in episode 1 x 15 (deep throat) of "the nanny", i keep thinking what if niles had decided to accompany c.c. to her sorority reunion? what if he was annoyed at max, who told c.c. he'd accompany her, for pretty much standing her up? it was a big night for her and it brought up a lot of insecurities for her around not having a partner or family or life.

what if, once niles realized max was going to stay with fran at the hospital, niles decided to make a surprise appearance at the reunion pretending to be her partner? dancing with her, getting her drinks, wrapping an arm around her waist, and pressing kisses to her neck...just generally being attentive to her... they'd make her sorority sisters jealous. they'd also secretly make humorous observations and jokes about them.

and what about after the reunion? he'd take her back to her penthouse and maybe they'd dance some more and have some wine... they'd talk. maybe more...

maybe this is another fic idea.
