your hair, good cheek pressing to the top of your head.

"Neeks," you sigh into his chest, relaxing into his hold. Nico shuffles you along the floor so he can kick his door shut, arms holding you close as he leads you over to the couch. He untangles himself enough to lower into the couch, pulling you into his lap as he moves, your weight settling onto his thighs comfortably. Your eyes run over his cheek, taking in the damage made, a frown forming as you fully take him in.

"Not too ugly for you?" He jokes but your eyes widen and your head shakes, hands flying to his face.

"No Nico," your voice is rushed and panicked. "Baby, I don't care what you look like, I'm worried about you."

Nico smiles softly, his thumb brushing over your cheekbone.

"My Sunneschi," he sighs happily, "I'm ok, I promise."

He leans in, pressing a soft kiss to your lips.
